Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning Joyce and Ruth. Hope you both have a good day. Missed you yesterday Ruth.
Busy day today. I couldn’t sleep so I have been up since 5. So far I’m feeling fine but I’m sure a nap will feel good this afternoon. I have Mahjong at 1 and sometimes we play till 4 but I think I will head out about 3. We are going out to dinner with another couple so at least I don’t have to cook tonight. Yesterday I went to the store but left my credit cards at home, I don’t carry much cash, so didn’t get much. Need to head out today and pick up a few things and a prescription at Walgreens.

Good morning,
WW workshop at noon today. Other cashier will be there but doesn’t think she did well.
The stye in my eye is going away nicely. It really hurt just to blink on Monday, was red yesterday and today looks almost gone. Warm compresses helped a lot.
Have a load of laundry going. It’s cold and sunny outside? Think I’ll go for a short walk. Supposed to get freezing rain, then snow overnight. Expecting about 4 inches. Not a lot, but enough to cause problems for morning rush hour. Temps are going to drop significantly tomorrow. Might be the last chance for an outside walk for a while. Trying to get my 8K steps in every day, lots of office walking when it quiets down. I can already feel my stamina building again.

Good afternoon. Didn’t realize I hadn’t checked in yesterday. It was a weird, off kilter day the entire day. I finally had gotten to sleep, then awoke about 1:30 and could not get back to sleep, so got up about 2:15 and read until 5:15. Then back to bed where I woke up about 10:15. So breakfast was almost lunch, lunch was out and late, dinner was a grilled cheese sandwich about 7:30 after we had picked Mara up. Whole day just totally messed up. Thankfully I slept better last night after a Wild 4-0 win over the Golden Knights.
I have laundry going right now. Almost ready to fold and put away. I did a couple loads yesterday, last load with clothes we wore yesterday got done today.
Mara is napping upstairs, DH & Maggie napping in here. I’m going downstairs (FINALLY) after I fold the laundry. I want to get the bins set up in the storage room and then start filling them. Need to label them so I know where everything goes.
Our weather was nicer yesterday. Sunny but a damp cool. Today no sun, a few snow showers this morning. Wind is to come up, then temps are to drop and it’s to be -8 by tomorrow morning. Thankfully we shouldn’t have to go out until about 2:00 tomorrow afternoon to return Mara. Cold Friday also but I’m going to go help a WW friend work on cleaning and tossing stuff. They are selling their house and going RV’ing full time in June. Alaska will be their first destination. Then they want to be campground hosts in the Pacific Northwest and other places. Always easier to help someone else sort and get rid of stuff.
Mara has dance tonight. Think we are taking her, not sure if her daddy is coming to dance with her or not. Think it depends on how tired he is and how the roads are because it’s a 30+ min trip for him to get there. He has to run home from work, feed dogs & let them out, then head out across town. And then he doesn’t get dinner until he gets home about 7:45 or so. DIL is working tonight.
Ok, I need to get moving. Have a good day all.
