Thursday, February 20: 125.8 - up 1 lb.
I had been getting used to staying under 125, but I don't really have any reason to be attached to that number. As long as I stay below 130, I'm a happy camper. It's so easy to get caught up in chasing a certain number. That said, I could probably use more cardio and that would influence the scale. But that is more important for my health than a number on the scale.

And if I stray above, I know what to do to get myself back down. Only exercise I do is walking and stretching. That works for me. Used to do weights but I don't have a lot of strength in my upper body due to the surgeries. Such is life

Thursday 2/20:riding the elevator with the weight this week. Up 1 lb @121 but I'm happy anywhere in the 120's.I will probably gain for awhile after surgery so need to keep up the healthy eating when I'm not as active as normal.

@anne1953, I’ll take it. 😂😂😂
For the 1st time ever, I took our scale with us when we went on vacation. I’m so happy that I did. I believe it helped to keep me focused, even through all of the indulgences.

ann1953 , double-liked one of your posts again. D'oh! luvvinlife , I have a scale at our vacation condo. It weighs a little different than my fancy schmancy digital scale at home, but I can see if the numbers are rising (they always do) and by how much. When I'm traveling on a cruise for instance, I rely on my tape measure. I take my measurements at the condo too. Friday, February 21: 125.8 - no change. I have been using up more of my planned calories during the day than usual this week. I have been skipping dinner to compensate and also I haven't been hungry for at dinner time. I think this has put my body into a calorie conserving mode as I have been below my calorie goal for five days in a row but weight is stagnant.
