Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddd, Just.Like.That... it's Monday again! MOVE IT MONDAY... With everyone back to work today (hopefully) I should be able to MOVE away from my desk more - we'll see!
Looks to be a few inches of snow out there... probably no school, but not enough to keep me home, I'm sure!
Party yesterday was good - I stuck with my plan of salad only - no bread/croissants... until the end of the day - I enjoyed a croissant while picking up at the end of the day! :-( BUT I guess I call it a WIN, because I only had the one? Yes, for me that would be a WIN I think! I also stayed away from most of the "Snacks" so all in all I think I managed pretty well! I didn't get enough water - but will work on that today!
Need to refill my coffee, and catch up ♥

Gabrielle: Hope your meeting was informative for you. YAY for time with DS25 ♥ Good career move for him to volunteer to see what might suit him best... Eeekk, AZ is this weekend! WOO HOO!!! Sunny - Hot - Dry??
LOL Yes... I need the sleep - but then I too get anxiety about what's not done! It was fine... everything got done - it usually does... I was still doing dishes when Auntie came in - but Eh, she knows I do dishes! LOL She sat in the kitchen chatting while I finished up - and we got the island "set"
I agree - WHEN I make the time to investigate fully, purple should work for me. It will "limit" the extra things I may eat/drink just because I have points!
Matt goes this Tuesday (?) for his pre-op appointment with the surgeon, to get his instructions... then Wednesday (?) He has a phone call with the anesthesiologist... I think It's this week, maybe next... honestly with so much going on yesterday I forget which week he said!
HE was told "about 7 days"... the usual has to meet certain criteria in order to leave... so we won't know the EXACT time frame until after surgery and they see how he's doing.
Yes Sue, the Real ID is a Federal thing... and as of this October I think, you can't fly without a Real ID or passport... regular license will not get you on a flight any longer! Apparently even Federal buildings... like if we went to Denver Mint or some such place... Anyway... I figured it was the easiest thing to do - so I have what I need! Not sure I'll renew my passport... if I have this Real ID.
Jenny: Glad you could drive Audrey to the game... hope it went well for her! Were you able to go into the game to watch??
Christine: So glad Linds is feeling more settled in her assignment and such... makes us Mamas happy when the kids are happy! Meeting the new family was fine... not as awkward as I feared... one son kept pretty close to the father... the other one opened up more with others. The father barely said 2 words, but maybe next time he will be more open... there was a LOT going on in this house! OY VEY! Eden was allowed to invite 1 friend, so three girls can make some noise - I tell you that! LOL WHEW!
LOL Sue - Thanks for the reminder... THAT is what did NOT get done... we made HB eggs for deviled eggs, and I forgot to make them! Oh well, HB eggs are ready for the week I guess!

OK Time to get moving... need to get the car cleaned off - and get it to the dealer... wish I had done it Friday now! UGH! February weather is so UNPredictable!
Think we are doing pasta and Italian Chicken Sausage for supper... higher in points due to pasta ( haven'[t shopped for WW yet) and the canned sauce... but it will be a ZERO Point day and lots f water - leading to dinner!!
Might be back later ♥hugs♥

Good morning, I think we would all agree-- a 3-day weekend every week would be a great thing. I can't believe how much more I can get done. Today, in addition to getting our official birth certificates and my marriage license from the Recorder's Office for the REAL ID appt at the end of the month, I have hours of work-work to do....but I don't mind because I can do it at home. Such a difference! DH is leaving in the truck for AZ early on Wednesday and will spend the night on the way--I fly out at 3:00 pm on Thursday. Where we are running is high desert so the temps are low of 43, high of 56 which is perfect to me. A slight chance of rain, but it's all good. There is a HUGE group going from our team--about 20 people running so it will be a fun trip! I need to make my lists today though to be sure that we have what we need. A group of us are staying at an airbnb and we are fixing a pasta dinner for those who can make it on Friday evening (very early since the run starts early on Saturday). Enough about me though...
Carole: Sounds like you did great yesterday on many levels! Sounds like Eden had a good time (glad that she could invite a friend ; it sounds like Jaclyn's family fit in fine--you all (the Halls) are such a welcoming group that I can't imagine they wouldn't; and you did a great job planning what you were going to eat---a great day!! So, it must feel good going to work today and being caught up, right? I would think so! One of the things I am doing today will be GREAT when it is done. Trying to imagine how good that will feel to inspire myself to get it done. Is it snowing there? We have been so dry for weeks now....the season started so rainy but, hopefully, we will catch up as the season moves on. Wow, Matt's surgery, etc are going to be here before we know it! I wonder if they will need to "overhaul" their cupboards....toss out a bunch of stuff and fill it with different foods? I know that you can't suggest that, but I do wonder about how it will all go after the surgery--you are a great example for them! Hey, how about you and others offer to provide them with meals when he gets home? Even if they are not for Matt, but for the family, it might help kick it off? They are so fortunate to have you there to help with Zoe, do whatever they need, etc. Hope that you have a good day, everyone is there, and you leave still feeling on top of things.

