Passing through. Allergies have flared and head is unhappy. Even the cloudy day yesterday hurt my eyes. Slept all day and stayed up all night. I am turning into a vampire. Read all posts but head won’t allow personal replies.
Take care, everyone.

Becky, I don't blame you for shedding those uncomfortable compression things. Yes, by now the chances have to be about to zero on complications. Neosporin is a good idea for those tender spots. It had to feel good to do even a little walking outdoors. Are you sore today? I know what you mean about the church services that are going on. In fact, the FL governor has them on the list of "essential services". I heard this morning that there was a service in TX or GA last Sunday where they bussed people in and then the minister encouraged the congregation to shake hands to show they were not afraid of the virus. I hope he gets sued by those people who contracted the virus in such a foolish way. A lot of the cases in rural SW GA are being attributed to people attending just one church service.
It's so sad that you and DM have to go to such lengths to share grocery orders without coming in contact with one another, Kathy. But it's the smart thing to do. I had also made the Groundhog's Day analogy. Was this a Jazzercise day? I did the rowing machine this morning but am having to take it a little easy on weights because I seem to have pulled the muscles attached to my lower ribs somehow.
Chele, sorry about the head. Hope it will get happy again soon and you're back to being a lark instead of a night owl very soon. Do you think it's tree pollen? That seems to be high here but it's not the stuff I'm allergic to yet.
Linda, I loved that cartoon about getting out of bed because I'm late for the couch. That feels like me. I was texting with a GF last night and she rattled off all the projects she has in progress but said they would be completed by the end of April and then she would be counting boards on the floor. I told her I was already there. How was last night's German dinner?
Sending good vibes, Liz!
Yesterday evening I logged into FB just to check the status of a friend's DH who had rather delicate back surgery yesterday. Before I got to her "all is well" post, I found out that one of my basset rescue friends died suddenly on Monday evening and 2 friends from NC are sick and tested postive for Covid-19; they seem to be recovering and have not been hospitalized (yet). Haven't heard if my friend died of corona, had a heart attack, or something else. She was salt of the earth. Her daughter is about 20 and has issues, she had 2 aging bassets in poor health, and had recently rescued a pregnant feral cat whose kittens have all been placed in homes and is enjoying life as a house cat. So her husband has his hands full. I'm still in a state of shock that she's gone. Dale gave me the news this morning that we are actually getting a tax refund, so hopefully today is setting up to be better than yesterday was. Hope all of you are having a good day.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele Feel better soon.
Karen Yesterday was a better day pain wise.I am trying to walk my 3 laps in the house every hour and the 3rd seems to hurt a little more.Believe me my laps aren't very long.Abbott has them on the list of essential services as long as you do the social distancing which I think is still being an idiot.I don't believe that busing was done in TX. While Austin still isn't practicing what Adler wants them to do I haven't heard of any mass gatherings anywhere in TX.The preacher in LA was also issued a misdemeanor citation.I'm sorry about your friend who died and for the friends who have contracted the virus.
A group of UT students went to Mexico for spring break and at first they thought 28 had tested positive but now 44 have tested positive. It was a case of either the parents or the students not being able to get a refund.Stupid people. The parents need their parent cards revoked if they value their money over their child's safety.

Becky, I caught something about UT students in Mexico on spring break and some tested positive, but I didn't hear how many. YIKES!! So, the kids went because the trip was non-refundable?? You're right about having their parent cards revoked if the parents went along with it. I wonder how much pressure the parents were under from kids who thought they were immune. Did you hear how many of them had symptoms? They have even had babies die from this virus, so I wish everyone would get a clue that anybody and everybody is at risk right now.
Take it a little easy on the laps if it's causing pain. It's going to take you a while to get back to 10K steps.

Karen, thanks for the start. Very sorry to hear about your basset hound friend and the friends that have tested positive. That's so sad for everyone and it does sound like her DH has his hands full. The flowers in your picture are pretty. What kind are they? You might know, after I mentioned the county not being out to mow, they came out the next day. So, the wildflowers are gone for now, but I'm sure they'll be back. My DM's yard always gets some really pretty pink dandelions, but I haven't seen them this year. Then again, I haven't seen much of her yard lately. She was complaining about rascally squirrels eating her hibiscus flowers. I guess they're a sweet treat for them. I didn't do Jazzercise today, but I'm planning on doing the next session which I think is Saturday. I need to check the schedule. I have it on demand too, but the live ones are a bit more fun. Ouch on the ribs. Hope they don't take too long to heal. Our county put out a map showing cases by zip code and even named the regions in the zip codes for areas that have hot spots. My zip code has 3 confirmed cases so far. There are hot spots downtown and near the airport, plus one to the south of the university where there is a lot of student housing. The map is scary since you can really see how it's spreading. Someone asked why the airport was still open and they said it would take action at the federal level to shut it down. Chele, hope you're feeling better soon. Our temps nosedived into the 50s last night which means my AC wasn't running. That always seems to kick off my allergies, but they cleared up pretty quickly after I was up awhile. Hoping for the same for you.
Linda, I'm sure you're right about the collection baskets being a big factor for churches that continue to have services. That cartoon was spot on. I have tons of projects I could work on, but just haven't felt motivated.
Becky, glad the pain has improved. That's unbelievable on the parents allowing their kids to go to Mexico. I heard there were a lot of people at South Padre Island too and of course, all the idiots in Florida.
Liz, thinking of you all the time. Stay safe.

Becky, you seem to be progressing well.
Chele, i hear you on allergies. i have to work at not coughing on sinus drip tomorrow for my last gel shot. I will wear the cloth mask I got for pollen a couple years ago and wash it....mainly so if I cough it won't panic anyone. Be glad to have that done. other knee due around Thanksgiving...fear the virus will be back for flu season.
Karen, such sad news. We are at almost 900 cases in our large county which includes fifth largest American city...4 million. lately the bigger percentages are in ages under 40. We have 19 under age 19. Yup..the young flocked to spring break and bars and have ignored distancing as an old people's thing. It took til Thursday night for gov to tell people to stay home. but he considers getting nails and hair done essential services.those workers do not want ti work, but with no order, their rest cones due and no employment help.Golf is also essential. the resorts still have guests and golfers.
I was going to finish up cleaning with good job in kitchen until DH decided since it is getting warmer..maybe 90 tomorrow, the canned goods need to come inside out of the garage. He carried them...I got to move stuff, get cabinet space, organize it, and rearrange pantry. not fun. We have a fair amount because some things I get anyway in large lots like paper stuff or by case or large sets from Costco..broth, diced tomatoes, beans, tuna, canned chicken. I hate making trips to Costco, so I get a lot. Fortunately I stocked up also because of his surgery and not being sure about how long I would be caregiving .We added canned veg when things started getting weird.
I hope there is a semi normal span late summer into fall at least. wonder when toilet paper willstop being such a challenge.
