Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Feel free to jump in and join us. All are welcome here.

Good morning. The governor has issued a shelter in place for Virginia as of yesterday.
I am still super sore this morning. I did trade out my wooden office chair for a folding chair with a small cushioned bottom on it this morning. I hope it helps.
Janet woohoo on being proactive for your tablet delivery!
I am so grateful for being able to work from home and not being laid off during this crisis. I am so grateful that my family and I are all healthy.
I hope everyone has an amazing day.

Good morning everyone!
Jana - thanks for starting us. Sorry that you're still sore, but I hope this the kind of sore that hurts a bit less because you know you got it from doing something that was worth it. If that makes any sense at all (just started my first cuppa..Haha! Thanks for also starting us with statements of gratitude. <3 (no little heart emojis here, so that will have to do)
It's pouring rain right now, so I'm glad I got my outside time yesterday because it doesn't look like right now there will be any sun today. I got a new library download a couple of days ago and while on the patio yesterday I got almost through the prologue and 2 chapters. It's by one of my favorite crime writers and a 2019 release. I was on the digital wait list, but came up to the top pretty fast. So was happy to get that. I have a John Grisham wait listed as well, and hopefully that will become available around the same time as I finish this one. That would be great.
Anyway, pretty quiet here (obviously). Haha!
Among the long list of things that I am grateful for are: Having a good book to bury my nose in on this rainy day. My coffee delivery that came yesterday (a day earlier than expected), that I can enjoy while reading my book.
For me, practicing an "attitude or gratitude" certainly does make me have a more positive outlook on all things that would have normally caused me intense anxiety & it helps me to be more present and aware of the little details that make my life better. It's pretty amazing to me how calm and anxiety free and peaceful my body, mind & heart have remained throughout this whole ordeal we're all in. And I honestly think it will serve me well, as right now it appears that we're in for another month of this, at the bare minimum.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ***When we practice gratitude as a daily habit, we train our minds and emotions to thrive in adversity. We begin to see the positives in difficult situations.***
***On particularly rough days, remind yourself that your track record for getting through bad days so far is 100%, and that's pretty damn good.***

Oh Jana - I meant to mention, DH has one of those mesh office chairs. One that supposed to be ergonomically shaped and the mesh is supposed to reduce pressure...blah, blah, blah. His butt is so boney and he's been spending so many hours in that chair the last few weeks that I had to devise a cushion of sorts for him to sit on, because his booty was falling asleep and getting sore. I had a big piece of memory foam that I had been cutting pieces off of whenever I needed a new pillow for Lily. So I cut a piece off for him, and put it in an old pillow case for him to sit on. Haha.

Hello everyone,
Just passing through for a minute. I am getting programs downloaded to help me do my virtual visits from home, along with my doc from her house...I had a heck of a time getting the office phones to link up with my computer, but I think I finally got it. We got sent home early yesterday, because a breaker went bad to our building and we lost all electricity, phones, and internet. So absolutely no point in being there. I'm off today, and tomorrow starts the working from home. I still have some bugs to get straightened out today.
I will bbl and I'm waving to all to follow. Take care,
RobinMD

RobinMD - I hope you're able to enjoy your day off and that you get all of the technical kinks worked out. Those can be so aggravating. So fingers crossed for you!!

Good afternoon.
Well my day has been kind of hectic. I finally got tired of the sciatic pain from sitting in my wooden chair, called my manager and went and got my office chair from work. I also rearranged my phone office because my monitors were blocking the window. I like to have the window open some when it is nice outside. I have everything rearranged and all set up now so I will probably have to work a little late to stay caught up since today is the last day of the month. Tomorrow I get to start working on my favorite thing ever - BUDGET.
Lora I downloaded a book last night too. I haven't had a chance to start it yet but plan on starting it this evening.
RobinM I hope you get all the kinks worked out. I am so glad you are going to be able to work from home.

Hello again, Lora, thanks! You are so right about aggravating kinks...especially as challenged as I am! I can't try the link with the phones until tomorrow afternoon, and we will be well into our day by then. The hope is that I will make and receive phone calls right to my computer, so I don't have to call people on my own cell. I am going to work on the printer link in a little while, and I should be able to give that a trial run. Things are just starting to get worse in this area, and it is going to pick up fast just like everywhere else. We are trying to adjust everyday, to the anticipated needs. This is a new way of doing things, for sure. And I am sorry to see that you are getting heavy rain again! Glad you got that nice walk in, though. Maybe you can go check on the eagles again soon! Jana, I am looking forward to getting out in the flower beds again. It really is nice to be out and getting things prettied up! I totally relate to the sore muscles afterward, though. It usually takes me a couple of weeks (and that is doing most of the work on weekends) to get back into "yardwork shape" every year! HA! I always tell people I go in to work on Mondays to recover from the weekend Hope the chair switch helps you get more comfortable. Janet, you rocked it! If you hadn't been so prepared you would have had a rough time getting those things out there. Well, I am going to throw together a couple of chicken fajitas. Then....I will attempt to download the printer connection! I will bbl...hope everyone is staying safe and having a good day, RobinMD

