Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Yesterday it was icy in the morning, cleared up by the time I went to work so all was ok. Then it started up again, about 15 minutes before closing. Had to scrape the ice off the windows, driving was pretty nasty. About 3 inches of snow fell overnight. Supposed to start snowing again later this morning. This is the first real snowfall this winter, and it’s February. In my area it should snow until early evening, south of us through the night. I don’t see a lot of snow days in the 10 day forecast, but this one should drop another 6 inches before over. Glad I don’t work on Fridays.
I think I mentioned I bought a set of lock n lock containers so that I can organize my cupboards. I also bought labels for them. I always wanted a cupboard that you could open up and see everything in nice containers. I want to do that in the fridge too. One of the women at WW workshop showed a picture of her fridge, lots of containers full of cutup fruits and veggies. Looked so nice. We’ll see ...
Dottie - I always enjoy reading about your day and the activities. Sounds like you have such a good time, you really keep busy.
Coffee time. I’ll bbl

Joyce, the lock and lock containers sound like a great organizational tool. Labeling them will also help you find what you are looking for. I’m glad you don’t have to get out in the snow today. Stay safe.
Ruth, one of the reasons I sent money is that both boys is that their (Feb 6 and Feb 8) birthdays are so close to Christmas and DS and DDIL and her family go way overboard for Christmas. The boys really don’t need or want any more toys or leggos this soon after Christmas. Hope you enjoyed your massage. You are so busy with Mara and everything else you do but it sounds like you are making some headway with the CBing.
My team lost our bocce game yesterday by 1 point, but we had fun. Last night was happy hour and then I went up to the clubhouse for bingo with some friends. There were several people from our condo there and we all sat together. Then another couple asked if they could join us. There were 8 of us and out of the 8 – six of us won (including me). It was a fun night being with friends. I had to go for blood tests this morning. I was concerned that the process could take some time. They registered me in the Lee County Medical System and drew my blood, all in about 15 minutes. The tech said my doctor (in Connecticut) would have the results by this evening.

Good evening all. A very lazy day here today. I needed to get downstairs and I didn’t do it. Thought I slept well last night, but apparently not. I was so tired today and just could not get myself going.
Dottie, I forgot you had talked about how overboard DDIL’s family goes with gifts for the kids with both clothes and toys. Sending money in that case makes a lot of sense. Maybe there is an “experience” that they can do and will have $$ for.
Joy, stay safe in all that snow! You should send us a picture of your cabinets when you get those containers all filled and labeled and lined up. Your cabinets will look great!!!
Dottie, you do so many fun things all winter. How many years have you been going to Florida? How many years did you go when you rented and then bought?
We have to be up early tomorrow to get to Harper’s swim meet. I’m not looking forward to trying to get up and moving and dressed and then getting Mara up, dressed, fed, and moving that early. She’s even less of a morning person than I am. Meet starts at 9, takes 30 min to get there; and we’d like to be there around 8:30 to get a decent parking spot and then get inside and get seats.
Going to read for a few more minutes and then an early bedtime. More tomorrow. Have a good Saturday all.
