Thanks for the start, Karen.
Did bills. Doing laundry. Off to do some exercise before I become homicidal. The carnivore is getting on my last nerve.

Was going to do the other bathroom except for little toilet room, but yesterday set off the hand again. Good excuse? Guess I will do counter tops and dust the big bedroom and get Spouse to vacuum it.
He is picking up curbside Mexican tonight.
Suddenly we are in the 80s, heading for 90 Friday..whoa, too much after so cool.

Linda, while I was searching for alcohol info yesterday, I saw about Purell being sued for claiming their product kills "99.9% of all germs". I guess somebody figured out it doesn't. LOL on the Gumpism. Nice to-do list. I think I'm checking most of those boxes every day in just my normal activities. Bob seems to be recovering well. Sorry the hand flared up again, but take any excuse you can to get out of housework and to get him to vacuum. Your temps are getting more seasonal for sure. Enjoy the Mexican. I wish we had some restaurants close by. As Scooby Doo would say, Chele, "Ruh-Roh!" What would be more annoying, however, the carnivore or 4 kids ages 6 to 14 under foot for weeks at a time? Rhetorical....Anyway, hope the endorphins kept you out of jail. Let us know if you need bail money, especially after paying the bills. I hope things are drying out there and perhaps it's warm enough for you to spend some time outdoors. Becky, is this a PT day? Is the calf pain improving? Is your weather getting warmer like Linda's is? I checked several of my bottles of hand sanitizer, Kathy, and some of them do say ethyl as the alcohol type, which was surprising. So 60% is good for those. I wonder if that's what Bath & Body Works uses, which would make 68% good. We can hope, since their containers all just say "68% alcohol" with nothing more specific. The stuff I'm using to clean bathrooms and the kitchen is mostly 91% alcohol, with a little hydrogen peroxide and some essential oils. It seems to do a good job on sinks, counters, and stainless appliances. Are you expecting any rain this week? You certainly need it! We're expecting a little more tonight into tomorrow. Wish I could send it to you. Liz, I'm sending virtual hugs your way. From what I just heard on the news, things don't seem to be slowing down any there. At least you're getting a little relief with Javits opening and USNS Comfort set to dock shortly. I saw the author of this article How Coronavirus Behaves Inside A Patient on a news show this morning. I would much rather listening to the scientists than the politicians. It's very scary that within a week or so we will be closing in on the same number of fatalities we had on 9/11. Dale brought my Adirondack chair up from the barn this morning, so Arya and I may go out on the deck a bit this afternoon. I'll set the chair up far from the feeder so I won't disturb the birdies. We have several there right now and I also see a Coopers Hawk enjoying a float on the gentle breeze. It's in the 60s right now but they are talking about possible snow in the mountains tomorrow. Good thing I resisted the urge to put seeds in the ground last week. I put 10 miles on the bike this morning and housework is done, so I'm chilling for the rest of the day.

Karen, thanks for the start. It makes sense that 68% is slightly less effective than 70%, but I really don't think 70% kills everything and 68% kills nothing. I'm guessing it's a gradual scale of effectiveness and perhaps the study on the newer page only used sanitizers with 70%. Those studies can be really tricky since we don't know exactly what they did or how they measured it. At any rate, washing hands is best and I'm not using the sanitizer that much since I'm not going out. Bath & Body works does have the ingredients on the bottles I got and it says isopropyl. The top just says alcohol, but towards the bottom they list all the ingredients.
Also, aren't the sanitizers anti-bacterial and not anti-viral? I know they've found that they do have some effectiveness against this virus, but in general, I think they are advertised as anti-bacterial. Purell should be sued if they were making false claims! My Clorox wipes claim to kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. I wonder if that's valid. It's still very dry here, but we may get a little bit of rain later in the week. I did another live Jazzercise session and now I really need to get in the shower. Chele, hope the carnivore survives!
Liz, thinking of you and hoping you're doing okay.
Waving to Becky and Linda.

