Goals for today: 20 minutes of exercise + journal filled in accurately
Looking forward to talking to granddaughters this evening. Not looking forward to rinsing the dishes to put them into the dishwasher - the water from the tap is COLD. Nothing new to report. I finished up reviews for two books yesterday and will start a new book today. One of the books was about child abductions and I skimmed it a bit as I didn't like the reason - torture a nine year old child to find out where his father is - for the greedy profits of a big company then revenge for children lost. Anyway...well written and might try another book by the author but could not read every word. The other book was a quick easy to read finale to a romantic suspense trilogy...preferred the first book to the second two. Ah well...some authors can be great or not so great. Guess that is probably true of all of us.
MJ: What tracking tip and tricks did WW have to offer? I don't know where you get the energy but am sure your grandchildren and children must be thankful you are there for them.
ANN: Interesting what your grandma said about seeing the dead in dreams. My grandfather's sisters saw ghosts/spirits and talked to them around the dining table - or so mom told me long ago. I think I prefer happy ghosts in dreams...it was just odd since I did not know this man and only saw him a handful of times.
SUSI: The Pampered Chef party sounds like a performance. Glad you enjoyed it and found something to buy. No inroads into to-do list but...maybe when it warms up a bit
LADONNA: It sounds like your daughter's outdoor party will be a LOT of fun!
PAM: Here's to another OP day for you!
BECKY: I am thrilled that your church has someone in charge of/willing to assist with transportation of those that may need it. I am sure it will all come together.
AUDREY: Hope your busy day included some fun times.

Goooood morning Will try to read personals from yesterday. Hate to be out of the loop. But am not sure how much longer R will sleep.
Ann, Audrey, Becky, & Bee -- kudos for your your containing commitment. Becky-- haha ha. . . Likely it is very obvious what ODAT means, but not for methis morning. Plz help!
Cathy Good exercise goal! Good journaling goal! Easy to forget a nibble, bite, or lick. Hope that you have a chance to talk w/ your daughter & granddaughters tonight. Also hate sticking my hands in cold water. At the fishing cabin or when camping, I soak dishes in a dishpan first, then add a pan of boiled water.
You've been very productive reviewing books! Is the new computer working fine?
Will have to read yesterday's thread about the metaphysical world.

Sunday's goals A long bubble bath. Friday & Saturday morning were very stressful. I am grateful that so far this surgery is nothing compared to the spinal fusion. Followed dr's orders regarding pain pills. He only needed one for pain in the afternoon.
But I lost it when R showed me a bump under his vein on his left hand yesterday after lunch. Then he reports much in the evening that it was larger three days ago.... WTH. . And, no he never thought of going to the doctor's. . . or telling me. And he will wait to talk to the dr. . . Yeah, like that has worked out so well. . .

Good morning all. Cathy - I was reading John Sanford's Buried Prey but it got too intense to even skim through. Men!!! June - Hang in there! I'm in. Ferals are fed and I am off to spin. The venison stew is probably the best meal I have made in many years. My dad would be very proud. I have 2 servings left and sent Carol home with one.

Good morning all. Woke up refreshed and feeling well rested. And...it's a wonderful 34 degrees Win win. I may even decide to go for a hood walk later on. We shall see. Seems like we are all on the same page with our goals. I'm in good company. Becky I forgot all about ODAT....that's all any of us can really handle. LOL June...I agree MEN...a totally different species. Praying it's nothing. Cathy I also prefer 'happy dreams' and I don't try to figure them out! Susi I also tried to get into that book and felt the same way. Waving and will CBL

