Well, I made it to the store and back, and they had everything I needed. I got back home and pulled the dryer out and cleaned all around. I had purchased a vent cleaning kit on line, so I used that and got out what I could. I think it is pretty clean in there. I also went outside and ran the brush in there to get out any remaining lint in the last foot or so, to the outside. Hopefully I got enough loose of what might be left, that the new dryer will blow the rest outside! It wasn't too bad, because I went on and left the dryer about half out of the closet, so they won't have much to do when they bring the new one. Lora, I AM pretty excited about the new one! I'm the same way....I love to get a new appliance or updated "thing" to replace old worn out things!
One thing I noticed at the store was that EVERY single person going in, used the wipes that are inside the door to wipe down the carts. People are thinking, and doing what they can. Susie, it seemed like the shoppers were staying at least 6 feet from each other, too!! Anyway, I felt a little contaminated when I got in my car, HA!

Susie - My entire life my mom was always terrified of the old fashioned stove top pressure cookers. When she was a kid and aunt of her had one and something malfunctioned somehow and she got badly burned. I don't know the details, but my momma would not have one in the house. So, I had absolutely no knowledge or experience with the original ones, but still had the echoes of mom's fear of them still bouncing around in my head. Of course, my DD didn't have that and dove right into it when she got her IP, talked me into getting one on a Black Friday sale and then had to force me to get used to it. haha.

Well, I used my IP for the first time..."baked" potatoes. I really just wanted them cooked enough to put them in a skillet to make home fries one morning. Put I was so hungry, that I ate one right away - ha.
DH was just notified that Sheltering Arms (where he takes neuro-fit) will be open, but everyone will be checked before they go in (temperature taken, etc) AND I cannot go in, but I can wait in the waiting room. I will probably just stay in the car and read.