Oops, I missed your post, Jana... Great idea to get your proper office chair. That should help. I totally agree with having the window available, too. I am still trying to decide exactly where I want to set up. I definitely can't do it in the living room, because while I was on a virtual visit this morning, the dogs went running outside, baying at the tops of their lungs....geez. I think the loft is definitely the area to be, I just need to set up a proper height table to put the computer on. This is going to be through the month of April for sure, and we just don't know after that.

Hello Everyone---Trying to figure out what to get into today. It is chilly and starting to sprinkle. I made a quick run to the grocery store. I need to exercise, but I would really like to just go back to bed...and maybe I will - ha! I watched a video on how to make the hospital-type masks. I don't have any cotton, but I found a shirt that I am not very fond of (and it would not bother me in the least to cut it up) and I have elastic, so maybe I will try to make a couple. I don't think I am up for mass sewing like some of the ladies in my neighborhood, but I could no doubt make a couple.
Jana - Thanks for starting us.... I went back and read our opening statement and thought about the "Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key" sentence. I thought this is also true, not just of weight loss, but also of our current situation and it gave me comfort.
Lora - thanks for the reminder that I HAVE (well, DH ha) cushions to pad his chair, driver's seat, etc. and I can use one of them when I am doing floor exercises on the hardwood floors. The yoga mat is just not thick enough...and I am wearing the skin off of my coccyx - ha!
RobinMD - sounds like you are busy today...hope you get everything set up so you can relax a little.
OK...off to exercise or work on my puzzle or something. My positive thought is that I may be bored, but I am safe and warm (and for me that is A LOT).

Janet, sounds like things worked out well for you with that tablet delivery. I hope the kids enjoy working with them, it has to be harder on the kids than it is on the adults.
Jana, glad you worked something out with your office chair. Sorry you are still in pain. Is this because of the gardening? I heard that about Virginia yesterday, finally, after we were talking about that kind of thing. I guess you use 2 monitors, which I do also. When they started restricting workers in the offices in NYC back on March 12th, my DS immediately said he had to work from home because of his pregnant wife, and went to IT and took home 2 monitors. Others didn't think so fast, so I don't think got them.
Lora, rain again, sorry, it seems like you get a lot of rain there. It is dingy looking here, but no rain.
RobinMD, so annoying when you lose power, or internet, when you are at work. Glad you will work from home. I was surprised that MD just started that. I thought they would have done it longer ago. I guess that is why my friend's DD, who is an OBGYN there, posted a long missive when I thanked people on Facebook for signing the petition about birthing partners. I told her that seeing as both my DS & DDIL had been working from home for so long already, I didn't think there would be a problem. I am more worried about them catching something in the hospital, but they thankfully have N95 masks that my brother was able to get for them for that day.
If you want something interesting to do, if you remember the old recipe chain letters, this morning I got a Quarantine Recipe Chain email. It asks to email a recipe to the top one on the list, and your name to the bottom, remove the top one, and forward to someone. Cute idea, so I did that. I sent my chicken piccata recipe. Of course for those who have dietary restrictions it's not a great thing, but otherwise it is.
Today I ran our last full payroll, and we had to tell 2 of the people that we would not pay them any more until we knew what was going on. DS is still going to work from home and get paid, and hopefully things will work out. We can do some work, but not a lot.

Hi Everyone, Robin Md, I hope that everything that goes smoothly tommorow with your calls. I was having problems this afternoon with a conference call with the nephrologist. We finally got connected and talked. I hate selfies of me. Ugh!! But she was very satisfied with the results of my lab work. The creatine was normal last time when I had work with the new doctor. I couldnt join the room. Finally I just downloaded the app again. I dont know if that even made a difference. I made one delivery to the one girl who was so far from the others. I am very glad we didnt go there yesterday. Tonight I finally got hold of the boy who causes so much trouble. The thing I realized that I think that I hadnt dialed a 1 before the number. It is a Delaware number so they should have said something about that before dialing. I thought let me try one more time and did call 1 before the other number and it went thru to her. I sent her emails too. She said she hadnt been checking them so she could have checking and if she had I would have given her my number. The invitation that I sent to her for the class communication she thought was spam so deleted that. Tommorow I am going to her place to drop it off. Have a restful night!
