June yes the sunshine lasted throughout the walk For that I'm most grateful! We are supposed to have rain later. If that happens, I'll walk indoors...if not, I'll chance it and perhaps will be just as lucky second time around. Will CBL

I've used Zoom twice, a practice session with my daughter and then one with the therapist. The executive board of our club is scheduled to use Zoom next Monday. It is a lot better than meeting in person. I used the discount grocery store for Instacart because they had more items available. Trader Joes and Whole Foods do not participate. The groceries will be delivered later in the day toward evening which is fine with me. Lowered expectations are good these days Susi, I think it would be difficult for Cheryl to be in good spirits. At least you can communicate with her.

MJ - Extra prayers for all. I need to get some butterfly bushes. June - Cheryl doesn't trust online banking although there are a few things she will pay by phone. I will continue to use Zoom for my meetings but will take to family and friends individually. And yes, fresh produce makes a difference. Ann - Even though Carol and I continue to do things together, we to keep some space between us. That's a great bunch of wins Bee! Becky - Yes today is work from home. I go in MWF but only for about 2 hours and bring the rest of the work home. Audrey - Definitely safer than meeting in person at the moment. She definitely is not in good spirits but she finally signed on to play Words With Friends. When she doesn't, I know she is down. Payroll arrived so I need to buckle down and work.

Long up date this morning. The snow has started, so even if I could leave the house, I wouldn’t😊 Over all, yesterday was a wonderful day. Dh and dd were able to get to Target and found everything on the list including tp. She goes in and does the shopping then dh goes in to help her with $ etc.
Our doctor called in the afternoon and chatted with both of us. Luckily the end of Feb I’d had a follow up for my cataract surgery and also saw my rheumatologist who scheduled X-rays for my knee that has been an issue. My primary care was concerned that I’m not falling any more, which I’m I haven’t. So glad I didn’t have to leave the house. The doc was glad as well.
KOKO with tracking, hydrating and smiling as I move toward blue. Have a great day everyone.

I was able to get into my regular meeting. I only saw our coach and one member that I recognized. Still...it was nice to see familiar faces. It's still not raining out there but it's very windy. I managed to get in two pretty good hood walks. Now it's time to kick back and relax. Audrey I wish our area had that service available. We can only take advantage of the senior hours here. I know what you mean by lowered expectations Susi we didn't see anyone on our two walks today. Yesterday we did and people were very cautious of giving others space which we fully appreciated. Nice that you have someone to walk with at a distance Hope payroll goes well. Hi Bee. Pam sounds like you have a good system going with DH and DD shopping. So happy that you were able to 'visit' your doctor from the comfort of your home. I spoke too soon...it IS raining now. Think I'll get jammified and read a bit. Stay safe all.....

Pam, great chat with your doctor. You worked out a good system for grocery shopping. Instacart worked well for us today. The young shopper had to make 5 substitutions but I approved each one such as 2 3lb bags of Fuji apples because they were out of a 5 lb bag. I let her substitute frozen green beans for out of stock fresh ones because it is always good to have a vegetable on hand. Everything arrived at 2 pm.

So here I am trying to eat well. The phone rings. It's a neighbor offering to deliver bread custard. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ... It really hurt to turn that down. I don't eat bread pudding, but I do love bread custard.