Sue: Sounds like you had a great weekend! That PA sausage must be pretty amazing for Karen to want to take some home with her.... sounds like you have really done a great job of prepping for the week. I need to HB some eggs as well. So, did you pay $1.10/gal for gas or was that your discount? I had a "mini celebration" for paying $3.45/gal in California-- we always pay almost $4.00/gal here. Another paint night this week? That will be fun. A friend just did one and posted her pick...it looks like Little Red Riding Hood (from the back) walking into a snowy wood. Very pretty. What will you be painting? You are going to need a gallery soon! Hope that Sarah continues to feel stronger and that you have a good beginning of your week...BTW, thank you, yes, DS20 will be more inclined to "listen" as he gets older Hope that your PF class goes well!
Christine: Thanks for the lead--I am going to look for that chili recipe as I have all of the ingredients (it sounds like) and I need to use up some zucchini. Hope that Linds has a smooth, weather-free trip back to school. It's so nice to be that close to home! Yay for feeling so better with the right antibiotic! It's so great when they get it right. Hoping that your foot continues to feel good (and your back) and that you and Colby can get your walks in...a nice way to end the day!
Jenny: How fun to watch Audrey dance at OSU! Nice that the kids can be on a college campus too-- is that the university that she wants to attend one day? I always get UofO and OSU mixed up! How is DH doing? Getting stronger? So happy for you and you both plan your journey to better health--what a great example you are setting for Audrey too! Do you start your travelling to other plants today?
Lisa: Hope that you get another job soon....
Shelly: Hope that you are doing well!
Okay, need to go. I need to get my short TM workout in (part of the pre-run taper). Tomorrow morning, since I don't have track and I have a shorter TM run, I will do my run and do the Body Pump class at the gym. I can't do it on Thursday (to much going on as I take my suitcase to work so that I go directly to the airport). I am glad to get that class in once/week but am making twice/week my goal (hoping to add in Tuesday evenings). Hope that you all have a good day today!

Good Morning everyone
Yes 3 day weekends are perfect for me, I love working 4 10's it is really great. Audrey's Company dance group did so great yesterday at the game, and yes, we did get to watch all of the game also, even though they lost it was a close game the whole time. Corvallis is about 30 min from my house so not to far. I imagine during football season it take a lot longer especially when both the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers have a home game the freeways get really packed. I posted her dance videio on FB along with some pictures I got. DH is doing really well, he saw his cardiologist on Friday and the swelling in his leg where they took the veins from is still a little sensitive but they gave him lasics a water pill to help the swelling go down. This week he goes to cardiac rehab to start an excerzie program and see what his heart can handle. Were still looking into a plant based diet, my cookbooks should be here today, I hope, so we can try some new reicipies. I start my training this week and to tell you the truth, I'm excited, I don't have to look at WWOW for a whole week, she's on her own at my normal plant. I go to Corvallis Tue, Wed and Thurs then back to my normal plant on Friday, WWOW day off, YEAH!!!
OK gotta run for now have a great day everyone
Jenny

