Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Slept in a bit this morning. Feeling back to normal today. Went for a walk yesterday, weather was nice for that. Will get in another walk today. Will get colder, and wetter starting tomorrow. Taking advantage of today.
Dinner for the next few days at work will be roasted chicken and vegetables. Just adding Italian seasoning, olive oil to the cutup chicken and veggies (zucchini, grape tomatoes, onions, and broccoli) and roasting in the oven. Easy.
Other cashier is skipping the WW workshop tomorrow. She said her head is just not into it right now. But we did talk about getting in more exercise and she says she feels motivated to move at least. Her biggest problem is the same as mine. If she doesn’t plan and prep, she just grazes all day.
Laundry and sorting on today’s agenda.
See ya later

I got home about 11 o’clock last night, long day. I was very happy with the outcome of the SB. Patrick Mohone seems like a nice young guy and very grounded. Hope the win doesn’t change that. I didn’t see much damage from the hurricane but I was not in any small towns/villages. From the airport the driver got on a main highway and from there it was county roads. On the county roads there were a lot of fields and what appeared to be small farms. The place where the conference was at, The St. Regis, was closed for over a year due to hurricane damage. None of the buildings were damaged but many of the trees were down. I think a lot of the damage was in the more rural areas. I will try to get back on later or early tomorrow morning.

Good evening all. Watching the Wild game (at least for now). Hoping it’s a good game and I’ll watch it all. Been a busy day. Mara got up about 7:30 so was fed 2 hrs before she had to get in the car!!! Her mood was touchy for the first hour then it was better. We took her home to her mom, then headed to Stan’s follow up appt. at the cardiology office. The NP says he’s doing great and he can s l o w l y start exercising again. He agreed to walk with me some and to work on the treadmill will alternating walking and running for a while. He goes back at 1 month and 3 mo and between those 2 if he’s still out of AFib they will start to reduce / eliminate the heart meds. Last time he was at 2 mo + 2 weeks (so only 2 weeks away from being good) when AFib returned. He’s excited to get past 3 mo and get off all the meds.
We ran to both Costco and Target to pick up needed items. Then home and we worked more on our taxes. I’ve saved receipts for all our prescriptions and charitable donations and things like car registrations and we can’t claim any of it anymore! So frustrating! We are just doing standard deduction. Getting a refund so guess I shouldn’t complain. Next we’ll have to start on our state taxes, MN is high so we never know if we’ll pay or get money back.
While out I got a call from DF Rita’s & my mutual friend. Rita is having issues with her pancreas (some numbers way too high). She is diabetic so not sure if related to that or not. They did a 48 hr IV treatment on her, which made her sick, and that set off her myasthenia gravitas and so she couldn’t do therapy. Her insurance decided that since she wasn’t making progress, they could evict her from the nursing home. Long and complicated. She appealed and should hear tonight. She may end up going to live with her daughter because she can’t afford full time help and her rent.
Dottie, so nice to see you home safely. I was worried you were sick Joy. More tomorrow!

Joyce, I’m sorry to hear about all the sickness going around thru the dealership. Stay healthy. Your roasted chicken and veggies sounded like a good and healthy meal. Hope the snow doesn’t cause you too many problems.
Ruth, that is great that Stan got a good report from the cardiologist. Hope he continues to do okay and not do too much too soon. Getting together with “Just Girlfriends” sounds like a fun time. Have you met any of them before in person? When is this planned for? Good luck with selling the watch. Hope Rita hears some good news about a place to live. Bill has started on the taxes and so far it looks like we will get a refund. We haven’t been able to take a medical deduction for many years so I haven’t tracked any of that for years.
I spent most of the morning working on bills and started on my expense account. I want to get that in soon, although the charge that I put everything on won’t come in till the end of February and won’t be due till the middle of March. I didn’t bring anything home except for several small note pads and some pens, both of which will be put to good use here. Bill left some of the mail and papers for me to check out and now the papers are in the recycling bin and the mail (mostly EOB’s) is taken care of.
