How are you doing with having fruit or veggies at every meal?

I don't have fruits or veggies at breakfast. I do have three servings of fruit over the course of the day, and a big veggie salad at dinner.

I am going to add that I had gone on a psych med that led me to lose my appetite for fruits and veggies years ago. It led to me gaining my weight back the second time. This time (third time losing weight) I had to teach myself to eat fruit and veggies again to do the plan. I still don't eat a wide variety of fruits and veggies.

I had it as a goal for 100 days and did well - fruit and/or veg at every meal...lost that momentum but still hit it more days than not.
I have started tracking fruit/veg and other exchanges and will be having fr/v at every meal in the future.

I have fruit for breakfast every day on my oatmeal: banana, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries. I have spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes in an omlette almost every day for lunch. Dinner will have a vegetable component. I have switched to vegetarian pizza on Friday pizza night.

bbbearsmom , , vegetarian doesn't mean vegan. At least in pizza world. Still has the cheese, just vegetable toppings. I used to be a pepperoni girl. They will pry the cheese out of my cold, dead hands!

I have fresh fruit in my oatmeal too, though I haven't been eating breakfast daily lately. I usually eat an egg beaters omelet for lunch, stuffed with fresh spinach. And dinner always have either steamed veggie side, or that plus a salad. Also, I'm trying to mainly eat a piece of fresh fruit for dessert when I'm hungry after dinner.

I enjoy banana or blueberries on my oatmeal, I have omelettes fiiled with peppers. Mushroom spinach or onions, or I enjoy a banana on my cold cereal or on my PB2 sandwich.
Lunch is usually salad with added olives, beets, and carrots w/ marinated red onions or homemade chicken noodle soup with mixed steamed veggies and a piece of fruit.
Dinner is always accompanied by at least 2 servings of vegetables (steamed or sautéed broccoli, carrots, butternut squash, asparagus, Corn, and whatever else my husband feels like cooking.)
Lately, if I feel like having something sweet after dinner I'll have some black/red grapes or a clementine.
