Good morning weight watcher friends. Can't believe we hit 5 pages last week. We were 'extra talkative' and I enjoyed reading each and every word Woke up to 'winter wonderland' out there. Temperature is 35 which is normal when we have snow on the ground. Hard to say how much is out there. I'll let Carl deal with it LOL. Nothing much on my agenda for today. Need a few things at Hannaford...but nothing that I can't live without! Tomorrow is my hair cut/color. Man do I need it! Seems like my hair grows like a weed these days...not so much in length but in thickness and in all the wrong places Wishing y'all a good OP day. I need to hit reset button. My pasta fest was a tad 'over the top' Take care.......will CBL

Hi all,
I am home sick today. Unfortunately, I seem to have caught what several of my coworkers have. Sore throat and cough and achy body. Ugh. I’ll check in later. I’m resting in the recliner after a long night of coughing. I am taking Emergen-C and Cold-Eeze tablets. I’ll bbl

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
I made it through my first day back and grocery shopping on the way home. I had a list in my phone of items from Meijer and all were in a straight line, so I got 'er done. DH was very low on Egg Beaters and tomorrow is his morning to cook, so that prompted me. While there I got everything else I needed and a couple of things that maybe I didn't, but will come in handy. I had the thought of making a pot of Turkey 3-Bean Chili later this week, so bought the meat for that. I think I have all the beans, but if not it is easy to stop as Meijer is right on my way home from school.
It was nice to be back today and the kids were all glad to see me! So were some of my teachers, though the ones I'm close to had been texting me while I was at home anyway. I wasn't too tired afterward, but knew I had to shop, so maybe I pushed myself a bit. I think I will go take about an hour's rest before we go out to eat.
Judy ~ So sorry to hear that you are sick! Just like Ann always says, it is better for people who are sick to stay home and not bring their germs to work with them. Hope this is short-lived for you!! {{HUGS}}
Ann ~ I can so relate to hair that grows in thickness and in all the wrong places - I have the same issue! But some of the ladies at my salon have painfully thin hair and are always envious of mine, so I have learned to just "smile and nod".
Pam ~ Hope Monday is treating you well.
OK, now I really AM going to go take a rest before dinner. Wishing you all well.

Sue so happy your first day back was a success. Good for you getting grocery shopping done on your way home. I hope you have the beans for your chili.
I made it to Hamnafords finally. Picked up what we needed and then some. They had chicken tenders on sale so a package came home with me. They are separated sealed and frozen. I have enough leftovers for a few days
I also took a hood walk. Would have walked longer but it's just too messy out there.
I had to lol at your hair comment. Most people I know have fine straight wispy hair...the kind I always wanted. Then I hear my mom's voice saying "be careful what you wish for" lol.
Enjoy your nap.

Hi all,
My pulmonologist has me on two prescriptions. I am too darn vulnerable to pneumonia and bronchitis. Feeling like my head could explode and the cough is bad. Luckily, this will pass!! I just don’t want my DH to get it . I sure do wish sick people would have enough sense to stay home. Four of us now have this! I’m just taking it easy and reading and I slept nearly all day. I enjoyed reading your posts. Ann, we had no snow. Sue, I’m sure you were missed! Hi Pam!
I watched Harlan Cobin’s Netflix series The Stranger. Riveting!

That has always been a pet peeve of mine. It's really not rocket science...if you are sick stay home. I surely pray you don't pass this on to DH. Enjoy your series. I love his books

Hi there ~ We're back home. We both had the Hickory Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger for supper and it was absolutely delicious! Messy, but when I switched from fingers to fork and knife it was much better and tasted just as good. I had only had yogurt and berries for breakfast with a bit of Fiber One and a Premier Protein shake for lunch, so I was hungry and had plenty of SP left over. Last night there was nothing on TV that we cared to watch, so I convinced DH to check out Amazon Prime and we watched a movie "Book Club" with tons of stars in it (Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergman, Andy Garcia, Craig T. Nelson and Don Johnson). It was a hoot and we both enjoyed it very much! Has anyone seen it?? Judy ~ Feel better!! Time to settle in for the night. Talk tomorrow.

Your burger has me drooling Sue. I often have to eat burgers with a knife and fork. Glad I'm not the only one.
Yes I did see that movie and we enjoyed it.
Another one we liked was Little Italy. Just a light fun flick.
Sleep well all.

Good evening friends!
I slept until 8:00 this morning and it felt SO good! It was laundry day, of course, and in between loads, I did a few small cleaning and sorting tasks. It was a gloomy, rainy day, but 70's warm. Every time I noticed the rain had stopped and I attempted to at least walk the driveway, it started up again. I told DH I was a rain magnet, lol.
I contacted my hospice family and surprisingly, was able to make a visit this afternoon, after being refused the past 2 weeks. We had a good visit and I hope I was able to help, at least a little. The patient is much less agitated, thank goodness. She had just had her bath when I arrived and she slept through most of my visit. Her husband and I had a nice, long chat.
I arrived at yoga class later than usual, and to my great surprise, the room was nearly full. We usually have 4-6 people, but with me and the person who came in after me, we had an even dozen. It was a good class and I will sleep well tonight, I'm sure, especially with nice, clean sheets.
DH and I have been enjoying all the Oscar-winning movies on TCM this month. Tonight is Stage Coach with John Wayne, Andy Devine, Thomas Mitchell (Scarlet O'Hara's father in Gone with the Wind) and John Carradine. I love old movies!!! I will check out Book Club and Little Italy. We also watched one called Ghost Town on Prime the other night that was cute.
Judy - I'm so sorry to hear you are sick! Good plan to let your doctor know right away. I'm adding you to my prayer list for a speedy recovery.
Sue - Sounds like your first day back at work was good. At least you didn't have to cook dinner after your long day.
Ann - Enjoy your cut and color tomorrow. That always perks me up. Nothing like looking our best!
I'm going to finish watching the movie, then get a shower and jammies and read a bit before bed.

Back home from the salon and waiting for my soup to heat up. Very hungry LOL. Miss LuLa came home with 2 medications. Proviable 1 capsule once a day and Metronidazole 1/2 tablet every 12 hours. Her food needs to be bland. Sherry did a nice job. My next appointment is on St. Patrick's day...what do y'all think of me going green Later
