What can you do to stay healthy today?

I can eat mindfully, hydrate and move a lot. The weather is pleasant and I will enjoy walking outdoors. I will continue to drink water with my meals and eat healthy balanced meals. I will also jot down a list of things to do to give purpose to my day. Yesterday I placed our first Instacart order so I will let you know how it works out. Itβs an online grocery order site and there were several local stores on the site. I chose one that seems to have the most products available.

Audrey happy you have that way of shopping available to you. Hopefully it will be a good fit. Tomorrow we are in for showers. I will try to walk when it's clear. My plan is to PTMH and KOKO. I spoke to a few friend via phone and text which helped. Stay safe and sweet dreams.

I can do my best...or at least do better than yesterday Today we will have mjudra for lunch with a salad using lettuce from the garden. Mjudra is lentils and rice flavored with fried onions. I like a garlicky lemon salad dressing on the salad and put that on top of the lentils and rice and it reminds me a bit of a tostada
AUDREY: Let us know how putting the grocery order turns out for you.
ANN: Hope the weather clears so you can go for a walk. Loved your comment on counting your blessings
SUSI: Your plan sounds good for dealing with doing Cheryl's laundry. How do you disinfect the car on the inside? Just curious Hope you were able to get out for the bike ride. Does Cheryl have her cell phone with her? If she let you you could take photos of bills or important letters and send them by phone.
JUNE: I think my daughter's campus is using Zoom. She said it was okay but she didn't feel it went as well as when you are in a classroom. I can understand that. It must be scary to be in a place with a higher incidence of covid-19 cases and it being a hot spot! Stay safe! I often remember my dreams. Some are MUCH better than others!
MJ: My daughter purchased soil to amend the garden area she plans to plant...and fertilizer, too. She also had gravel delivered to distribute on their long driveway. I think they need to hand spread the gravel themselves...sounds like a lot of work!
BEE: Here's to an energy filled productive day for you! Now, if you had a circular bed you could leave it in the middle of the room and put your head anywhere on the bed Glad you got it put where you want it to be.
LADONNA: How nice that Laken had Lucy picked out and ready to bring home long before you all were aware it would happen. Such a bright light she must be at the moment. I hope there is no need for the valve surgery BUT I think not having so many family members (if any) in the hospitals now might make it almost easier for nurses to care for patients. I know my BIL is on his own without my sister in the room with him and so far all is well. That said...hope you do not need surgery anytime soon.
BECKY: Hooray for having the bandage off and making strides (literally, too) with your healing!
Glad all is well with you and yours, Pam!
Okay...need to go slice onions and start them frying in olive oil. Also will put the lentils on and ask hubby if he wants brown or white rice OR bulgur in the mjudra this time.

Audrey - Good plan. I hope Instacart works for you. Ann - Sorry your forecast is not great. Staying in touch is definitely a big social help. Yum Cathy! Cheryl is on her own for now. Can't say I am too upset about that for me but I feel so bad for her. I did offer to take photos of her bills but she said no. I think that is a bit of a knee jerk reaction to her circumstances and she will reconsider in a few day. I am in, planned and tracked for breakfast and lunch. Still need to work on dinner. Tomorrow Carol and I are getting sushi take out for dinner. I'm looking forward to that.

Good morning, Audrey - Ann - Cathy - Susi - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... and for Son#1 and DSonIL.
Today is Autism Awareness Day... mega props and prayers for any teachers trying to present virtual lessons, and to the parents who are trying to homeschool their children... our MrLogan (although not diagnosed as on the spectrum) has sensory issues and an IEP, and Son#2 & DDIL have said how challenged they feel, trying to homeschool him.
ππ΅ππππ΅π <miss my monkeys> ππ΅ππππ΅π.
The sun's already out βοΈ! It's going to be another lovely day; the rain's holding off until tomorrow.
We went to the farmer's market yesterday and were even able to pick up a couple of things for the MousekeHouse (it's amazing how romaine and strawberries and eggs can help things feel more normal). Our regular grocery list is quite short with nothing urgent so will probably be deferred.
I worked in the garden for over two hours yesterday, and Toots was out there later for one more. We got the butterfly bush transplanted and I also pruned the roses under our bedroom window. That butterfly bush is a rogue plant that somehow sprouted up at the edge of the butterfly garden, eventually blocking the path to the cellarway. While the original bush has dark blue flowers, the rogue has WHITE flowers. We've moved it to the front garden, which we are also trying to develop for butterflies. We also see the echinacea/coneflower starting to sprout up and will move a few of them as well.
I'm still sorting out my sleep but I'm not worrying about it at this point. We are being more mindful of our evening TV watching - we need to time our British mysteries so that we're not running too far past 11 PM. It will settle out.
Coffee... βββ... now...
π±ππ£ππ±ππ£ππ±ππ£ππ±ππ£ππ± Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! π±ππ£ππ±ππ£ππ±ππ£ππ±ππ£ππ±

