June happy to hear that mom is doing well. I love stuffed peppers Great idea to NOT bake those cookies. Warm from the oven and I'm a goner. Happy to say that I'm all planned and tracked. My weight spiked up .2 which normally happens after eating beef. I'm just surprised it wasn't more. Time for coffee......

MJ, does that woman realize that if it was a simple mindset, there would be no WW?
Yes, June, he's the one.

Bee I always enjoyed reading about how he loved to cook & host shrimp boils at Salt Mountain. 💞
Ann Beef always does that to me as well. Go figure. Would gladly send some stuffed peppers your way if I could. Exactly, Ann, exactly, a warm cookie. . Is a trigger. It isn't that I cannot work them into my day, but I do not want to do so. I would be baking them to make someone else happy rather than taking care of myself. That's still inmy nature, I get that and I enjoy doing it. But making self care a consistent "thing" is my goal. I will learn to balance those things out.

I agree June...it's all about the balance. If I really crave something I make it work. We just came back from a nice hood walk. Plenty of sunshine and no wind. Perfect in my book!

Cathy, great goals to prepare for travel too Scotland and the USA. I think two separate trips would be better, easier on being away from your husband and less tiring for you. MJ, sending prayers for Son #1, the Mousketeer and Brian. Our son-in-law also has an ear infection. These things just happen this time of the year totally unrelated to the corona virus. Enjoy the parade and I hope you can find a close parking spot. Becky, you are so organized and this is a very good time to prepare for your surgery. Do you have the toilet seat that fits on the toilet and makes it easier to sit without squatting down? It is very important. Bee, enjoy the fond memories as you think of your son today. Ann and June, I talked DH into forgetting about DST and we slept in too. We get up early as it is during the weekdays. Ann, I hope it gets warmer soon. I am glad you could get in your hood walk.
If any of you watch Extreme Home Makeover on HGTV tonight at 8 p.m. PDT they are featuring the home in Clovis, CA my friend and her building company built and donated to the fireman who lost his wife and is raising three young children with the help of his mother. I am not sure when it is on in other time zones, but it is a new episode.

Audrey & Mj Hope that both SIL's feel better soon. MJ Would hazard to say that being irritated at a DH for not taking care of himself sounds 100% normal.
Audrey it was not a conscious thought on our part. Neither one of us feels the impact of DSL.
Good for your friend. Hope the experience is more rewarding for them than it was for us. When R had his own company, we generously donating time & materials to a local Ext Home Makeover Project. Probably one of the least rewarding donation that we ever made.

Audrey Prayers for your SIL as well.We are going tomorrow to get the toilet seat.

Thanks for the hugs and prayers, Everyone!
It was a good day. We laughed, we shared memories, and we shed a few tears just because we miss him so.
Ate lunch at Outback, each ate extra bread just for him as he loved it --- and we slathered it in butter as he loved.
Back to PTHM tomorrow, with all my special equipment.
Hope ALL have a great night.
Becky, praying extra for you as the countdown is happening.
