Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Had a good day yesterday. It snowed a bit, so I earned some steps by walking the shovel again. Is was the light fluffy snow, looked beautiful coming down. Went to the Y in the afternoon to walk the track. By end of day I had over 10,000 steps. Looks like Sunday will be my high walking day.
Vegetarian chili for dinner at work this week. I didn’t struggle with my eating this past weekend, first time in a long time. Feels good. It’s a rainy morning so I’ll exercise at home today.
Dottie - glad you had fun at the Woodstock party. Hope the vanity top install goes well tomorrow.
See ya tomorrow

Good morning all. Just a quick post as I need to get moving! A few chores this morning. Then a couple quick errands on the way to my pedicure/haircut appt. After he drops me off, Stan will take Mara to meet up with DIL. Then I’m hoping he will stop at Target and pick up Sudafed for me and then pick up ingredients for an OP dinner.
Joy, great news on the 10,000 steps and the new girl working out so well. Nice to have competent help who may be there a while! You are doing so great on your CB’ing of the basement and the extra weight!!
Dottie, interesting that you just stayed for short visits and then decided to buy. Kind of like we did with our timeshare. But you get to stay the entire winter. At this point, Stan just doesn’t want a 2nd home to worry about. But we may stay there a little longer in the future.
Ok, need to go get dressed and get moving. Then get Mara up. I’m letting her sleep in this morning (which is what she prefers to do) so that she will nap later once she gets home with mommy. I’m sure her DM will appreciate a nap too.
Have a great OP day.

Joyce, good going on the 10,000 steps. Enjoy your vegetarian chili. I took some chili out of the freezer yesterday and we plan on having it for lunch. There isn’t enough for dinner but will make a nice lunch.
Ruth, even though we only visited for short visits we participated in some of the activities and met quite a few people. Since your travel to and from Hawaii is expensive and long I think staying longer would make sense since you have the accommodations. Enjoy your pedicure and haircut.
I have accomplished a lot this morning already. The bed has clean sheets on it. I vacuumed all the rugs and cooked 2# of bacon. I cook the bacon in the oven on a baking sheet. It isn’t hard but need to stay close so I don’t forget about it. We had some tomatoes from a farmer’s market last week and they were good so decided to get some bacon so we can have BLTs.
