My weekly goals are to keep tracking my food, getting back to exercising once I'm over my cold, getting to my WW meeting next week, keeping up with my online support groups, and meditate. My me time is my puzzle, computer, and meditation time.

Open floor: Lunch at my house delayed till next week...that is fine with me as roads may be closed and it is COLD in our house.
Weekly goals: Get back, truly back, on track...tomorrow (not today as I might celebrate my birthday by going out...if there is a heated restaurant to go to)
Me-time: Will be reading...and staying warm while reading.

Goals: Track every morsel as accurately as possible; earn fit points every day; stay within 🔵 range most days. It’s difficult to do while on vacation.
Hubby is preparing some meals so there’s some damage control here. We’ll be dining out this evening. We’re trying to refrain from eating out for every meal since we can’t control the sugar, salt and fat contents.
We walked 2.5 miles on the beach yesterday. So today will be a gym day for me. I’d love to get home without gaining weight. 😁

Our tax man said we don't have to come in this year, can just drop taxes off to him. Yay! I don't care for him (our former preparer was like a family member) so the less I see of this guy the better. DH was on a kick to replace the water heater now (after refrigerator and furnace issues), but I said I need a break from home maintenance issues. He just did a generic google of water heaters and it said their max lifespan is 12 years. Ours is 13 yrs. old. Then he looked up our particular model and it had a much longer estimate of working years. Thank goodness. Goals: More cardio, meditate every day. More on plan days. Me-time: reading, exercising, tv watching and meditating. Good thing my me-time matches up with my goals, mostly.

lani, we got an electric heater and we love it. Small, won't burst and flood wherever it is placed, and more economical. I highly recommend them! bbbearsmom, what do you think about switching our Weekly goals/Me Time topic to Mondays? That way we have the entire week to reflect on them? I know Tuesday is only one day in, but it feels like "I hardly have any week left!" Maybe I'm just getting old too fast! Goals: Get back OP with tracking & gymming. There's a golden retriever I'm in love with in my hood, Gracie. I started walking again just to go visit her during the day. I want to leave her owners a note asking if I can walk her, but they'd probably think I'm a weird o! Me Time: Online time, reading at night. I need to get back to meditating, I've totally lost that straw.

surfgirl, Right now I like having a topic on Monday. But I'll think about it. We start the review in two weeks, how about we do the new schedule when we come out of the review in April? I'll make a note about it.

I never watched that show, but yes, it's a tankless water heater. It runs water through to heat rather than having a hulking tube of water that has to constantly be heated up and often breaks and floods basements and garages. Ours is about 2' x 18" or thereabouts. Fits neatly onto a garage wall and there is no chance of flooding, and it's economical and more environmentally friendly since it's only heating up when you run hot water.
ETA: We also have a Quiet Cool Whole House Fan in our attic that when turned on, pulls cool outside air into the house to cool it. So much cheaper than running a/c and less energy, and doesn't cost much over the course of a summer.

surfgirl, What do you do when the outside air is hot? Oh, I forgot, Southern California cools down at night except when there are the winds off of the desert.

surfgirl, first of all you need to see Breaking Bad! Only if you like dark satirical stuff. DH was researching the tankless units on line (he admitted it was not an extensive search) and he said you can only use one thing at a time? I will do some research myself.

Did you ever watch Nurse Jackie? That was dark comedy!
Nope, you can run the washing machine while washing dishes, or run two showers at the same time.
