When it comes to dieting many words can be used in relation to how we watch our calories: management, moderate, limit, budget, control, restrict, and even watch. I got to thinking that we do this in other areas of our lives. We are not just restricting when it comes to calories. What other areas in your lives besides calories do you manage and not just indulge as much as you want?

The first thing that comes to my mind is caffeine since if I have too much, I have trouble getting to sleep at night. I also limit certain types of food and drink, sweets, refined carbs, alcohol, diet soda for different reasons. I also pretty much budget when it comes to spending money, computer time, social media, and sitting and reading or doing puzzles. I almost forgot I restrict the number of cats we can have. At one time we had five, now we only have three.

Interesting question...
*With the banks only releasing 300 dollars per week we are definitely thinking about how we spend the money *sleep...making myself go to bed before I finish a book can be difficult *I did Veganuary this year and that cuts out all animal products...had a few slips
A lot of things are mostly gone anyway (candies, cookies, etc) since I tended to cut back on them in 1984 and again in 1998 when I was rigidly on the WW diet. Now I don't even think about making or buying some foods that once were staples of my day.

Well, I could probably just read, watch TV or play on the internet every waking hour. So I do try to limit my sitting time. Other than that I can't really think of anything.
