Thanks for the start, Chele. Did Iggy start his telecommute today? When Dale was doing that, I wouldn't see him for hours, so definitely not underfoot. I hope it will go well and he got the technology issues worked out. I know he used to do that some but it's been a while. I saw about the restaurants and bars closing there. Did you go Krogering this morning to get the other stuff you needed?
Becky, I'm not sure I couldn't get into the PU even without having had knee surgery last week. Good luck and I hope things aren't nuts if you do venture out. Enjoy your reprieve from home health.
There are several problems with takeout food, Linda, in addition to what you mentioned. Good that Bob is feeling good enough to do some things, especially bringing you coffee. I know what you mean about not being good at staying home, but I guess I need to get there and you do, too. Be as prepped as you can be. I'm not sure any of us can be totally prepared. I hope things at your primary won't be too nuts in the morning. Go ahead and get it over with before they potentially get inundated. Having only 5 cases in such a populous county is actually not bad, but then, looking at the national map, AZ only has a total of 13 cases, which is 1/3 of what TN has and we are more rural.
Kathy, MSNBC was checking in with a reporter outside an Aldi in Kissimmee who was keeping tabs on how well stocked they were staying. He said when the store opened at 9, they had a long line waiting to get in. I think he said something about restricting the number of customers that are allowed in the store at a given time. That makes sense with the CDC's gathering limitations.
How's life, Liz? I know how crazy things have to be for you right now and things are ever changing. Thinking of you and sending good karma your way.
Been an insane morning. I found out just before bedtime about the CDC guidelines for gatherings, then this morning I got a call that UT is banning all F2F meetings effective immediately. Board decided we had to meet to sort some things out, so we are meeting at another location. It seems like I get all the emails and texts answered and by the time I get something done around the house and sit back down, I have half a dozen more to respond to. I also had to redo the board meeting agenda for this evening. I told one of my fellow master gardeners that, being a paramedic for 19 years I am by nature a crisis manager, but I never expected that to be a skill I would need as a master gardener. Still waiting to see what they will do for Osteo. I did reschedule my hair appointment until April 14th.

Linda, Iggy and I were infected with the flu bug by a young restaurant worker in Portland. It was the day before our flight home. By the time we got home we were very sick. When I worked in logistics, I used to go in sick because we used to be able to bank sick days. When we were not allowed to do that, I took my sick days. Anyway, I hope you donāt get too stir crazy, because we have a long way to go.
Karen, you are a better person than I am. I would not deal well with all the MG drama. Is the coronavirus lockdown going to effect Daleās job opportunity? Iggy was supposed to have a client flying in from DC on Wednesday but all the venues he wanted to see are closed. I donāt know if he cancelled yet.
Becky, I hope you are able to get out of the house today and get what you need. Be careful.
Kathy, I would be a little concerned about the relatives flying as well especially after I saw the crowds at the airport. Hopefully, that is just in the international section where they had to check for fevers after passport control.
Liz, may the forces of good be with you this week and keep you safe.
I, too, have my checkup with PCP tomorrow morning. Iggy wanted to know if I was still going and I said yes. I have a couple of things to ask the doc about plus I need a new prescription and a cholesterol check. I decided to wait until tomorrow to go Krogering after the doctor visit, so I will get it over with in one day.
Iggy worked out the IT problems this morning and I made him a nice lunch - roasted chicken thighs and elbow macaroni with an artichoke and tomato sauce. I got on the bicycle, did a load of towels, refilled the bird feeder and am now having a cup of coffee.
Hasta maƱana, Chicksters.

Dsil and husband flew after his sister's funeral from here to Hawaii to visit their dd and use a prepaid special at a resort. They are glad they went as he desperately needed it after 7 weeks of 24/7 caretaking of dying sister. They return next Mon unless they can change the nonrefundable ticket to go straight home. We are not seeing anyone who has traveled by air for a week! They were going to drive his sister's car back to NY! Decided with all the closings to have it shipped.
Was not going out but remembered stuff has bern waiting at dry cleaners three days and I need kefir which helps quell the stress colitis of the last two months...finally getting a handle on that and household diet since the āpatientā feels better has relented on comfort food and lost two pounds.
I finally have lost the 3.5 the bad diet and stress eating piled on since New Years.
So I waited til nine to avoid the toilet paper vultures who hover when stores open...and TJ's changed hours to 9-7! Not bad anyway. Got my kefir some produce and daffodils. Wiped hands on paper towel and alcohol in zip lock in car before Touching anything but key! Got the dry cleaning and gas in the car..figured I might as well go to pharmacy for something dh needs and drop off the prescriptions that are old and need disposing.
Came home , washed hands, unloaded car and disinfected anything I might have touched in/on it and door knob, light switch...
Amazon boxes will get opened, disposed of and hands washed thoroughly.
So no plans except three Fridays in a row, knee shots as soon as the clean clinic opens and out! Produce and dairy pick up on the way home at a smaller quieter store.
Email from our vet...locked and doing business. You stay in your car until someone fetches pet. They talk to you on cell phone. You stay in your car and pay but no cash. Last Edit: a

Thanks for the start Chele.
Karen I was surprised how easy it was to get up in the PU today. My retrieve wasn't really a retrieve considering the shapes of HEB and WM.There are bare shelves everywhere and HEB just got in 13 trailers of merchandise at every one of their stores and plan to get that many tonight also.Problem is if you don't get there shortly after 8 AM they run out.HEB in some areas are restricting the number of people they let in each hour.
Chele I'm glad Iggy is getting to work at home.I am being very careful.
Linda Good for you on your weight loss.Wow on your vet's practices.

I had to get or dry cleaning, get gas in car, pick up stuff from pharmacy. Called dr about my yearly wellness check up tomorrow and they rescheduled for mid May.
Cancelled hair for next week. I swear it is not growing and The new person (old hair dresser's partner)does not get it right. I am letting it grow out.
So my gel shots are next three Fridays just as they open while it is still empty and clean, with dash into sprouts for milk, eggs, bread produce on the way.
