Bee Am sure there is a song about rebels. . . Just can not think about it. Great lesson from your dad to carry with you through life.
Susi So happy that prayers, quiet reflections, kind words, and unexpected messages shared with you helped eased your heart and comforted your spirit. Good that Carol can attend and you can assist by caring for the ferals and your DS's pets.
At least it is easier to change my tracked items using an iPad rather than pen & paper. Was slightly annoyed that Waffle House no longer had English muffins, my friend took the last prepared rotissierre chicken at Sam's, R decided that I could eat salty ham at lunch & dinner and so on. Bleh... I made the necessary adjustments. Plus R kindly volunteered to drive out to Sam's for a chicken & did.
Ann I both do! I am the person who sings, hums, dances in her car or as she walks. At least I do those things when I am not depleted. I personally enjoy the musical entertainments at the nursing home. My mom & older sister also bops along. Two weeks ago, a new resident, R, rolled along behind her walker to the music as of she were dance. She obviously use to dance, and her enjoyment was an extra pleasure to see.

Oh how I miss visiting my dear gramma and for all those reasons. My uncle (mom's brother) used to entertain in nursing homes. I guess I get my musical talents from my mom and uncles LOL. I just wish I could read music and play an instrument. I do so enjoy music dancing humming and bee bopping. I have a hard time sitting still when music is playing unless it simply low key instrumental My day is all planned and tracked. I'm about ready to saddle up Carl and LuLa and hit the pavement. Woke up to 38 and now it's into the 40's. That surely is putting a on my face! LOL Only song I can think of with 'rebel' in it is the theme song from Johnny Yuma...Johnny Yuma was a rebel he roamed through the west

The day ran away from me yesterday. I went to the office to stuff and prepare envelopes for bills after my meeting and had lunch with Laura, Whitney and the boys since there was no school yesterday ( teacher i service). I got home close to 4 exhausted so today I’m trying to catch up with what I’ve put off before I pick up Nora at 1 pm I hope we all have a good day.

Audrey hope you get to relax at some point today. I'm totally enjoying a laid back day. Took a hood walk and it felt heavenly to be out there with just a hoodie on in 57 degree weather. YES Need to stop at our town hall to vote then just going to come back home and read. Later.....

Ann - I came up with Rebel Rebel by David Bowie, With a Rebel Yell by Billy Idol and He's a Rebel by the Crystals Audrey - I think the older we get that faster time gets away from us. Hope you can relax before you have Nora.

Hi all, Laken was feeling much better last night and over the weekend. Thanks for the prayers. They are felt I hope she will be able to return to work tomorrow. Its been a busy but good work day. I'm just KOKO doing what I know. Should be a quiet evening at home. This week was supposed to be pretty nice with sunshine but rain reappeared in the forecast. June, that is so sweet of Richard to stop by the nsg facility to see your Mom. Glad you stayed and enjoyed time together. That just makes me smile! Sonny and Cher were the cutest Ann, so glad you slept well after the day you had yesterday I also voted today in a special school board election. Becky, will you hear how your niece's surgery went today? Prayers. Bee, I can totally see you with an inner song playing enjoy the study. Cathy, I've heard so many wonderful things about the vegan way of eating eliminating so many health issues. I would love to try it but not sure I could stick to it. I am a big lover of fish and seafood. I could easily do away with other meats but I can't imagine a life without fish, shrimp, oysters, crab, etc. MJ, yes definitely makes it all worthwhile...congrats! Susi, also wishing you a wonderful day and hope that your sadness will continue to lesson with each passing day (((HUGS))) Audrey, the days sure do slip away..enjoy that precious little grand

Ann Terrific that you could hood walk in a just a hoodie. Loving the spring weather. Good for the soul.
Audrey Those days happen. At least you helped out at the office and saw Laura, Whitney, and the boys. Hope that you catch up today.
Susi & Ann "He's a Rebel" and "Johnny Yuma was a rebel" are the only songs that I can hum or sing right now.
LaDonna Good to hear that Laken is on the mend. Yes, it was nice of Richard. He is a good guy that way. 😀 Hope you have that quiet night and that the sun shines in your lil corner of the World.

Thanks Bee.No problem with the trip.Happy IRS already has our return. Are you expecting rain tomorrow?I know you did well with the snackatorium.
Cathy Great goals.I'm glad you are feeling better with the different way of eating. We are spoiled in the US.I can't imagine going to the bank and it being closed other than for a holiday.I am glad you and DD are both excited about the trip.It will be fun for both of you.I will be riding to the hospital in a pickup but coming back in a car so that's a relief. We already have people lined up for both trips.
June and everyone thanks for the prayers for my DN.She had her bad liver taken out this morning and the surgery went well. However she is in a lot of pain and is heavily drugged her mom said. She wanted to have it out so she could say she was cancer free.Unfortunately she still has 1-2 back surgeries at some point.
MJ I hope chair yoga went well and good that Toots doesn't have rehearsal.I'm so happy the knot is gone.

LOL Susi, that song He's a Rebel so reminds me of Sweating to the Oldies with Richard Simmons I used to LOVE doing his exercises. So fun. I still have them somewhere. I should pull that out LaDonna so happy DD is feeling better. Happy to report that I ate just what I tracked Always nice when that happens. I have an apple and a cheese stick to have later on if I feel like it. How does DD like her job? We had beautiful weather today. On our last walk I did see very dark clouds...low and behold it's pouring out right now. That's okay as I have no intentions of doing anymore walking now. Pitch black out there not to mention I'm already 'jammified'. June hum away A fun way to pass the time! Becky so happy to hear that DN's surgery was a success. Praying that she heals well and quickly. Let us know when she will be going in for her back surgery. Praying that the rain holds off tomorrow so that you have a pleasant drive to your doctor. Good luck ((hugs)) Wow, Bee...I'd say your did FANTASTIC on your snack choices. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday.

Susi you have a busy day tomorrow. Hope it all falls into place for you. I actually met Richard back in the day at a mall. He was promoting one of his videos. His was the only other diet I followed for any length of time other than weight watchers. I no longer have the deal a meal cards but probably have the cookbook lol.
