Good Morning - WORK IT WEDNESDAY... I have my day of eating "planned"... and water - tea and seltzer... trying to convince myself to do SOMETHING else today towards WORKING IT Wednesday... like MOVING... but I do need some computer time tonight to take care of my PC party! UGH I have not been on top of that at all, and orders have to be in on Friday - so I have to get on it tonight!
Yesterday was a good day - OP, well tracked, and used WPA but that's OP too right?
My only "glitch" is that I am home alone for dinner tonight - so I tend to not do it right, when it is just me home! I have a plan, so now I have to make it happen!
Slept OK last night, but stayed in bed an extra 1/2 hour this morning - so not a lot of time to catch up, but I will try! ♥

Good Morning ~ Wait, I have to comment to our Sue: Kellen's story is HILARIOUS!! Did he actually write in his book 'my cousin's dad was dropping fbombs all over the place" lol lol lol OMG!! I slept really well. Unfortunately I STILL have this darn sinus infection so I will begin the amoxicillin today. Really didn't want to start another round of meds but I need to get healthy. Last night I sort of talked myself into just staying with the same antibiotic as I'm half way done with it. But this morning's coughing and stuffiness has told me the REALITY is I'm not better yet. Pushing through another day at work - at least I'm fever free!

OH my "news" is... I am caught up to January 31st on my settlements! WOO HOO!! SO today I will get Weekend 2/1 - 2/3 done and maybe even 2/4! I have to wait until "next day" anyway... so right now only 1 "behind'"!
Gabrielle: OMGoodness... 29 degrees and you are raring to go! Well OK maybe not "raring" but I know in the end you were glad to have done it!
Interesting soup recipe... with bread in it??
LOL Yes the party will be fun for Eden... she requested a telescope for her birthday - so that's what we got her. I love that she wants a learning tool!! She is very interested in space, stars, and planets... I know she will get use out of it and enjoy learning! She changed her menu (again) so we have decided to go with sandwiches! She wants deli meat/sandwiches, so I will also do a salad (bar) for those if us that want something other than sandwiches!
Thanks, yes, I need to get myself walking again - and once I do, it will be an easier habit to continue... especially IF I see some results from doing it! LOL I know it won't be an overnight result, but just feeling better - will help a LOT (I think)! Yes the tub is great - we used it Monday night... I have to admit that as much work as it is to drain and refill, I do enjoy FRESH water when we do it... I DID switch to PURPLE but have not gotten on there to print out the zero points food list! That may be some of my computer time tonight - while home alone!
Sue: I hope Sarah in fact does lie low for a few days, but yes... moving a little will help her more than being bedridden! I agree she will get better sleep at home in her own bed! Hoping the boys are over whatever they had... hoping the whole house has an easy weekend ahead to regroup and relax!
Lisa: Well that gig was short lived huh?? Glad it's over though... Yes, I need to add the whole wheat pasta to my shopping list again! Yes, let's make a pact to get an extra bottle of water in today... I was only at 80 oz yesterday... I NEED that extra 20 oz!
Jenny: YAY for Kerry doing so well in his recovery! Oh well WWOW can do her thing - you do yours... or she can quit! LOL Oh No, poor Audrey... good to keep her away from Kerry at this point - hope she is better soon!
UGH, Well Matt's surgery still hasn't been scheduled. I was afraid this would happen... the SURGEON had said 4-5 weeks after his last chemo, to be sure he is ready, and his bone marrow is healed. The oncologist told him 2-4 weeks, so of course the kids heard that and were like YAY February... I tried to remind them that the surgeon had said later... still no word! I will remind them AGAIN that scheduling is up to the SURGEON not the oncologist! Eden will be 6 next Thursday! Time does fly!
Sue: YAY for jumping into PF so easily!! I too have been using my oils... Thieves everywhere! LOL
YES! I hear they want to replace Phil with a robot! How silly... JMHO
We are expecting crappy weather tomorrow ALL DAY into Friday! UGH! NOT what I need or want right now... worst is the freezing rain/ice that is expected. Sunday will be more snow but not enough to have to postpone the party!
Thanks, I will have to check out the Workout for Women on my tablet... to have upstairs... I had tried the yoga on the computer - but I have a difficult time working out in my living room!
COOL! I joined the Ningxia challenge, but honestly didn't read exactly what this stuff is supposed to DO for me! LOL I was thinking it was to help with stomach health... much like the Plexus that I did. This stuff is OK... and it is only Day 5... but... I think my Plexus was working better for me - but was so much more expensive! Because it was the drink each day, AND the supplements each day/night... I will continue the challenge to see what (if anything) it does for me!
How CUTE! Love the F-Bombs line! LOL I bet Hannah waasn't laughing quite like I did!