Good morning, Ann - Becky - Audrey - Bee - Cathy- June - Susi - and AWF! Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1, who is slowly getting better (yes, it might go faster if he'd go slower). Extra prayers for R and "the bump"... ⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️ Yesterday's WW workshop was just a tad bit <oy>. We had a substitute coach, Jean/Joan the Super-Exuberant. So we moved along loudly, at warp speed. Nothing much new and different on the tracking front, although we did review the various ways to guesstimate and the rationale for "always tracking". They are now holding Learn-Your-WW-Perks sessions in addition to the APP Academy and announced that there'd be one yesterday mid-day. But that actually got protests from folks - "Don't tell us ON THE DAY that it's taking place. Tell us IN ADVANCE so we can plan to be there." I'm proud of the folks who spoke up (some of our quieter gals); they're right! And when I was standing in line, the coach mentioned something about "something in the works" for those of us who are maintaining < >. KSMBrunch at Charlie Brown's with DBigSis was fun but getting there was like paddling out in the Ark (the torrential rains were mid-day). But we're all steak'd out and talked about many things. Toots' and my afternoon was quiet and twoBoyz arrived around 7 PM - the bookends - the teenager and the 7-yr-old (youngest in his family and #6 of 7 in the pantheon of GDKids). Son#1 also sent a pizza - a REAL pizza, not Dominos - from one of the better stores in town <doubleOY>. Toots is still sawin' wood but the Kressling's phone alarm woke him up <hahaha>. The Zigster also woke up, came out for hugs, and is back snuggled in the guest bedroom. We have no idea how long they'll be here today but we'll get Italian take-away around noon. And the Pro Bowl - not our favorite game but "it will do" - is at 3 PM eastern time. Right now it's time for coffee... ☕☕☕... ⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️ Have a healthy-eating day, all! ⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️🌤☀️🌤⛅️

Cathy I had a similar dream experience last week abou my BIL's mother.
LaDonna Hope the BD party was a happy event. Happy birthday to your daughter, Laken!
Becky Ecstatic that you & Kenneth found a surgeon that you trust & explained everything to you. Wonderful that the medicine is giving you relief and that you had a good night's sleep on Friday. Glad that you will have support for the hospital stay & post-op period.
Mj Ha ha ha. . .yes, having children delivered after they have been fed breakfast does not seem like much to ask. Would love to have grands around. You are lucky even if some days are hectic.
Susi Good to listen to your body and take the day of rest. Love how this PC rep combined entertainment, food, and quality products.
Audrey Good that you only had to make a minor adjustment to dinner to accommodate Bob's situation. Some days are like that-- emotionally tiring and or phyiscially busy. Sending a big hug.

Mj Those hugs are priceless. O M G... nice to have parent drop off real pizza w/ children. Yayyyyyy! Glad that your steak lunch was a treat in all ways.
Becky Duh..... one day at a time.. of course. I think I have to go back to my post-spinal surgery approach-- one part of the day at a time. His sister is supposed to visit today. While she is here, I may "go" somewhere for a break.
Susi I probably could not read that book either. I can read thrillers, but not books that delve deeply into the psyche and/or brutal crimes of human predators.
Ann Yes, men are a different species. I just need a long respite from my guy's ongoing medical surprises.
Thank you all for listening. Today will be a better day. Time for another cup of tea. Breaking out my best tea on hand. Yorkshire Gold from the U.K. Manufactured under Prince of Wales' permission. La-,de-duh!

MJ also happy that the people at your WW meeting spoke up. Yeah to REAL pizza June great idea to go back to your post spinal surgery approach. It worked for you then and will work for you now. Great idea to 'take off' when you SIL is in for a visit. Coffee was extra good this morning. We are having lo meat sauce, pasta mb, sausage and a salad. Will most definitely have to plan my day around that and drink water! Later......

Good Morning Everyone It is raining lightly now and we had a good shower during the night. It was dry when we walked Lily Belle and the current rain came as a welcome surprise. I wish it would continue all day. Cathy, enjoy talking to your granddaughters tonight. (((Becky))) I hope today is better. MJ, I am glad you had a nice brunch yesterday. I feel the same about the Pro Bowl. June, men are just procrastinators about health issues hoping they will just go away. Susi, I am glad the venison stew was so good. What are your plans for the day? Hi Bee and Pam. Hope we all have a good day. The scale went down for me and I hope that pattern continues. Today I am sticking at home. I want to finish reading The Giver of Stars by JoJo Moyes. I am just into reading good stories now and also do not want to read anything about brutal crimes. Dinner is salmon, broccoli and salad. Here's to another OP day.
