I will:
* Exercise 30 minutes or more (15 in already) * Stay OP: track points and exchanges and record on MFP and paper
I am feeling "better" now that I am getting in all of the food groups. I am thinking I feel better than doing the vegan thing. The vegetarian thing is better (for the way I feel) than the vegan (so far) and I may eventually put other items back into the menu. I thought I felt better vegan but skin is better now and I feel "different" even in a few days...perhaps it is the increase in protein?
My daughter said she is excited I will be traveling with her and I am feeling the same. I spent a LOT of time looking at places to go and things to do while we are in Scotland and England. I am making a list and letting her decide what we will do once I have options for her to look at.
Hubby went to the bank yesterday and they were closed. The rumor is that they were out of dollars so closed the doors. Who knows? My husband stews and worries and I think he thinks I am not appreciative of his concern. I figure there isn't anything we can DO about it so why worry? Told him I could just "listen" and not say anything...maybe I should?
JUNE: I am planning to keep my streak going, too! Here's to being back OP!
ANN: I am joining you in the ear worm music June planted from Sonny & Cher. I have sports bras and the ones that are by bali that are all stretch...they are divine for comfort but going without is the most comfortable of all Hooray for Carl getting the water heater out and replaced before a problem occurred!
BECKY: I still need to fill out tax and FATCA forms...not looking forward to it.
BEE: I love the visual of you strolling snackatorium lane humming "our song" - I am one who doesn't plan either...have ingredients to make OP meals and make them up as I go.
MJ: It is good that you have public courses for certification of YM participants. It must be rewarding to see the youth learn and grow and see what they do as they graduate from HS.
SUSI: I saw the photo of your cats on the couch and they looked so cozy! There is a good eggplant dish that doesn't use tahini. You still cook the eggplant over the fire, peel it, mash and add lemon, garlic, tomatoes, onion and green peppers and drizzle olive oil on top. {{{HUGS}}} Sorry you are sad but know you will pull through thinking of the positive while remembering your friend.
LADONNA: I am sure you know the precautions for not getting Laken's flu - here's hoping you stay healthy and she is well soon!
BECKY: My sister's husband practiced in the hospital with her and the physical therapist how to get in and out of the truck. They had a friend meet them half way to help her get him out of the truck so he could walk a bit midway home. Do you have towing service on your car insurance? Do you have a friend that is a mechanic? Hope you can get the car looked at and fixed or line up transportation when you need it.
Okay - time to walk again...then will be done with the planned walking for today though more might happen later.

Becky Good to get that out of the way before your Surgery. Keeping you and your DN in my thoughts and prayers.
Bee Ha ha ha. . . am often visualizing lil bits and pieces of life--mine and others-- to music and sometimes adding a dance move or two. Am happy to have you sing along with me!
Enjoy your BS and sing and dance to your own tune when passing those snacks.

Good morning, June - Ann - Becky - Bee - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1 (he goes for bloodwork this Thursday).
ππ΅ππππ΅π.
DivaTaxi. MHMR. Chair yoga at 9:30 AM. Toots does not have SSO rehearsal. The Kressling may appear after school.
I had an interesting "breakthrough" at LA-F yesterday. I've had a knot in my right bicep ever since 2006, when the rotator cuff was severed and I used other muscles to compensate until surgery. It would cramp up randomly when I was doing upper-body/arm exercises. Yesterday it wasn't there. The area's a bit tender but the knot is gone. Interesting... especially as I have only one more session at LA-F (Friday) so it's nice to be able to pinpoint the event and make the connection that the year of exercises probably had a positive effect.
Today's pretty outside so far - mild and sunny. Rain is supposed to come in later, with the temps still more springlike than winterish. I'll enjoy the sun while it lasts.
Must get moving. BBL.
Coffee for all who indulge... βββ... <mug raised high!>...
ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·π Have a healthy-eating day, all! ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·π

Cathy Wonderful that you are feeling a very positive difference from switching up your approach! Sounds like you have hit upon a "good fit" for yourself.
When Smart Points rolled out we were told to strive to divide our current weight in half, the result as a guide for daily protein consumption. F Ex: A woman weighs 150 lbs. she should consume 75 grams of protein a day to promote weight loss. Now with the WW reimagined, the zero point lean proteins nudge members that way. I do best w/ some type of template for eating & like you having healthy options on hand.
Perhaps you are right. Maybe he needs to "talk" it out, even though you accept that to "let it go" is best. ( I cannot imagine not knowing if the bank will release any money or not). Too bad there isn't a good friend who could be his sounding board in your stead.

Mj Will definitely pray for DS. Hope that blood work leads to a diagnosis. My DN also had a very similar episode last year. Dr. decided that he passed one or more kidney stones. Wow, that is a terrific outcome from your year of gym work and new exercises like yoga. (Can not recall what type of gentle stretching you are also doing).
Has smelled like Spring here oftenand on for two weeks. π·π·π·π·πππππ¦π¦π¦π¦

Okey dokey It's time to rock n roll. I need to decide what I want class to accomplish today. Am thinking of using a newer assignment today and Thursday. Will commit to adding steps while I am on campus.
Yesterday was okay. Had lots of memories to make me smile. And last year, R& I celebrated dad's birthday w/ my parents on the actual day, joined family for a later fam party, and then had the big family party for both parents w/ special tee shirts when DB & SIL could attend. Made me smile to remember that he last BD was really & truly celebrated.
Visited mom in the nursing home & played LCR. Helped out w/ the activity, which the aides appreciated. R surprised me by coming when I was leaving. So I stayed and we had a very nice joint visit w/ mom.

Ann, at least it is a song I always like.
Cathy, I salute for investigating what is best for your body.
MJ, hope your son is better. Great for the knot disappearing.
June, my Dad taught us to be individuals, follow no fads, be yourself. SOOOOOOOO, consequently I dance to my own innermusic. I hardly ever listen to music playing, but I always have a song in my heart.

Good job pretracking June. I find having a plan in writing and adjusting as necessary works well. Hope it works for you. You've got me singing! Glad you slept well Ann and are ready to face the day. Becky - Glad you can get that out of the way today. Bee - I think we all walk to a slightly different drummer. That's why we get along so well. Enjoy Bible Study Looks like you are finding what works best for you Cathy. I'm a worry wort so I understand your husband's concern. Hope it reopens soon. MJ - That would be awesome that the exercise helped so much. Yes, it's starting off very pretty today. Glad DS1 is following up. Quiet night last night. Sunshine, walking, praying and some healing words lifted the worst of the sadness yesterday. I will not be attending the service as it is 3 hours away. Carol will go on Thursday and stay until after the service on Saturday afternoon and I'll take care of the animals for her. Today I am seeing Ann (my friend and accountant) after work to sign off on my taxes. Have a wonderful day and love to you all.