Morning Christine - YAY for sleeping good - sorry you are not any closer to the end of this darned cold! Stay the course... complete the anti-biotic... 1/2 way through is good, and yes, maybe you should be feeling better, but now is not the time to quit... keep on pushing!!
OK Running behind (again)... lunch is ready to throw in the bag - so it's all good... I will still get to work on time!
Will CBL if I can ♥hugs♥

Good morning!
DOR today and it feels good to rest a bit. It is warmer today--33 degrees--so that is good. It was a cold one yesterday! My fingertips are the worst with getting cold--they just ache. I wore two pairs of warm gloves during track yesterday and that worked! I have been home (no meetings) the last two evenings and it has felt good to be home! Still working my way through the two-dinner thing though. DH is helping...I do wonder if this is going to be he lifestyle forever or only for the sake of this one landmark run. I do know that, he does get frustrated when we go out. We will see what happens--I am keeping my mouth shut.
Carole: Thanks for starting us off today--yahoo for being so caught up with the settlements! It must make going to work a little better knowing that it isn't hanging over your head. I just found out yesterday that we have Monday off...in our area, the school districts take Lincoln's and Washington's birthday off. Some years it is a 4-day weekend and others it is two Mondays. So, this year it is two Mondays. Anyway, a short week for me next week as I fly to AZ on Thursday and have Friday off work. Wow, Eden will be 6??? I LOVE that she wants a telescope! One day last summer we saw a gentleman setting up a bunch of telescopes in the parking lot of an area where we trail run. DH and I stopped to talk to him and he was teaching his astrophotography class (he was with a community college in Sacramento). They found things in the sky with the telescope and then photographed them...what a fun class! I love that Eden is our science girl Sandwiches and a salad bar sounds great for lunch! Yes, the soup has 2 oz of bread broken into it and then, when you blend it, you don't even know it is there. I think it is how it is thickened...it is really good! With February being a short month, I guess that Matt might not have surgery until March? I am sure that they are anxious to move on through this whole thing--hope that they hear soon!

Christine: I am glad that you are finishing your antibiotics (but I am sorry that the sickness lingers) - I think that you are always supposed to finish it, right? I think that is part of the prescription. Regardless, I hope that you beat that bug soon! Has the after school daycare situation been resolved yet? Busdrivers in place? Wow, that has been a long run for you! I remember, when you first mentioned it, thinking that it was one or two weeks tops. Hope that you have a good day today!
Sue: So glad to hear that Sarah has a plan to take it easy--sounds like she is still really tired and can stick with it. What's hard is when you start to feel better and then overdo it. I would imagine that she is sleeping MUCH better at home--such a frightening experience for her though! Sounds like your PF does have classes--that is GREAT! So glad that you are seeing how to fit it in on the way home, etc. We look forward to hearing how it is going for you. Yes, the game was really exciting at the end! LOL, I was thinking of the "automatronic groundhog" you and Christine are speaking of. There was a commercial for the SB with Bill Murray and a groundhog that was so funny. I can't imagine that ONE day per year it can't continue as a tradition...crazy! Otherwise I guess no more groundhogs in zoos either? Sheesh! Hope that you have a good day and nice that Jason helps with the floors (but I am not surprised

Jenny: So glad to hear that Kerry is home and you have some help from the family with rides, etc. Heck, if needed and she feels better, Audrey can even help! Hope that she gets over her cold soon. I am still on purple and (to be honest) have been doing a lot of "mental" tracking but not so much on my app. I think about switching from purple every now and then.... we will see. Hope that you have an okay day at work--sounds like it is good to get back into routines!
Lisa: So now you wait for another position, huh? Yes, it will be good to have some work in the summer when there are not so many options. I would think that all of these connections are good to have. How is Kennedy? Back to her normal self now? I hope so!
Hello to all who follow. Need to get moving as the first meeting is at 7:30 am. Have a good day!

