This week I did my exercise. I jog in place for 15 minutes three times a day in the house.

This week was a wash because Monday I was prepping for colonscopy, Tuesday/Wed was spacey and didn't leave house. Yesterday I went to the gym, and today did not. Tomorrow will try to get to gym or walk, ditto Sunday to make up for this week.
BTW, can anyone tell me if they know anyone doing NOOM and what the hell it actually is?!?

Not much exercise...winter storm arrived...guess it has been named Karim. The electricity is coming and going this morning and the internet is wonky as a result. I have been eating more than usual and the scale is up again. I am reining it in...again...and have recorded breakfast accurately in my journal. There will be sunshine again.

I managed to have 3 cardio sessions this week. I didn’t reach my step goal at all! We’re on our way to Myrtle Beach SC for the week. We may get to see my the kids and grand children as well. Mainly going to relax. This is our first trip since my open heart surgery in June. It’s nice to get back to “normal”. Hugs to you cathygeha, surfgirl, I did Noom for a couple of months. It’s sort of like Beck . Based on the same principles of behavior modification. You track your foods and activity. Foods are color-coded red, yellow and green. I liked it but i didn’t want to pay what they were charging at the time. Lots of strategic info and nutritional information daily. I really enjoyed reading their daily tips.

My exercise has been the minimum, but it's enough to support physical function, my main goal.
Body-weight strength & flexibility exercises - every day Cardio - 1 day Lift weights and ab work - 1 day Classical Stretch video - 1 day
My furnace is making an exciting new noise, so I'm having it inspected Monday. My basement is a semi-hoarding situation; hence I had to move a bunch of items that had stacked themselves around the furnace area. I was able to throw out quite a bit and consolidate bulk cleaning products, you know, more than one half-empty container of the same item.

I have seen it advertised on Facebook and gone to the webpage on computer and app store on android. It claims to provide habit change tips, recipes, weight loss graph, digital journaling and perhaps other things. At first look it appears a bit like WW and My Fitness Pal. The negatives are that you cannot import recipes, cannot save personal foods UNLESS the company chooses to let you (so would have to input every time) and is "expensive". I think MAYBE reneinitaly, may have tried it in the past.
