Diane, yes you do have a lot of paper (envious).
Cat, y'all need to keep that cook away far away from the sweet potatoes.
It's a warm./almost down right HOT our at 56 and mostly cloudy (feels like 53)
Went to the Urgentcare and not impressed with there doc. He's not sure what I have, could be a virus or infection. So he prescribed a Z-pack for me. Seems to be working since the coughing is beginning to be a memory, hope this will do the trick.
Well guess I better get back to getting organized, have a grand afternoon. Will we get to page 3 for the third time?

It is almost time to light my candles. Have some lanterns that have batteries and a timer but still like the real candles. My kitties don't bother them at all. And I love the smell of the cinnamon one I have right now.
Off to get started on the penuchi. that is my task for the early evening and then wrap a few more packages. I may need a Santa sleigh to transport all of these.

I just got home awhile ago and turned the water on to the washer. No frozen pipe although it was frozen some as it took a bit to break lose and do more than a small stream. But it won't pump out so I have a heater aimed on where I think the pump is located. Hopefully I can go out in a bit and it will pump out. Just a very small load. Hope I don't have to hand wring it.
Ate with friends. I had fried shrimp. Their 2 specials for the day were shrimp and meatloaf. I am not a meatloaf fan and have already tried theirs and sure not a fan. The shrimp was good and the social time was great.
Then I went on and spent the afternoon with my Brother in Law and my Sis. He is doing really well and the OT came in to evaluate him and said that he just needs fine motor skills. He can't put his hearing aide in his left ear. He talks with a slur but not bad. A speech terapist will work with him on that.
Connie, I will leave sometime tomorrow. So I won't be getting the thread up although most days I will hop in during the day. I will let you know when I plan to drive back home. Then I will be leaving again till after the first of the year. So thanks for planning to start the thread.
Going out to check the washer pump again.

My daughter and I will have to make a quick trip up to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison tomorrow (150 miles 1 way). She had a doctor's appointment earlier in the month and had one scheduled for today. He said it was not necessary for her to come up today, to reschedule for January 10th. Today she got a call from her transplant coordinator that she DID need to come today or tomorrow. This appointment was for the trial that she is in, not a medical appointment. So tomorrow she has labs at 1:30 and an appointment at 3:00. This trip wasn't in the plans, but at least we don't have to drive up there in January.

Nancy in IL, safe travels. Will Waylon make the trip?
Lucy, I need to tell Bessie how to register (she is on the train). She shows as a guest. Is it at upper right when you are a guest?

Couldn't remember if I posted here this morning or not. After looking through all the posts I found I had not. I've been gone a good part of the day. Had a doc appt at 10. Having this pain in my ear/jaw. He right away knew that it was TMJ. It's an inflammation of the joint in your jaw. Sure is painful and really no cure. Have to use an anti inflammatory and do a soft diet for a couple of weeks. That should take care of the problem or at least relieve the pain.
Shortly after I got home from the doctor my friend picked me up for lunch and shopping. Had a good time as usual. Shopped a bit, had lunch and we both got our hair cut. Tired now from a busy day and I think when we have pain we are more tired. Sitting here now doing nothing.
DH gone with a friend to their union Christmas party. Good for him to get out with a friend.
Think a nap might be in the future. I am pretty sleepy. So glad to hear that Trace is feeling well enough to spend the night with a friend.

Whew! It has been a busy day. Had a fingernail appointment early then met DD for lunch. The girls' school play was at 2 p.m., so we HAD to go to that! Fun! The kids (with guidance) actually wrote and acted it.
DD's in-laws left for home after the performance. They have been visiting since Friday, and have been a real help while the kids were dealing with the accident and tow.
We all went for ice cream after the performance. I thought I'd stop into Wal-Mart, but found the parking lot full. I just came on home.
I think our temperature reached a high of 35 today. Tomorrow we are supposed to get up to 40 at least and stay there during the daytime hours for several days.
The girls are going to be with us the remainder of the week. Oh, yes, the daycare is going to have the older kids perform their portion of The Nutcracker at a local church on Thursday morning. Glad the girls are going to be able to show what they have learned.
Goodnight! See y'all tomorrow! --Molly

Dianne, I pray everything works out and the insurance approves for your DS. It is terrible that the insurance has more say than the doctors.
Time to get off here and read. Goodnight everyone. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bit.
