THIRSTY THURSDAY - Goal is 110+ oz today, as that's what I drank yesterday! My day was fully tracked - I used points but got my purple dot! I have to say - (this week) has not been hard sticking to the plan... I just need the time to make THE PLAN! Tonight is leftover chicken and salad - we also have rice and potatoes leftover so we'll be fine!
Lunch will be my usual salad, with chicken... breakfast is HB eggs. If I am not hungry, those get added to my salad! LOL There are seriously some days where I do not eat until lunchtime!
Now to get caught up... ♥

Good Morning ~ woke to snow falling as expected. All good - only 3-5 inches called for but hoping this time the weather forecast is right! lol Last Saturday they predicted 'scattering of snow' which ended up being a real whopper of a snowfall!! It is February and to be expected. Carole - are you getting your share of this white stuff? Toss in there some 'wintery mix' of ice/rain/snow and yep, welcome to WINTER Had a rough Off Plan evening. Again. Need to stop stop stop that drift away from my Purple plan here. Did earn 8 APs yesterday just from all the walking and climbing stairs at work. Still testing at work. I REALLY need to finish but so many students have been out Sick with the Flu. Or taken out of school for a mid-winter Cruise with their parents or grandparents. Ugh. I'm about ready to throw in the towel here... I wish someone would take ME on a mid-winter Cruise! Warm balmy beaches sound pretty good right now when I look outside LOL

Sue: YAY for getting the most out of your WOs!! Yes, it is a "good" hurt... you'll be fine in a week or so... LOL Yes, probably not many people working out on Valentine's Day! Ahhh, yes... the scale... well glad it's not all about the number on the scale anymore! You are getting healthier - that's what matters now!
Gabrielle: Seriously? A "true" DOR for you?? I bet you get enough movement in a normal day that it would FEEL like exercise to most of us! LOL Soooo, how was your night "home alone"?? How did Ed do traveling alone?? How far a drive is it? Are you driving back with him Sunday/Monday?
Then off to Monterey?? No time for you to rest your weary bones/muscles!! Hopefully you don't have to make the 5 hour drive alone!
LOL Yes I am doing better on the PURPLE PLAN! I admit to not measuring any of my veggies - I track them, but do not truthfully know how many ounces of lettuce is in my salad every day! I still weigh my chicken and of course cheese (when I use it), anything with points I will measure... but the salad - eh, I don't think I will ruin my plan by eating too much salad! Someday I will get adventurous and try new recipes!
Heard from Tim, that they got the telescope put together - and my girl LOVES it! She is so excited to be able to look at the stars and planets!

Did well with my WATER yesterday and will aim to do same again today. I'm finding in the school certain Brita stations are much colder then the one available near my Office So, extra steps and movement to enjoy colder water is a good goal. Oh, by the way, I still have not moved to the NEW office DL had them build for me. No word from anyone if the space is even finished and honestly, I've been way too busy with Testing since end of January to even give it a thought. My foot is doing 'okay'. I wear my custom made orthotics inside my SAS support shoes every single day. They really help. I switch to my winter Sperry boots for walks outside, to and from my car (it's a large campus and longer walk to staff Parking lot), and most evenings if we go out to run errands I'll wear my boots. Inside the house I ALWAYS wear my arch support slippers. So for winter wear I've been set. I am getting a bit worried for what to wear come Spring but I'll cross that bridge next month if and when this snow clears LOL DH is sick with the same head cold I battled all of January. Hoping he gets it under control before it turns worse like mine did - I'm still taking the antibiotic and will finish it Friday night. It really made the difference! I keep forgetting the inhaler but then, I don't feel like I really need it. Tracked my day. Will pack leftovers for lunch. The Italian Turkey sausage, peppers, zucchini over whole wheat penne pasta has been good! Dinner will be enchiladas - Gabrielle thanks for the great idea to use my Mexican chicken dish/chili as a filler vs pulling out more meat and starting from scratch.

Mornin' Christine - We too woke to several inches of snow... lots of cancellations around here and delays... not the bank of course - but that's OK, no buses in my way today! OH yes, it should turn to "wintry mix" by 9 AM! OK GF, time to reel it in! Back to PURPLE PLAN today! YAY you for getting APs during your day. My best day was Saturday (cleaning and prepping for Sunday) I earned 8, since then, it has gradually decreased each day! I need to find a way to add movement to my work day!
UGH... Ya' know, I kept seeing friends on FB posting pics of pre-vacation vacations! Wondering WHY? I mean I get it, school vacation lines are terrible, but MAN... taking kids out of school the week BEFORE vacation - just seems wrong? I am too "old school" I guess...
Ahhh, THAT sounds like a nice "reunion" for us girls... a mid winter cruise! LOL Except... ummm... that cruise that everyone was/is quarantined? YIKES!
Glad you found winter footwear... I can give a ringing endorsement to my Vionic sandals and flip flops... but then you said someone told you NO to Vionic? If I remember correctly? I am sure you'll find something cute out there with arch support you can wear. I actually wore my Vionic flip flops all day Sunday - life saver for me! My sister commented on being "barefoot" and cold... but I really wasn't, and the flip flops feel GOOD on my feet!
Weird there is an office built for you - but you aren't in it yet! Hopefully you can move in this spring/summer when things calm down a bit for you?
UGH Sorry DH is sick now... maybe get him to Dr before it turns worse? Glad yours didn't get to the point you needed the inhaler!
YAY for leftovers - here too!
OK Gotta get moving - time to clean off the car and hopefully get to work on time! Boss will be late (again) - she has to take her daughter to school, so instead of being in at 7:30, she will be in around 9! I think we won't see her at all since her school is cancelled today - but we'll see!
Remember your water today ladies ♥hugs♥

