Good Morning ~ hoping for a Terrific Tuesday!
Feeling a tad better. Do I dare say that aloud? By late afternoon at work I was spent. I couldn't believe how I ached! Could barely walk to my car and once home I just knew I could not make dinner. DH got Taco Bell. Ugh. But I was hungry...I just sound whiny I know. All is tracked so that's the good news.
Looking back on the day I think I honestly was dehydrated. While running the computer program, checking on the two different sites, troubleshooting and climbing up and down stairs (Library is on 3rd floor, computer lab is below it on 2nd floor) I didn't refill my water as often as I needed. The Brita water fountains are at the other end of the building - today I plan to make the time and keep drinking fresh water! No way do I want to feel like that again.
Other than my physical fatigue, it was a good productive day at work. I lay on the couch and was sound asleep by 6:30PM!! lol But hey, I feel better today!
Oh - Lindsey update me on her Internship - she met with the agency's director who had no idea she was struggling and trying to find her own supervisor. He guided her towards a different unit where she met their staff and reported a 'much better vibe' than her last week experience. Whew. Okay.

Carole - are you out there? I'm hoping you had time to really dive into the WW site and all it has to offer. Sue - Hooray!! Sarah is home! But geesh, still, I hope she is on the mend and doesn't over do it with taking the Boys to and from practices/games/school. It's still a lot. Glad you didn't have to take off from work yesterday as I know your Sick days are well, zero, you have to use Vacation days, right? It was so good of you to chip in and help - and WOW!! Our Sue joined Planet Fitness!!! I'm smiling here! You are amazing and very brave...great job! Gabrielle - glad this is a stay-at-work week lol I'm eager to review the new data this round of testing is showing...our next step is to train teachers (again) to USE their data in seeing where their students are with the PA Standards and start diving deeper. Glad the Tomato Soup recipe worked out - I love tomato soup! I'll have to look for a similar recipe. And noo...I still haven't figured out Pinterest. Sorry! I did get an email saying 'Someone invited you to their board' lol I'm assuming that's yours Okay - dashing out here soon. I totally forgot to shut down the computer lab last night and left all 28 laptops up and unplugged! Ugh...I text our IT Guy who thinks they'll only need an hour to power up but I have testing scheduled at 8:30. So...we agreed to meet early and get this done ...always something, right?

Mornin' Christine - thanks for starting us off this morning ♥ I am dragging today! Glad you are finally feeling better! Yes keep that water bottle FILLED today! You must be getting a lot of steps each day as well! YAY for losing the 10# and having better shoes... you will rock the next 10 in no time!!
I am stalled (again).. but I know it's the sleep thing... it will all work out at some point. Gotta get through the next 2 weeks then I think I can breathe again!
Today I need to start my list for Eden's party Sunday.... expecting winter weather this week - Thursday - Friday, then again Sunday!
Yesterday was a good day at work for me too! I got several MORE settlements done - only 1 week "behind" now! Feeling like there is light at the end of that tunnel!
Let me see if I can catch up a bit... ♥