Good morning every one
Well starting next week I'm training at other plants around the vicinity of Salem so I can start kind of like a roving plan, it's still my same job, but just somewhere else. I really love the idea of it that way I'm not always stuck with WWOW. If another scale tech is sick or has the day off, I can go fill in for her or him. My home base is still where I work now but just once in a while it would be nice to go to the different plants and meet other people and work. What a great idea and I live in the perfect area of Salem, all the plants are with in 30 min of my house except for 1 and it's only about 40 min. WWOW lives the farthest from all the plants but she still has to rove around also, she's at a plant about 30 min Salem right now and she's not to happy about it because she just bought her Subaru last year and she's putting all these miles on it and she's retiring next year and doesn't want to use her personal vehicle to work, but hey, I guess if you want a paycheck you need to go where the work is. I used to drive all over the place for work and I personally love it except in bad weather. We will see how it goes.
Carole I'm with you, I cut the wine out, down to 10 oz a night and I'm having more trouble sleeping than usual, but I need to loose weight and start taking care of myself. This whole thing with Kerry is really scaring me, I don't ever want to have to go through what he did, and like he said he did it to himself by smoking and not loosing weight earlier in life so I figure if I start now I can ditch the high blood pressure pills when I get this weight off. Cross my fingers... I can't believe Eden is 6, where did the time go? At least she's asking for healthy food for her birthday party. Defiantly post pictures on FB
Sue have you started PF, I have, but I'm starting back full time on Monday. It's funny you mentioned a friend on the Keto diet. DH and I asked about going on that same diet to the dietician that was provided to us at the hospital, and she said it's absolutely the worse diet you can go on. All that butter and meat, cheese are prime foods that will clog your arteries long term. Yes, you do loose weight cause there's no carb's but your ramping up ability to get heart disease. She said WW is about the best lifestyle you can choose for your body, Lean proteins and vegi's, good fat's like avocado's and healthy oils, if you have points you can have anything you want in moderation.

Gabrielle it was so cold up here yesterday only 28 degree's with a wind chill, I was even cold and I never get cold, I'm always hot due to menopause, but man yesterday was horrible. Yes, Audrey can help driving if Kerry's appt are in-between school and dancing. I forgot to mention Audrey brought home all A's and 2 B's last semester for her GPA is a 3.70 now and she's so happy. The councilor told her, that her job is to keep those grades up this year and next year so she can apply for grants and scholarships and she did it. How's DS in Eugene doing? Is he enjoying his studies?
Oh another piece of information the dietician shared with us about the Keto diet, is people loose weight at a rapid speed, and you think that since you lost all the weight that your healthier, that isn't true. Just cause your skinny, doesn't mean your heathy, exercise plays an important role in loosing weight along with your diet.
Sue so glad Sarah's home and resting in her own home, there's nothing like your own bed. How's the boy's dealing with it are they helping Mom out any. I loved the story on rafting last summer and their cousin's dad dropping all the fbombs, that is hilarious like Christine said, know wander the teacher loved it, that's pretty funny.
Christine yes take all the medicine so you can get rid of this horrible stuff. I'm a little concerned about this Coronavirus, I hope they get that stopped and soon. I saw on the news this morning that a baby only hours old already has it. Horrible.
Lisa sorry about the job, hope you find one that can use your skills long term or for ever how long you want to. Glad the kid's are getting their wedding lined out, it's sounds great.
OK need to run along now, hello Shelly hope you are well.
Jenny