Morning Carole, Christine and all to come....by the time I got home last night I was not in the mood to even look at a computer so I went to the recliner and was asleep in minutes....not sure why I was so tired, it was only 8:00pm. Oh well, it happens.
OK...today, I can barely move....yesterday more muscles started to ache and even rolling around in bed hurts. Will say I did not sleep soundly last night despite the fact I was asleep early.
Tonight will meet Jason for a "romantic Valentine's dinner" in the food court at the market before painting! LOL! Last time we did a couple's night it was only 6 couples...this one SOLD OUT so it will be 15 couples! Lacey is so excited to actually "sell out" a couple's paint....it's usually 5-8 couples.
Will be MIA tonight....have a great day all!
Oh BTW, Sarah has Influenza B....the one NOT in the flu shot!! That poor kid can't win!!

Good morning ladies!
Just finished my last "shake out" run on the TM---ready for AZ! The coach called last night and we talked a bit about the course, etc. He is not about winning, but about feeling good at the end and feeling like I challenged myself. It's all good. A coworker is picking me up to take me to work and DM will drive me to meet the other couple flying at the same time to AZ...they are taking me with them to the airport and then DH and I will drive home together on Sunday. We love a road trip! It's about a 12 hour drive so we will stop over on Sunday night at my sister's in Studio City--it will be fun! Monday is a holiday at work so will drive home on that day. It's getting real now!
Carole: Good job sticking with your plan! LOL about tracking the veggies....I doubt that any of us got to where we are with our weight by eating too many veggies (at least I can speak for myself!) I am conscious of potatoes and how much I eat but LOVE that they are zero points. It was a nice, calm evening. DH is a good partner--usually in a good mood and easy to be around. The only anxiety we have had is over the vegan diet--I like to fix our meals and he is not a "planner" so it is always a conversation trying to figure out what he wants to have. Hoping he tones it all down at some point. We will see! He drove pretty far last night, spent the night at a hotel, and will check in to the airbnb later today. We will all get there at about 7:00 pm (AZ is one hour ahead of CA). Oh I love hearing about Eden and her telescope! That app that my friend told me about is called "Skyview" and you can find constellations using the "camera" on your phone. I wonder if that would help her to identify things? I'm just to happy for her! Hey, next time you come with Eden to visit, we'll go visit our local observatory--a scientific grade telescope and great docents---it would be so fun to take her! Hope that you have a good day, my friend!

Christine: So glad to read that your footwear is working for you! I wear Oofos flip flops and they are AMAZING. Super supportive and feel great after a run. I know what you mean though, summer is harder to find those supportive shoes. Uggh to DH having this cold. Don't you get it again! So glad that the antibiotics are helping. Yesterday afternoon our deputy supt and I were working with a school staff looking at their chronic absenteeism....it's crazy how many parents take their kids out of school on trips and how quickly it adds up. So sorry that it is affecting your testing schedule. I hope that you get to move into that new office soon! Yep, you can do it --- you are our purple star --- every day is a new chance to start fresh and today is your day! Hope that you have a good one!
Sue: Have fun with your valentine's meal and painting! So sorry about the soreness...usually the 2nd day after a run/workout is worse for me (don't know why). Hope that you have loosened up as you have moved around. Oh poor Sarah! Hope that she feels better soon.
Hello to all who follow. Have a wonderful day and will check in from AZ tomorrow!

Hey all. Yesterday was a tough day at work. I was hurting so bad that I could barely move. I tried to get here and check in but after I fixed supper in the instant pot I fixed a roast and potatoes. This evening I got caught up in my shows and now it’s time for bed. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and DH asked if I wanted to go out for supper. But I told him it would be to crazy that we could just grill steaks. I thought it was awfully sweet cuz he is not the most romantic and thinks Valentines Day is a stupid holiday. I hate to discourage but maybe we can go out a different night. And who knows I will probably be busy at work covering for our produce guy. He will be back next week and boy am I glad. He has to go back Wednesday to hopefully get released.
Ddil messages me earlier today talking about tracking Macros. She’s lost 3 pounds already this week and really likes it. My hair dresser follows the same type diet. I’m going to look into it and see if I can figure it out. She’s joined a FB group and all. I don’t know if I’m smart enough when it comes to weight loss to figure this out tho. I definitely have to do something tho no doubt.
Well I need to head to bed as I have to try and get up a little early. Not sure what tomorrow holds so might not make it back tomorrow. Will definitely try to check in.
