I will plan,track,hydrate and KOKO.
There is unofficial word that our county will be included in the stay home, stay safe order. We haven't been going anywhere except the grocery store when needed so nothing really different. Our county went from 3 to 6 cases in one day. While that's not a lot compared to other places our county isn't that large. However I don't know how well they will enforce it if they can't even enforce it in a big city like Austin.I will comply except for necessities.

I will KOKO today. Yesterday during a phone call a doctor told me where masks were available 5 for $10 so I told my son. The independent pharmacy is close to his home. Becky, you and Kenneth have to just take care of yourselves limiting contact with others as much as possible. Itβs sad how many people think they donβt have to follow social distancing. Fresno County was at 6 cases travel related for two weeks. Then it increased to 12. Friday it was 42 and now itβs 53. I think test results are constantly being confirmed. I try to follow an at home routine, call and text someone at least once a day, keep occupied and bless each day I wake up without a cough or fever

Today will generally be a good day. I have to take Lily Belle to the vet to get a shot for seasonal allergies. Comcast is dropping off 2 new cable boxes. The ice cream order will be delivered. I am making lentil soup for dinner. Last night my husband grilled chicken thighs he marinated in white wine, lemon juice and slices, minced garlic, rosemary and oregano. They were delicious. We are trying to vary our dinners as much as possible.

I agree that structure is very helpful June. What is a C-19 schedule? Becky - We have been on lock down for over a week. I have only been to the supermarket once, keeping social distance and am only in the office when necessary. I wish everyone would get on board to the greatest extent possible. Audrey - With our vet, you check in curbside and if you don't need to go in with your pet, even better. Then they will video conference or call you after the visit. Good idea to vary your meals. I am trying to do the same. I underestimated the amount of lettuce I would need this week. Fortunately I can swap in spinach in a few cases until I do my weekly shopping. I am adhering as best as possible to social distancing. We are having no more than 2 or 3 people in the office. I'm picking up and dropping off mail and payroll at as much of a distance as possible. Today is strictly work from home. One of the gym instructors will do a FB live pilates class at 11. My plan is in place. Still walking with my sister but even keeping some distance from each other.

I can: think before I bite and write down every BLT - also exercise and hydrate
I have one more serving of the vegetable white bean soup AND need to make the broccoli into soup BUT I think we are having ful/fava beans for lunch with garlic, lemon and olive oil topped with chopped tomatoes and onions. It is scooped up with Lebanese pocket bread.
How many of you can call in orders or order online rather than have to cruise the aisles for groceries?
Two good things happened yesterday:
* My friend called to see what we needed from outside, sent her husband to shop for their home and mine, brought the food to the driveway and we took it out of her trunk and put the payment for the groceries with homemade jam and carob molasses into her trunk and chatted a bit from a distance before she headed home again - so nice to have Inna for a friend! * I spoke face to face with my sister for the first time in years. It was marvelous to see her face and hear her voice via the Zoom App. Last night she sent an email saying she called to see how her husband was doing and he answered the phone. She is cautiously optimistic and hopes this surgery will be a lot easier than the last one.
JUNE: Having a schedule is not a bad thing. I don't have a real one BUT mornings are on the computer for email and groups with walking interspersed. Lunch happens then the afternoon and evening are for reading and reviewing and anything else. Good luck creating the structure you desire for your days. Too funny about the ice cream wanting to jump into your shopping cart
BECKY: We have been home since the 11th of March. No reason to go out so we don't. Hubby gardens and I do my usual things. Let us know how the lockdown goes where you live. Glad your new stockings are doing the job and more comfy. I am glad your PT continues even if it is painful - know it will help.
AUDREY: I agree with you that social distancing is a must. Also, my sister told me she lives as if in an operating room and does her best to avoid contaminating herself or others/surfaces whenever she can. Your husband's garden produce sounds varied and delicious! We have tried to grow some of the items he will have in his garden but either something ate them or they did not do well here The 2000 books is over a few years though last year I did get in more books than days in the year...some of those were art or cooking books so faster to get through due to the illustrations. Oh...for ice cream!
BEE: I loved the comment "gathering with foods that are not good for me" making food a real entity DDIL is sweet to offer you sweets...glad you shared the piece of cake...sounds divine! Hope your feeling tired disappears soon!
SUSI: It sounds like you are taking precautions to stay safe and virus-free. It is good only two are in the office at one time.
ANN: I am thankful that hubby and I live alone and have not been out and about so no sanitizing is necessary. We clean what comes in when groceries are delivered but do that outside the house and bring in only what is clean and ready to go on the shelves or into the frig.
MJ: Sorry that your sleep is disturbed. I am sure parents are finding teaching at home on top of their day jobs a bit stressful. I agree that this covid-19 situation will not be resolved any time soon.
LADONNA: It sounds like Lucy is going to be a pampered princess...what a lucky dog!
PAM: Good to hear from you
Hubby is hungry...need to go fix lunch!

Ann Good to "see" you! Hope this will be a comfortable day for you & Carl.
Audrey Variety does help, especially now. Soup is a great option. Can be a main meal or a side. Hope the extra Comcast boxes help make you more comfortable in your home.
As hard as the social & economic changes are, those climbing numbers could be more horrific. Thank goodness for Dr. Facui who has provided expert advice & information.
Susi Lots of forces at work that undermine the "get onboard" approach. Frustrating, for sure. But for each one of us who does, we help flatten the the numbers of those infected and worse.
Since we got the shelter at home order two weeks ago, I have been in the grocery store twice for 20 mins. We were outside, but kept the recommended distance and then some.
C-19 is my shorthandfor Covid-19. I am on my way. I am looking forward to shifting my energies. Today the only school work I have to do today is to monitor my computer during office time.

Cathy
Praying for your sister & BIL. Glad that you visit face to face w/ your sister. What a blessing your garden is and your neighbor are. How nice to her something from your pantry. Ha ha ha. . . That ice cream usually has its own place to hang out and we never even get in waving distance.

Good morning, June - Becky - Audrey - Susi - Cathy - Ann - LaDonna - and AWF!!!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1 and DSonIL.
It's the last day of March. Thoughts? Is this a March to remember? Or one to forget as soon as possible?
What is ONE GOOD THING in your life that took place / happened in March?
ππ΅ππππ΅π <miss my monkeys> ππ΅ππππ΅π.
Rainy again. <meh>. I would be noisier about "rainy AGAIN" - but young friends of ours have a grammar-school-age son whose lungs are so fragile that he is under orders not to go out of the house AT ALL - not even to play in his own yard on a sunny day. This also limits his younger brother and sister. So I promised his mom that I would not "pray for beautiful Spring weather". So far, little Anthony is doing OK.
Not sure what's on the agenda for today. I opted NOT to dive into Spring cleaning as though I had to get it all done in one day so I can pick one more (small) task from that always-renewing list. I'll attend a virtual workshop at 1 PM; the coach is a gal from Brooklyn NY (now lives in NJ) whose spin on life I particularly appreciate. And, depending on how wet it is out there, I might work on pruning the rose bushes.
The rest of the day, I'll be knitting, reading, and watching random TV shows that catch my interest.
I've got my coffee... βββ... here's to US!... <mug raised high>...
ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·π Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·ππ·π