Ruh Roh - sorry you have to go early today Christine - but yes... always something! Unfortunately I have NOT gotten into the WW site... I am ashamed to admit it is overwhelming to me right now! God knows I need it more than anything - but... someday!
Move more Monday... well I did get a few extra steps, but not enough to count for much!
OMGoodness... how can that teacher even THINK you have time to proctor a class right now?? I agree reschedule her whole class - and let her do it when she returns! OY VEY!
Must check, is Whole Wheat pasta less points? Ken made spaghetti last night - I need to buy some frozen zoodle things so I can have that in the future! I did track to the best of my ability - but he also threw the whole pot of sauce, meat, pasta in one pan to serve... so measuring was a "Challenge"! I know, I should be grateful he cooked...
Oh Sue! You just can't catch a break! Sorry one more thing thrown into your week! Yikes... get those Thieves rollers going!! I feel a funky nose/throat... so will grab my Airborne today! Isn't this NingXia supposed to help my immune system too??? Day three - done!
Gosh even if Sarah is home... maybe she shouldn't be home with the boys just yet??
Ummm, "THEY" say the wine disturbs sleep... but... I have not had any in the house since the end of December and I am NOT seeing a difference! UGH! Will continue to plug along... I know it's the weather... and my lack of exercise... and probably not eating right... like I said these 2 weeks, then I can get back on track!
I tracked yesterday - will do it again today... chicken fajitas (salad for me) tonight! With LOTS of water!!
Gabrielle: We were in the 30s here also - still cold here too, even for New England! I HATE IT! LOL
WOO HOO for no travel this week! So your AZ run is 2/15? Gosh it will be nice to be in AZ for a while won't it??
Ohhhh, I love a good tomato soup! Can you share the recipe, please? I NEED to get more comfortable cooking new things... healthier things...
I have always found it interesting that blending fruits adds points but blending veggies does not... I need to get back to my butternut squash soup too! I just do NOT like having to go down to the basement to heat my lunch! I know the stairs would be good for me... but UGH... it seems like So.Much.Work. Somedays!
OH we were on the 4th floor at the hotel last weekend, and I used the stairs to go to breakfast and back!
Thank you - yes, my back is feeling much better. Still can easily tweak it out - but am doing OK - holding my own! I agree - a new exercise plan is so hard to make happen! I am a all or none kind of person... but I also want to SEE results...like I just did 30 minutes on the E why am I not seeing it on the scale! ?? LOL I know... need to retool my way of thinking! I think I will try to print out the Zero point foods list... I know the usual things, but need a refresher!
BTW I think you mentioned my walking in Boston, and my enjoying it? YES, I LOVE walking like that! I love the city, the new sits to see... I just don't like walking when I am doing it FOR the "exercise"! How stupid is that, huh???
Sue: YAY for joining PF!! I am sure you will utilize it to it's fullest! You will probably know someone else who goes and you can get a buddy to WO with too! I didn't know they had the 30 minute circuit thing! I used to enjoy that at Curves, and Leading Edge - way back when... but I also did not lose a lot of weight... so maybe I wasn't putting enough into it?? Can't wait to hear how you like it!
Hope Sarah slept well being home in her own bed!

OK Time to get moving... oh Gabrielle - YES... I was very pleased with my settlements on Saturday - even yesterday, I let some other work "go" for a bit so I could get more done... feeling very good about the progress! Will get at least 2 more done today - but it's a short day for allergy injections! Then home to dinner and WILL get these damned dishes done tonight - if it kills me!
Ken was in my way last night... he was trying to help... we all know how that goes sometimes, don't we?? LOL He tries...
Today should be a fairly nice day, 40s... sunny... before the winter stuff comes in on Thursday!
Hope to chat tomorrow - Going to try to make it a TERRIFIC TUESDAY! ♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Track Tuesday and it is 29 degrees! Brrrr......layers for this girl today! I have to judge a speech contest at the local middle school at 8:00 so need to leave a little early for track so that I can get into the showers early at the gym...kind of a rush, but love seeing the kids do their speeches at this small school. Had spaghetti with zoodles for dinner (80% lower fat chicken sausage in the sauce) and I am taking some to work with me (warm lunch-yahoo!). Dreading the cold of the track right now, but everyone there is always supportive and friendly and I wind up being glad that I did it....
Christine: SO glad that you are feeling better and got some good sleep! Well, the good thing is that you remembered about the computers, right? So you will be ready today. We have been using Chromebooks for our MAP testing and it goes well...do you have Chromebooks? Good job with your tracking...there are some good choices that are WW friendly there (I have had to eat there for lunch before as the only option)...better than a lot of other things! So glad that Lindsay is having a better experience now--what a rough start! She is a smart, strong girl and they will be seeing that. Here is a link to the soup -- I didn't put the white beans on mine, but DH loved it. If you put the white beans on (due to the oil) it is 4 pts, otherwise it is 3. Silky Tomato Soup with White Beans and Garlic Oil . I will be making it again soon! Hope that today is a good day for you!

Sue: So glad that Sarah is comfortable at home, and hope that she continues to allow herself to get better--maybe Josh is staying home one more day to help? She must be resting so much better (at night). YAY for joining PF! I hope that you find it to be convenient and a good way to get some exercise! Do they have any classes? Hope that you got a good night's sleep and have a good day today.
Carole: Each year, as Valentine's Day rolls around, I think of Eden's birthday and I am reminded of how fast time goes by! How fun that will be to host the party on Sunday! You are such a good grandma. Hey, I totally get the walking for pleasure vs. walking for exercise.....so that is why, with the TM, I find things to distract me. I watch recorded shows that I don't allow myself to see otherwise and enjoy (Biggest Loser is on again with Bob Harper and I like it better than the old one). Maybe you can find a podcast or book that you would want to listen to while walking? Only allow yourself to listen while walking? You never know! Or better yet, a reliable friend to walk with you? So glad that your back is better ...and the hot tub is warmer now maybe? Hope that today is a good day for you...I posted the soup recipe in my response to Christine...I really liked it. By the way, on purple, whole wheat pasta and potatoes are zero points. 300 zero point foods to choose from. Did you switch to purple?
Okay girls, gotta go and get there early. Have a good day ladies! We are having minestrone soup for dinner (I will add some chicken sausage or turkey to mine)...low points and vegan options

