Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Feel free to jump in and join us. All are welcome here.
Our motto is persistence, not perfection.

Early morning post for me. Jana, Sorry that you have to put up with that from your DF. I am sure he does not mean to be hurtful, but just thinks he is being funny. I know in the coming weeks as you spend even more time inside it will become even more difficult.
Lora, so glad you were able to sit and relax, and enjoy your manicured lawn and fresh air. We ended up with a pretty nice day yesterday weather wise, but I didn't leave the house other than for a dog walk, but did have some phone conversation and texts with friends and relatives. I had some chopped meat I had to use, so got ahead by making my meatloaf for tonight. I am getting ready to just have a holiday for 2 on Wednesday and Thursday night. I want to stop this morning for some fresh vegetables. On your plan, I know there are certain vegetables I know you eat, but do you limit others?
Has anyone been in touch with Andi? I know she said she didn't think she would be posting, but I am a little worried about her. Sometimes it's good to use things like Houseparty or Zoom to connect. My brother organized a Zoom for one side of my family, there were between 15 & 20 of us on, from as far away as Israel and the Baja Penninsula. I have been using Houseparty with a bunch of girlfriends, we have a glass of wine or a drink, and "get together" at 5:30 for a cocktail party.

Good morning and Happy Monday friends.
It looks to be another pretty day here. The sun is bright , there are a few puffy white clouds and the birds are singing. I don't have anything really news worth at the moment, just happy to be alive and well on this beautiful day.
I'll check back in later. Be smart and be safe.

Good morning. Happy Monday.
Day 9 million of quarantine...………. that is what it feels like to me anyway. LOL I know it hasn't been that long but I really dislike this. I am a mix of extrovert and introvert - I love being around people but I need my recovery time too. Right now I am missing my friends and being able to go out and hang out with them. I did enjoy the drive bys over the weekend but I want more. I am such a brat.
Work this week promises to be interesting. I have a conference call tomorrow with the managers in the region about community investments. I am on the team this year and I enjoy the team. I was partnered with someone and she doesn't seem like she has time for it. It is a little frustrating. I don't want to feel like I am stepping on any toes but I just do not get any input from her on it.
Later this week I have my budget review for March with my team. That is always a fun time - NOT.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

Hi Everyone, I was up fairly early but still in my pjs. I guess soon I will get dressed. I got onto the training system early and completed one training. Its hard to find trainings in the areas they want us to do because they dont update them so the choices are slim as I've have already completed most of them. I have to finish the assessment part though. I should do it soon I guess as Friday it kept crashing. I imagine because a lot of teachers are probably doing them since they are at home. Later I may take a walk or go back to exchange something but may have to call first because I just remembered a lot of places arent allowing returns. If that is the case I will buy the two boxes for me I guess and maybe donate one of them. I really dont eat that much cereal and I bought two big boxes. Have a great day!

Jana, my friends and I downloaded an app called Houseparty. Most days, at 5:30, we get a glass of wine or drink, and get on Houseparty to chat. We usually have up to 6 of us, and it looks like you are facetiming with 6 people at once. I have also reached out to more people by phone, and they have reached out to me. Phone conversations for now have to take the place, but it does really seem to be dragging.
Janet, teachers surely don't have it easy these days, but think of the parents, they have it pretty hard with this too.
Lora, glad you are having good weather today.

Hello Everyone...I got a text before I was even out of bed that fabric was waiting for me on a neighbor's bench ready to be cut into 7 x 9 in squares for face masks...we are over 600 made and delivered now in my neighborhood. So I got up, dressed and went to pick up the fabric. Then I tried to complete my exercise video made by my favorite exercise instructor, but before I finished it was time for my LLI "Healthy Recipes" over zoom. When that was finished, I got something to eat (it was now 11:30) and then headed upstairs where I am set up to cut the fabric. I cut out 42 today...my space is not the best and wearing rubber gloves and a mask and trying to do it all on my ironing board is not the best set up, but I have the puzzle I am working on covering the dining room table....I was so tired when I was finished that I had to lie down....Do you think I am bored....No Way. I was telling DD about my day and she said, "Mom, you do not have to do everything that you are doing." I think I will take her advice and chill tomorrow.
Jana - had to laugh at day 9 million...and you are NOT a brat! I loved that you drove to your friend's house and sang Happy Birthday from the car.
Lora - Enjoy this beautiful day listening to the birds sing and looking at your yard...all mowed and beautiful
Janet - a wonderful idea to donate the cereal.
RobinS - a surprise to see you here so early....I am used to seeing you in the evening. The HouseParty app is a great idea. I will be zooming with my bridge group tomorrow evening.
I think I will see if I can read for a few and then settle down to watch TV...DH is sitting in the garage with the door open reading...it is beautiful today.
