June, the sight is worse than it has ever been. some days, and good other days. It still has a lot to do with the gels I have to put n my eyes as I have no oil glands left. This too shall pass. I am thankful for one eye that is definitely a trooper! Susie, my favorite thing from Pampered Chef is the Twixit! Clip Set. I have been using a set since 2005, I love them.

Scale was up and I'm sure I know why so I need to clean it up and get it in gear. Another cold day in the south but a little better than yesterday. Ann, I so hope your day is pain free books sound great! Becky, cold and dreary here, too but a little warmer than yesterday Bee, I always leave skins on potatoes, too. Love them. so sorry about your eyes. Audrey, I do that a lot too. I don't even know why. I always feel horrible afterwards. Cathy, being home and comfy and reading all sounds good to me. that recipe looks good! MJ, thanks for sharing the link! Love! Susi, I've been to PC parties but none with a singing DJ - let us know how that goes! June, that was the wind chill temp but yes out of the ordinary for here. a bit warmer today but not much.

LaDonna, aren't folks supposed to gain weight in the winter to keep us warm?

June - Glad they are going to use a nerve block instead of general. Bee - Sorry your eyes aren't getting better. Those potatoes sound good. Ann - She still has the diarrhea with only little improvement. She just finished a week of meds and has another week to go. She otherwise appears to be fine. If this doesn't work, blood tests will be next. LaDonna - You know what to do. It's the doing it that gets hard. Cathy - How did you like the potato leek soup?

Breakfast has been eaten and tracked. I started hydrating with water earlier. Moving will take place. Weβre headed out shortly to run some errands and visit with mom. Iβm definitely smiling as I aim for blue and KOKO. Have a healthy day all.

Woke up too early with a stuffed up nose that just won't open up in spite of OTC meds. I did not graze last night because instead I went to bed and read. The scale approved. MJ, glad you saved on your medication and am jealous that you will be leaving CVS. Thanks for the band link. He is a good looking young man. Susi, have fun at the Pampered Chef party. What does the singing DJ do at something like that. I've never been to one but our DDIL gave us bag closures like the ones in Bee's link. I think she bought them at IKEA. Poor Midnight. I hope this second round of antibiotics work for her. Bee, glad you have the one good eye and hope the other one improves. What did you have with the taters? Pam, have a nice visit with your mom. LaDonna, I am glad your weather is a bit warmer. Let's make this a good OP day. Cathy, how many books do you review each month? Do you get enough sleep to be rested? June, so glad R does not need the general anesthesia and am sending prayers that his surgery goes well and he has a good recovery.

Audrey, I had cooked some boneless pork chops in green chilies till they fell apart. The first night I stuffed a tortilla with part of it, and last night ate it atop the mashed taters, alongside a veggie salad --- half an avocado, sliced tomato and some thinly sliced sweet white onion. I will do it again as it was very good.

Bee Did the cancer or treatment impact your oil ducts? Will pray that you have more good days than bad. Yes, thx goodness for unimpaired sight in the other eye!
Susi Goodness, I have not been to a PC party in years. Still have my PC cookie dough scoop, but my small rectangula, metal serving spatula went kaput in a few years. Loving the singing DJ!
Me, too. Surgeon suggested that R will use a sling, but not all the time. Full recoverry can take two months. Hand doctor never said this directly, but R's nerve became entrapped because he was sitting in a chair so much after his neck operation. Hopefully at the end of this elbow recovery period, R will be closer to a fuller neck recovery. Ha ha ha... this wife can only hope.
LaDonna Sending you hugs. We all know how easy it is to get derailed. Know that you will shake it off and take steps to get right back on track.
Pam Drinking water earlier in the day is another way to set off in a strong start. Enjoy the visit with your dear mother. π
Audrey Sorry to read that you awoke with congested nasal passages. Does peppermint work for you? (It does for me. Even hard peppermint candies can help). Did you feel better later in the day?
Thanks for the prayers for R. My poor guy has been through the wringer.

June prayers continue for R. He truly has had more than his share of surgeries. You remain in my prayers as well.

Not the cancer, June, they removed my top eyelid. That's why I have to use so many gel drops.
Dinner tonight is pea salad with roast beef atop a baked sweet tater. I just had a hankering.