Morning all....talked to Sarah last night and the only reason they let her home was if she promised to not overdo....the only thing she will do is get the boys up and on the bus which they pretty much do themselves anyway....they will buy lunch so no packing required and then she just needs to go out on the porch when the bus pulls up so the bus driver sees and adult. She convinced them that she would get better rest at home in her own bed or couch and since everything she was taking was oral by yesterday she could do that at home. It will still be a very long haul, several weeks before she feels "herself" but she should also feel better getting up and moving more, that will help her get her strength back.
Will catch up tonight after I stop at the bank and Walmart for a lock for PF.....see you all then!

Good morning! Well I finished the stuffing envelopes project by mid-afternoon yesterday so I am on the available list again. They said they might call me again in July, which would be fine because it's a slow time for extra help jobs usually.
Christine-so glad that you are feeling better. I would believe physical fatigue, because I felt mental fatigue doing a boring repetitive job, but just kept going. It is important to stay hydrated.
Sue-you will have to let me know what you think of Planet Fitness. We have them around here. Glad Sarah got to come home where she will be more comfortable.
Gabrielle-yes, brrr! Good idea to do layers. The speech judging sounds like fun...I bet the kids will be amazing.
Carole-glad the back is feeling better but sorry you are dragging...coffee will help some! I need to get some whole grain pasta - I think Greg will eat it, otherwise it will be for ME.
So I have a few errands this morning and a dentist appointment at 1. I guess my dentist is on medical leave so I will see a dentist filling in for her. The most important part is the cleaning and since it took 3 months to reschedule my appointment, it will probably take longer even though I try to practice good oral hygiene!
I've been tracking...questioning whether I should go back to blue, but giving purple another week. THe scale is still going up and down...ugh! Need to drink more water.
Have a good Tuesday!

Good Morning everyone
Well I came back to work today and it feels good to have some normalcy in my life. Kerry is doing really well, we went to his first Dr's appt yesterday with his regular Dr, and he's exactly where he should be at in this stage of recovery. He has a cardiologist appt on Friday and my Dad can drive him to that, or more likely my Dad volunteered which is nice then I don't have to miss work and loose out on hours. I'm the only income. WWOW isn't real happy to have me back, she only cares when she want's but that's OK, I really don't care to much. Audrey is home sick with a cold so I have her quarantined into her own room so she doesn't get Kerry sick. It's a cold one here only 27degrees outside with lots of frost.
Christine I hope you get over this cold quickly, I know it's taken Audrey down also, just so sneezy and stuffy, no fever though. Glad Lindsey is going to a different place than the last for her internship, the last one didn't sound very nice at all. It's so hard watching your child having to go through the difficulties of life. For the most part people are nice it seems but it's so different at a job, co workers can be so nasty to each other and it gets stressful. Drink lots of water today.
Carole I'm so happy Matt finally get's his surgery and start to heal. When do they do it? Sounds like your work is going really well and your getting caught up again. Yeah! I haven't got a chance to look at the Pampered Chef party your hosting but I will today, I love PC. I can't believe Eden will be another year older! Is she 5 or 6 I can't remember.
OK WOWW is back, boy she quick, I thought I had longer time to visit with you
Hello Sue, Gabrielle and Lisa I hope you all have a great day'