Kathy, I'll have to check to see if my B&BW has isopropyl listed specifically. With those small bottles, it's really fine print. Alcohol is not only antibacterial, but antiviral, antifungal, and antimicrobial. And, truth be told, Covid-19 is so new that I believe the scientists are all guessing as to what works, based on what worked for similar viruses. So, alcohol % not be a huge deal when we have actual data as a basis for what works and what doesn't. Congrats on another successful live Jazzercise class. I'm really glad you found that link. So sad about Murtagh, especially on Jamie's birthday. I guess the silver lining is now that Jamie is free from his oath to Gov. Tryon. I hope that really wasn't Roger at the end. I guess we won't find out until next week.

Karen, thanks for the info. I think you're right about the scientists guessing on some things. I got an email about the Jazzercise classes since I was already on their list, so I'm glad I signed up a few weeks ago. Yes, that was very sad about Murtagh. They used the dialog from the book from when he died on the battlefield in Culloden. I know whether or not that's Roger from the books, but I'm not telling! Then again, they could change what happens in the books. It's been nice to have some surprises.

Well, IT lives. I convinced him to give me some space. Every time I started something there he was in the way.
Kathy, I am glad you got some Jazzercise in. I ordered a few things from Walmart for next day delivery. All the TP is in store purchase only. You can’t even order it for pickup. Pbbt!
Linda, yuk on the house cleaning. Definitely take it easy on yourself. Cleaning bathrooms can get all sorts of things hurting. I need to mop the kitchen but I don’t want to push my luck with the carnivore. He goes to bed early so I will mop it before I go to bed.
Becky, how are you getting along? More and more mobile?
Liz, thinking of you as always.
Karen, I got out in the yard a little but my seeds are ‘t here yet. The back is still marshy so we don’t want to walk on it. You got a lot of planting done. It has cooled off to 51° from 70° so lots cooler today. I hope you got to sit outside with Arya today. We had a Cooper’s hawk land in the ash tree really close to the feeder waiting for the little birdies to show up bit they were too smart to come back while it was around.

Bleach kills it all...but the wipes and sprays have to leave surface wet a few minutes To work. Used to say ten, now I see four minutes, so do not wipe it off right away. Then too be careful of combo of bleach fumes and vinegar or ammonia..nasty
SoI got the big bathroom with toilet enclosure done except for shower which we squeegee. Did it in bits at a time. used rest of Swiffer wet mop on the laundry floor. Yeah.things are aching .Main part of bath is carpet right into bedroom. Also cleaned out the five shelf small, ines closet in there...one shelf for stuff like alcohol, with hazel, calamine, show polish, etc on turn around. One has double turn around for stored extra OTC meds I like to keep ahead of, rest is towels. Then I sat down to rest. Nope
Dh then started in bath to vacuum....weirdest clunking I have never heard from vacuum. I took the bottom apart, and finally figured out the gadget that has wheels to raise or lower the machine height was somehow out if it’s place. Got it assembled, prayed over it like a witch dr and so far so good! Getting up and down off floor a few times made knee mad.
Would you believe if you have a blood test and have them come to your house , it becomes a different company that treats it as your personal order, will not take insurance or send result to dr...just you? This has been a hassle as it had to be paid in advance and they got it wrong,,,and it went on. Finally getting it by email to bring to appt. in a week. Sheesh.
He put on mask and gloves and Id off to pick up curbside Mexican food.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele I hope the carnivore is still alive because I have no bail money for you.
Linda Sounds like you are getting the weather we had last week.
Karen Yes this was a PT day(pain & torture).Until they can start having outbound PT he will be coming Mon,Wed and Fridays. The pain is better but not gone of course. It is always worse after he has been here.He told me I would feel it tonight because he introduced several new exercises to strengthen my knee. They felt good at the time but I am feeling it.We had Linda's weather last week.We have been cloudy with a high of 73 today and had showers last night and early this morning. No rain next 2 days with high around 77 and then chances of rain through maybe next Monday.
Liz I'm thinking about you.
Kathy Good for you on the Jazzercise sessions. I don't think I'm quite up to that.LOL.
Chele I'm glad IT has decided to give you some space.Neither Walmart or HEB has had any TP here although I did snag a small 4 roll pack at HEB last week.WM hasn't had any since this first started.I use the cane very seldom but I'm not running a race either. I will get there.
