June your walk sounded heavenly. So happy you enjoyed your time out with nature and her critters That's one of my most favorite things to do. I never knew what I was missing living in the City for all that time. Our little town may be backward and remote, but it has a LOT of charm Enjoy that turkey and bubble bath. LOL June, I did run the dust cloth over the furniture. I'm sure that counted for something. I had KC and the Sunshine Bank playing as I worked. The disco beat got me through it in no time
Happy to report that we took a very short hood walk. Miss LuLa did her business and just as we got under the carport the sky opened up! I was so happy to not get caught in that horrible downpour. Will keep an eye on the weather to see if walking today is an option. I've clocked in a lot of steps this week, so I have no problem taking a day off.
Stay safe and waving to those that haven't shown up yet
Later..........

Cathy Good goals.I'm glad you were able to talk to the family.I hope your friend will volunteer to shop for you again.Actually I ordered some knee high compression socks from Amazon and they were delivered today. They do feel better than the TED hose.
June It was nice to see the ladies via Zoom.We had our service on Facebook and while we can't see everyone and isn't quite the same at least we are doing it from a safe place.
Ann It was a nice SS on Zoom.We mainly shared prayer requests and praises.
Thanks Susi. You did get a lot done yesterday.I'm sure the dance workout was fun.I hope you and Carol were able to ride bikes.Good improvising on the weights.Funny.
Becky wonferful seeing faces and sharing prayer requests.
We bundled up and took another hood walk. LuLa did her business but after that she wanted no part of the damp cold weather. We took her home wiped her off and went out walking on our own.
I am happy to be back. Right now I'm descaling the coffee pot. Such a FUN job

Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1 and DSonIL. We just had our Sunday afternoon round-robin text and all are still well (for which I thank God).
LaDonna, Lucy sure is a sweetie! How was her first night at home with y'all?

I'm not sure that I can do long naps in the future. Although I felt much better yesterday (and even this morning) after a mega-nap, I had a hard time falling asleep last night. I shall continue to experiment, to find the "right blend" of napping and nighttime rest π΄ π΄.
My WW Studio has two Sunday morning workshops and I attended one at 8 AM. That's the opera singer, and she relocated yesterday from our township to her mom's place in DE. Each lives alone, so better that they are together for the duration (Jen's not likely to be back in NYC, singing, for months). She was concerned that she'd have problems "getting across the border" given recent rumors. We had a really good meeting; Jen's getting a good handle on how to use her laptop and how to manage ZOOM to increase participation and decrease background noise/feedback.
Other than that, I made my list and checked it twice and then made today a sacred Sunday, the old-fashioned way (funny, Susi, I "went to Mass" last night). Fortunately, with this and other "startups" that I do I am always mindful of "what day it is" - but I want to shape my days a bit better and I'm going back to The Good Old Days when Sundays were deliberately Days of Rest.
Coffee... βββ... relaxing...

Good Afternoon Everyone Iβm trying to take a short break from posting but want to welcome Lucy. It rained during the night and is cool now. I am watching Bob put in stakes for plants. Dinner is grilled fish, green beans and salad. Iβll return to longer posts and personals tomorrow.

Thanks everybody - Lucy has been such a nice distraction from the "situation."
diva49, She did incredibly well. I heard her up twice. She slept with Laken so she got up with her each time and took her out. She's not had any accidents in the house yet. I love girl puppies for this reason. From my experiences they are easier to train. She's an 8 wk old German Short Haired Pointer. The traveling vet is coming tomorrow to check her out and give her her 8 week immunizations. Eventually she'll be outside. We were not quite prepared when Laken showed up with her yesterday.
We had a delicious breakfast and then watched a video of this morningβs church service. Feels like Sunday. At least I know what day it isπ KOKO will be key today as I track, hydrate and move toward blue with a smile. Wishing each of you a healthy day with many reasons to smile.
diva49, Funny you should say that. Carl and I were just talking about how Sunday's used to be a day of rest. Happy you enjoyed your zoom meeting.
LaDonna that's great the vet will be there to give Lucy her shots. I see why you said you were not ready for this...but sometimes a distraction is a good thing.
Hi pam.
Audrey enjoy your day off from the computer. We all need that at times. Enjoy your supper.

Audrey Hi! Happy to know that all is well with you. Catch you on the glimpse side.
Becky Nice that you enjoyed the remote church gathering.
Mj Yep. Hard to get the nap/night's rest balanced so you can do both. Life has a faster pace now. A day or rest and reflection would do a body good.
LaDonna Glad the pup is getting her shots. You have a great vet. Will Laken train her as field dog? Goodness, our Jo Jo loved the hunt rabbits & pheasants. R would rack his gun in the basement and she would meet him at the back door.
Ann The long soak in the tub was heavenly. I washed downthe bathroom with Colorx and washed all the towels with bleach. R wanted to make something. So I suggested he make a loaf of crusty bread to eat w/ all vegetable soup & very lean ham.
I finalized a draft for the lesson for week of April 10th and started the draft for a make up assignment that same week. Walked away feeling accomplished and without eyestrain. Winein.