Evening all....stopped at the bank and Walmart after work....took me forever to find the combination locks. Now need to pack my bag so I can head over Thursday after work, get changed quick and be ready for class at 5:00pm. So far I am the only one in the class which will be nice. I also signed up for a core class next Tuesday night at 5:00pm. Now back to the weekend to catch up!
Gabrielle....sorry your long run ended up longer than it should have been but I'm sure the woman you were running with appreciated you checking on her from time to time. Sounds like it turned out to be a perfect day for a run. Sounds like your presentation to the data folks was much needed. Communication is a key thing in all work places. Yes, Sarah was one sick kid....she has always been very healthy and unfortunately she "brushed off" the stomach issues with so many viruses this time of year she just thought it was that and then it snowballed.... Believe me, I have been washing my hands a lot....been using my Thieves EO and so far I have avoided everything but that quick 8 hr stomach bug....but then again w/o the Thieves and other oils it could have lasted longer?? Who knows!
Christine...my Sunday was pretty simple...YAY for the sweatshirt fitting looser...see, all your hard work is paying off!! WTG!! Yes, I heard "Phil" predicted an early spring as well...so far we can't complain about winter here this year but I will always take an early spring....as you all know, I could skip winter all together!!
Oh...did anyone else hear that the humane society wants them to release "Phil" and replace him with an animatronic ground hog because they say Phil's conditions are inhumane?? What next....
Unfortunately Christine, Sarah was getting little rest in the hospital.....someone was always coming in with meds, to take vitals, to draw blood, etc....then with the meds, she was up and down to the BR after the Miralax so rest was NOT something she got much of....I'm hoping now that she's home, she will finally get some. I would love to see Oprah's talk as well...I think what I admire about Oprah and this journey is that she is just like us....if you remember back years ago, she did so crash diet and lost a ton of weigh, then gained it back, then another diet and gained it back....now with WW, she is focusing on a healthier lifestyle to last a life time and I don't think the focus is as much on weight as it is on health and the weight will come off with healthier choices.
My one co-worker did Keto and lost about 15#, she didn't really need to lose much but wanted to get it off as she had just turned 50....she's been doing it for about 9 months now and lately, she has been struggling to stay on the Keto diet....she is "cheating" and wanting all the stuff she has banned from her diet. For me, I don't think Keto is something I could ever "live with" forever....
Gabrielle...I'm sure two different meals gets tough some nights....do you think Ed will stick with this Vegan diet or is at temporary training choice?? Will have to look for that movie....honestly never heard of it. I really didn't watch the Super Bowl either....not a huge pro football fan...love college football but the pros are too many egos for me! Jason said it was a great game and the last 1/2 of the 4th quarter was really exciting!
Carole...glad you didn't have to hang out too long waiting to get into work on Saturday!! WOW, 8 settlements in 3 1/2 hours! That's great!! Glad you got to the hotel in time to enjoy the HT before the party....really, they could wait to do maintenance after the usually closing time?? People pay good $$$ to take advantage of the amenities of the hotel.... Sounds like you did a lot of cooking and prepping for a great week of food this week! Glad Ken helped out with produce chopping!
Carole....the app is called "Workout for Women"....the icon is pink with a big white W on it....it has lots of options for short workouts to get you started.

Christine....bummer you couldn't take one more day to rest and feel better....probably would have done you good! WOW to the late night email from the teacher...hopefully you reschedules to next week so you didn't have to scramble for a proctor for her class. I know while Linds's anxiety is normal, she will do great when she meets with the director....
Gabrielle....it's funny, the last couple days you have been colder in CA than we have been here in PA....it was 65° when I came out of work yesterday and today was 61° when I got out....temps are dropping the next few days, but still in the 40's and low 50's so still above normal for our area this time of year! Oh please share the recipe for the tomato soup...I LOVE tomato soup! When I talked to David the other day, he was saying that several school in their area actually closed for a few days because of the number of sick kids....one school at 35% of their student body out sick one day so they closed for 2 days and had the janitorial staff give the building a good "disinfecting"!!
Christine...glad you are finally feeling better today....LOL, we all get a little whiny when we are sick, especially when it lingers for a while like yours has....finally on the mend now so that's a good thing! So glad Linds got support and guidance from the director....I'm sure she feels better about that and she managed to handle it all by herself!! When I was talking to Sarah today she said she was trying to "putter" just to be moving to help with all the stiffness she has....she did nothing for a week and everything is stiff and sore...she said she could "barely do the basics"...I reminded her that she's supposed to not overdo and Josh will have to pick up the slack for a bit yet....
I will say Christine...when I walked into PF last night I looked around at the majority of the members and "they are me"....regular people, all shapes, sizes, ages, etc just trying to get moving and get healthy! I'm excited to give it a go....if I switch my route home after work, I make it "on my way"....the Y was actually the opposite direction of home and out of my way so this is a bonus....it's actually just down the street from Sarah a little ways....
Believe me Carole...both Jason and I have had the Thieves close and "knock on wood" we are both avoiding the crud! Yes, the Ningxia did help me with energy...but I honestly didn't notice it until I ran out and didn't have if for a bit...I remember Sarah Morello saying the same thing...I guess it's a gradual thing...she did the 30 day challenge originally too and then stopped, after a few days she noticed she was not as "peppy" during the work day....I noticed the same thing so I have between 1-2oz with my oils in it every morning!
Well...Hannah wants to FT so gotta run for now....likely won't be back till morning!
Sweet, skinny, OP dreams to all!
