Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Bright and sunny today. Should hit 40*. I plan on going for a walk this afternoon. I’ll be walking in the street because it’s still icy on the sidewalk.
Making a quick veggie soup for dinner. I can also enjoy for lunch on Friday and Saturday.
Slower than usual at work. New girl was in the drivers seat. She’s going to work out well. Her DBF works at the dealership too, so I’m sure that will keep her from quitting. I let her know she’s doing well, she was getting down on herself. I had her do some scanning when it quieted down, she likes keeping busy.
Nothing much else going on.
See ya tomorrow

Joyce, sounds like a good plan from the WW leader to look ahead to spring. I’m always afraid of falling on ice, one of the reasons I don’t like walking outside in cold weather. I was happy to hear the good report on the new girl.
Ruth, I thought you were staying 2 weeks in Hawaii. Hope you have a good trip home. It is nice that the family can help you out when Stan has his procedure. Will he be in the hospital overnight?
Our friend arrived yesterday around noon. Nice to have her visit. It was cold yesterday but today is beautiful. We had bocce this morning and my team won again. We are off to a good start. We leave in a half hour for our happy hour.

Good night all. VERY sad/strange arrivals home for both us & DD’s family. Shortly after they arrived home, they discovered DD’s cat (about 15?) was pretty much unresponsive. They rushed him to a vet but he passed right before they got there, almost like he waited for them. She had 3 cats about 5 years ago but now has none. Her girls were nearly hysterical and had to stay with the gentleman who lives next door (used to be Harper’s school principal). Thankfully he’s used to dealing with kids. The girls remembered their dad taking Whisper (cat #2) to the vet and her not coming home. They were already exhausted from a week of vacation, 10+ hours of travel and very little or no sleep. Then my DH went and picked up Maggie at the kennel and not once, but twice ended up in the snow and a ditch and had to (1) dig himself out (after a walk to borrow a shovel); and (2) end up getting pulled out by a neighbor with a tractor type vehicle. We got about 5” of snow overnight and DH was going to blow the driveway when he got home with the dog. Instead I ended up going out after he called and shoveled over 1/2 of it so he could get in without tracking it down into ice! We’re both going to bed shortly. Tired after not much sleep on the planes and lots of exercise for both of us since we got home. More tomorrow.