Audrey Thx for the start! Glad that you have a delivery service available. Did you choose Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, or a grocery chain? Susi You are a good friend to offer an alternative and to understand her reaction has nothing to do w/ you. Perhaps Cheryl could do some of her own banking online? Maybe that would give her some sense of control?
Cathy Sounds like you have another tasty meal planned. Not sure what I think of Zoom. I read that it is not encrypted at both ends of the transmission. So I am hesitant about jumping on the bandwagon. I just do not know enough about internet security.
Feeling like being aware of the local risk is helpful. It will be a reminder that all the precautions save lives. Myself, I suspected that our area had potential for having higher incidents. We are on an e-w nexus from NYC to San Francisco and n-s nexus from the Great Lakes to FL or GA. Our county is adjacent to population sets in which distrust of authority is the norm. Haha ha... I am getting tried of being right.
Ann yes, talking to friends makes a difference. I actually used FT, which is never do. We have sunshine on the forecast. Should be a chance for an out door activities.

Good Thursday morning all. Today I shall try to get into my regular virtual meeting. It will be nice to see who's there. Seeing as our meeting was a very small one, I'm sure there will be a lot of new faces. We signed up for a trial of Netflix yesterday and watched our first episode of Stranger Things. It was pretty good and kept my mind 'occupied' MJ yes it's those 'little things' that we are able to get that really make a difference and put a smile on our face. Keeping you and your family in my prayers ((hugs)) Susi so sorry for Cheryl. Nice that you and Carol have activities and a meal planned to share. Here Carl and I remain very isolated. It's a good thing we enjoy our own company Cathy your meal sounds good tasty and healthy. Enjoy. Time to finish up my online tasks and have coffee. I'm hoping to get at least one walk in. Perhaps it won't rain after all Waving to AWF and wishing all a great day. Stay safe!

June you jumped in while I was posting. Not sure of that either re: Zoom. Good point. I do feel that I need to see 'faces' so I'll continue until I can't access it any longer Enjoy your day.

Mj The butterfly garden sounds lovely. Hope it attracts many butterflies. Interesting about the rogue butterfly bush. Fresh produce does make a big difference. Last week Aldi's had strawberries for 99cents. Yum!
I would like to do some painting, but lowe's & HDepot have been bananas. So I will settle for other tasks.
Do you watch,"Vera"? It's not a mystery, but "DocMartin" is a quirky British show. it's pretty good as long as you do not overthink the stereotypes.

Audrey, glad the weather is nice and you can get outside to walk. Does the Instacart deliver or do you have to pick it up?
Ann, sounds like a good plan. Stay as dry as possible. Hope you get into your virtual meeting.
Cathy, that dish sounds good. I love lentils. LOL I did sleep on a round bed once, and didn't like it.
Susi, hope it's a good day. Tomorrow's dinner sounds great.
MJ, sounds like yesterday was productive for you and Toots. How is the Mouseketeer doing?
June, times they is a changing --- and doing so fast. Hope it's a good day.
I have been so AWARE, WILLING and ABLE the last few days, my stomach wonders what is going on. BUT the result is I am more energetic, lost a couple of pounds, and feel good.
Hope AWF have a great day!

checking back. . .
Ann Hope that is some sunshine in your day even if you have to make your own!
Bee Yes, they are. Glad that you have more pep and fewer pounds!
Mj Being aware of Mousekeeter's uniqueness will help. I forget what you wrote exactly about a technique that was successful for focusing his energy. Maybe you or his parents can recall what it was and tap into that.