Evening all...home from PF...feel accomplished!! Did 20 minutes on the bike and pedaled a little over 2.5 miles....then did some of the upper body machines and finished the night with a hydro-massage....it's only 10 minutes but feels so good....hopefully it will help keep from me getting too sore. Met a woman there who was also waiting for the other hydro-massage bed and we were chatting about how I'm doing a core class tomorrow. She didn't know about it and asked me "the newbie"! LOL! Anyway, I went in a minute or so before her and when she came out afterwards, she said "I signed up for the core class....see you tomorrow"!! Maybe I might have a work out buddy after all. Don't even know her name but I'm sure I will find out tomorrow!
Thanks for starting us off Carole...and yes, "just like that, it's Monday"! Why do weekends go so quickly. Hope everyone was back so you could add a few steps in your day! Guess no walk from the garage to the bank today thanks to the snow! Bummer! Glad the party went well yesterday and you stuck to your plan! Yes, I would say enjoying the croissant while you picked up at the end of the day is a WIN....you could have had a sandwich and then had another....celebrate the changes in your choices!! You did great! Glad meeting the new family wasn't too awkward...I'm sure with each time they visit the dad and other brother will be more open....sounds like the one is the "social butterfly" of the family! LOL...I can only imagine how much noise the girls made...I know what it's like with the boys!! The volume is deafening!
Yes Carole...we knew that October was the deadline for Real ID for flying but we both have birthdays prior to that, and both need to get our licenses renewed so we just waited until we needed to get our license renewed since PA is one of the states that your license is a Real ID...not all states are. We plan to travel out of the country, and cruise so we will have to have a passport....Real IDs do not count for international travel.
Oh Gabrielle...I would LOVE a 3 day weekend....but alas, that would never be my schedule unfortunately. I just need to wait for retirement, then I have a 7 day weekend! LOL! Does a CA license count as a Real ID?? I thought most states were compliant....I know it took PA a while to get their act together, that's why we didn't rush to pay $40 for the Real ID when if we waited for our license it would be only $30.50....thankfully they got all the bugs worked out before we needed one. The weather for your run sound perfect! WOW, that is a bunch of people from your running team! How fun!!

Yes Gabrielle, the PA sausage is awesome...I will say, I was always a bacon girl but when I tried this, especially done on the grill so it's not too greasy....I'm a sausage girl. It reminds most people around here of the stuff families made years ago when they butchered the hogs....some versions are better than others but will say our grocery store recipe is pretty darn yummy! We always bring several packages with us over Labor Day and when they come down we snag a couple more for them to bring home with them. You can't get it in New England. When David comes up from NC we always have a big breakfast one day and that is a MUST for him too!
I saved $1.10/gallon on gas yesterday Gabrielle...around here gas prices are hovering around $2.49....it was up closer to $3.00 around the holidays but has slowly come down. Hoping it stays down for our trip to MA in April....you never know....some times it can fluctuate 40¢ in a couple days....it's crazy!
This week is the couples paint night....it's a lighthouse on one painting with a ship heading toward the lighthouse on the other....I'll find a picture....this will be our Valentine's Day date....dinner before we paint! It will be fun...Jason is a little nervous about this one but he'll be fine!
Yes...I noticed the change in our "member" status the other day....not sure when it changed??? I'm Legendary too!
Jenny...I am jealous of your 4 10 hour days! Glad the girls did great at the game....did we have any doubts here?? Nope! So glad Kerry is doing well...I think he will be surprised what his heart can handle now that he's had his by-pass...I know my dad was!! YAY for a week without the WWOW....did they say how often you would be working out of the other plants??
Time to put my feet up for a bit....waves Shelly, Lisa, Christine and all to come...hope everyone had a great day!! Want to get my gym bag packed tonight so I don't need to worry about it in the morning!

Just stoping in for a quick minute. I have to be at work early in the morning g. My guy that goes in early is having surgery tomorrow so I get to be the one to go in and set stuff up. I’ve been trying to get her but my day seems to slip away and I’m asleep before I know it. So sorry I need to figure something out and get her more often.
Light snow started this afternoon. Thought it would’ve stopped by now but still falling. Not that we have that much but hoping the temp don’t fall to much. Besides having to be at work early I probably need to give myself a little extra time to get to work.
Made my WO today. I felt pretty good but kinda feeling like I needed to give it a little more. I’m worried of getting hurt again especially since I have no idea what I did to cause my back/sciatica. I still feeling like I have a bit of inflammation and I definitely don’t want to go backwards.
Sorry no personals tonight. Heading to bed and hoping I don’t oversleep in the morning. Hope to be back tomorrow
