I got back to exercising after taking a few days off because of a cold. I walk/jog in place three times a day for 15 minutes.

I do a 15 min WATP video and walk outside in good weather and inside when too cold or hot to walk outside.

I have three days of 30+ minutes of exercise (walking) strung in a row. I am working on it. That said...today we are running errands early so getting the walking in will probably happen in the afternoon - if at all.

This week I managed to walk on the beach 2 days, the treadmill & elliptical 3 days. Upper body weights 2days. Stretching 1 day.
I think that all of the “vacation eating” is motivating me to exercise more. I wonder if anybody else feels that way? I want to be careful not to begin exercising to eat. It feels good to finally get back to my regular workout routine without being afraid of over-working my new valve.

luvvinlife, oh yes, I definitely step up my exercise when I'm on vacation. I know I'm going to exceed normal calories limits. I don't have a problem getting back to the old routine when I return. As far as this week's exercise: My usual body-weight strengthening & flexibility exercises - every day. I have added a couple more butt exercises - my droopiest body part. Cardio - mini-trampoline - 1 day Classical Stretch - 1 day I see I did not lift weights at all this week. My neck has been sore ever since the colonoscopy (I was frozen into a position with my head turned, watching the screen of the procedure, and of course couldn't tell if I was straining anything since I was all doped up), so I have been taking it easy with the weights. I finished taxes, DH is dropping them off to the prepared this AM, and plumber was able to fix bathroom sink; I thought I was going to have to get a while new sink installed. Yay!

Back in gym routine this week. Going to walk or treadmill today and tomorrow as well. Still catching up from being sick.
Need to do taxes for appointment later this month.