Evening all...finally time to catch up a little...sauce is warm, Jason just called and is on his way home so the pasta is cooking, vacuuming is done and everything is off the floor so Jason can wash the floors after he eats supper....I'm done for the night!
Time to head back to yesterday to finish catching up....
Carole...I don't mind whole wheat shaped pasta like penne, ziti or shells but only regular spaghetti and actually we prefer Angel Hair pasta. Tried the WW but we both hated it! As for Sarah being home and the boys....since the bacteria is carried in the poop (sorry, TMI) they said that as long as she washed hands and wiped down the commode when she went then it would be fine....LOL, thankfully the cafe is just down the hall from me so I don't mind warming up lunches. I'm hoping I can maybe find a buddy at some point to join me at PF...who knows, maybe I'll make a new friend there that comes the same time as me??? Who knows??? Actually, the 30 minute circuit is what was caught my eye when I was looking into joining...I used to go to Curves and loved it. At this point, I'm not joining PF to lose weight, I'm more interested in toning, gaining some muscle and strength back....if I lose weight, great but for me it's about a healthy choice.
WOW Gabrielle...you really are cold...heck even today it was "cold" and it was 32° this morning....it was about 40 when I left work and that is actually above normal still for us! Thanks for the soup recipe...sounds yummy! No, actually Josh went to work yesterday...the boys are self sufficient, she just needed to "watch the clock" so they were out waiting for the bus on time....then she was alone all day to rest until the bus came at 3:00pm. Josh might have even been home from work at that point depending how the route he had that day! Yes, PF has classes and they are all free too!! I have signed up for a core class next Tuesday.....tomorrow is my orientation.
Lisa...sorry the job ended already, hopefully something will come along soon. Would be nice if you could go back there in July, especially since it's usually a slow time for you and temp jobs. Hope the "substitute" dentist is good....yes, just go especially since it would be so long to wait to reschedule.
Hi Jenny....glad Kerry is doing well and I'm sure getting back to work is nice....a routine is pretty nice, eh? Glad your DD can take Kerry to the cardiologist. Glad he got a good report from his PCP. Sorry WWOW is being "ugly"! Hope Audrey's cold doesn't last long...no, Kerry does not need a cold.

Thanks for starting us off today Carole...I will say, for the most part I "worked it" today...got plenty of water, food choices were good, even my spaghetti wasn't too bad since the sauce was homemade and 0 points since it's only veggies....the meatballs were turkey, 93% lean beef and turkey Italian sausage so I think they were only 1 point each when I used to count, I had 3....only the Angel Hair was not the best choice but I maybe had 3/4 of a cup...will say, I had a glass of wine with dinner! Got over 10k steps too and all 9 dots on my FitBit!
Carole...hopefully you are not "grazing" and sticking to your original plan for tonight. Sounds like you might have needed the extra sleep. WOO HOO for getting all the settlements done through 1/31!! Guess going in on Saturday really helped get you caught up. Now to stay caught up. Hopefully when you are off it will not get "let go" again!
Christine....it was actually Kale that wrote the story and yes, that was pictures of the actual pages of his journal. Hannah was mortified but the teacher LOVED it....it truly did paint the perfect "picture" of the situation...OMG, it was very funny the day we went and they were so mad and frustrated. They did eventually figure it out and were fine but it was a rocky start! My question is where did he hear the term "fbomb"....it's amazing when kids hear and absorb!!
Christine...sounds like a good idea to switch to the Amoxicillin. One of my Y friends has had a sinus infection for a few weeks now and they changed her antibiotic too and put her on Prednisone as well. Glad at least you are fever free.
Carole...how cool Eden wants a telescope. The party menu sounds perfect and versatile enough that everyone can have what they want and like! I am hoping, like you and walking, that if I get in a routine at PF it will become a good habit and I too will feel better! Yes, Katie always says she loves when the water gets changed in their HT as well....
Jason just got off the phone with Sarah and she is feeling better and the stiffness is much improved. The boys are MUCH better and pretty much back to normal....
Yes Carole...the surgeon in control of time line and Matt definitely needs to wait until all the chemo is out of his system and his bone marrow and labs are back to normal. He needs to be as strong as possible when he has the surgery so the rehab is hopefully uneventful. The Ningxia is antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, etc....I like the taste and it's a perfect way to get my oils in...been Thieves and Lemongrass lately but usually it's either Copaiba and LG or Red Shot and LG when it's not germ season!! I don't think it's a pro biotic, is that what Plexus was?? I never really looked into it!
OK...back says time to switch chairs....catching up will have to continue tomorrow. Need to get my gym bag packed for PF after work. Today I drove home past PF to make sure I could get there in time to change cloth and be ready for class/orientation at 5:00pm....no problem, it takes about 13-15 minutes to get there depending on traffic. All good!
