Are other people also having this issue? Any suggestions?
Everyday except one on my WW week(which starts Thursday) I have not gotten my full Fit Bit steps. I thought it was fixed but it did it again yesterday.
It seems that if it doesn't sync before midnight it will not go back to the previous day to adjust steps. So my steps today are showing but I'm missing close to 3,000 from yesterday.
I tried to manually sync it last night but it wouldn't.

I have had this occasionally happen, but not often. My only suggest would be to manually sync throughout the day. Also, if you get shorted steps just go in and manually add enough steps to get to the correct number. I did that a week or so ago when it didn't give me the right number of steps.

HL-I've been having an issue with my Vivofit (on Garmin Connect) where I get too many FP some days.
Syncing with Garmin gives a Total steps entry. It follows that with individual entries that are basically the amount of time for each time you use the stopwatch function on the Vivofit. WW's program is also giving FP to some of those. Basically my 40 minute dedicated walk time gets assigned points but my one minute mouthwash time doesn't. It's not consistent with assigning points to these already included minutes either.
I've chatted with tech support numerous times about this issue. They keep extending my eTools membership (since I'm an FLM this is of limited value). They haven't yet found a solution for the problem. This last time I chatted I was passed from Help that you get when activating the chat to Tech Support to Technical Engineering. I've told them they need to change the program that converts the data from Garmin to add to the activity tracker.
I've been manually computing and logging my correct number of FP and making sure I don't use any of the excess FP.
I've also had times when the overall step number doesn't sync into the Activity tracker correctly. Sometimes this corrects itself as much as one to two days later.
On top of this sometimes the syncing of the Vivofit into Garmin Connect just doesn't work at all. After several go arounds on that with Garmin tech support (who actually do it on the phone with real people what a concept) I now know that I have to delete my device from Garmin Express and then re-pair it. Having to have to do that multiple times in a week though (Closer I did it yesterday and today!) is a real bother.
Not a solution to your problem unfortunately.
Kitty-I thought the steps that you manually add are steps up a staircase so I don't know if the number of FP assigned for those would be accurate. I suppose that's a question I could chat about too.

Louise
I don't the manually added steps are up a staircase. They are in there to accommodate people who use a non-electronic pedometer.

I wasn't getting my FitPoints from my Apple Watch for months...they stopped after an update. Rather than deal with WW tech, since I don't eat them, I just left them alone.
But, after the last update, I turned everything back off, reentered my info and I have them again. Sigh.
