I’ve planned my meals to include protein, fruit, vegetables and healthy oil. I almost always have a big salad every night. I will KOKO with movement and water. We may have a few rain showers but it should be a pleasant day. I have to do cleaning after breakfast ( didn’t I just do that?) and I have a teleconference with the therapist at 3:30. Dinner will be turkey burgers, grilled onions, roasted asparagus and salad. I hope we all have a good day.

I can be present, focused and positive...food will happen. I made the vegan kibbeh, oven fries and hummus for lunch yesterday and there are leftovers so will have hummus and kibbeh in pita bread for a meal with some lettuce or pickles and the other meal will probably be whole wheat pasta with beans and tomato sauce with some cheese and mexican spices. I am hoping we will have some fresh greens from the garden at some point today or tomorrow...we will see.
Last night I went to bed after 1am and saw water on the bathroom floor...thought the toilet might be leaking but water dripped on my shoulder. Looked up and saw drops hanging and falling from the air vent in the ceiling and water collecting inside the ceiling light fixture. There is a storage space above the bathroom ceiling that has an old water heater/tank inside so perhaps it rusted through or something? There is some water up there. We have pots and bowls underneath catching drips. It is not a major problem requiring a plumber so won't call one. It is noisy at night so might move into a different room to sleep tonight if it is still dripping.
AUDREY: Like your goals...missing some of the fresh produce variety but still do have wild edibles so won't complain.
SUSI: Which Wizard of Oz version would you watch? Your marinade/brine for the veggies sounds tasty! I think my friend who goes out more than she should wears a mask...not sure about gloves. She had cancer and survived so perhaps she thinks she is invincible?
ANN: How nice the fans under the house help you sleep! My sister often has a fan whirring as white noise that helps her sleep. I have never pretracked...sounds wise but I never know what I will be eating so... Glad you are enjoying walks. Hope the insurance people wear masks and keep a distance!
JUNE: I wonder if anyone is chronicling the days of the pandemic. I did keep a "Rumors of War" journal while in Saudi Arabia in the days before the Gulf War began...didn't think of it this time but my log would be fairly much the same from one day to the next.
LADONNA: I agree with you on staying home. My brother and niece both work at the hospital. They disrobe at the door, put their clothes into the washing machine, shower and put on clean clothes. My sister says she uses the OR protocol she learned long ago when out and about then returning home. I am sure niece is being vigilant when she returns home from work. A classmate of mine and my sister's brother-in-law is just home from ICU having tested positive for covid-19. He survived but it wasn't pleasant. He is a psychiatrist in Aspen and wasn't in known contact with a person who had the disease...crazy times! You made me smile with the comment about being afraid to move with Lucy sleeping at your feet.
MJ: It sounds like you are keeping busy even though your vehicle is staying home and not taxiing people around How nice to have family sending photos of what they are doing and also that you are able to stay in touch with your various groups to maintain some sense of schedule/order.
BEE: Interesting that your appetite is less now.
PAM: Waving from across the ocean...
BECKY: Ask your PT for a list of the exercises...if he has them on his tablet he can send them to you via email or WhatsApp, I bet.

Good morning all. Slept well last night Today will just be more of the same with PTMH and KOKO. Cathy I hope you get the water problems solved. Sending soothing vibes and prayers your way. Yes, the men did have masks on for which I was very grateful. It may be protocol at their place of employment. June happy you found all that was on your list and that the waterproofing problem was one that R could fix. Audrey great goals. LOL on 'didn't I just do that'? Seems like I spend a lot of time disinfecting these days. Enjoy the teleconference. Thanks for getting us started today. Waving to all and will CBL

Our governor announced that the curve seems to flattening a bit. Sure hope he's right.
They have opened the Bonnet Carré Spillway to alleviate the Mississippi River. It will crest at 17' tomorrow.
I am caught up on diva chores, so after I shampoo my hair, it is gonna be a fun day. Reading, starting a new jigsaw puzzle, and soaking up any sun that shows up.
Will be back later for personals.

Good morning....
Audrey You day sounds like it has a healthy balance in all ways. Turkey burgers are one of my favs.
Cathy Mmmm... you have lots of tasty options for meals today. W/ some daylight, your DH may be able to see what the "fix" is. When I read about your situation, a few things popped into mind: 1) resiliency and resourcefulness are goods tools in life. 2) many problems that present themselves at night are better dealt with in the morning. 3) Cathy cooks a lot-- lucky to have all those pots and pans.
Someone, somewhere is journaling but maybe not in a traditional way. Alfred Crosby was the historian who first wrote about the biological consequence of 1492. He also wrote about the1918 flu.
Ann Glad that you had pleasant night and have awoken fully refreshed. Hope there is a hood walk in your day.
Was lucky that R could do the work. When he dug it up, he found what he expected & an additional problem.
Susi Hope you had a nice ride andthat your org goes smoothly.

Susi Here's some encouraging news. In OH we have flattened the curve in beyond the best projection of models. Fingers crossed that people here understand why & continue to follow public measures.
Bee What a nice day stretching out before you. I wish I had a real jigsaw puzzle to work. (See there are digital ones). Have seen the Mississippi at flood level-- scary sight. Hope that the floodgates do their jobs.
LaDonna Yay for anOP day andanother one to follow! Have been fortunate w/ supplies. Have been hankering for tacos. Put it on the menu list for this week. Have to decide if we will use venison, ground beef, or ground turkey.

Have another great day LaDonna June - Good goals. Glad R can fix the problem. That is good news. Today would have been Tony's 58th birthday. This morning I took his beloved Thurlo basketball socks (which I kept all these years) and turned them into masks for Carol and me. Hoping to see the super moon tonight.

Back again before I begin my day. Coffee and breakfast are done, my day is planned and tracked and I want to add today to my string of OP days once again. I stuck to my plan yesterday and was rewarded nicely on the scale this morning Bee sounds like you have a wonderful day planned. I too am taking the 'day off' to do just as I please. I know I'll get a good walk in. Carl offered to grille the pork chops. I'll throw together a quick coleslaw or salad and that will be supper. I have some rice already cooked so may add that to the mix. Susi so happy you also slept well. (((Hugs))) What a wonderful way to keep Tony alive. Also hoping to see the super moon tonight. It was beautiful last night. June enjoy doing your laundry. Ours is piling up! I'll have my work cut out for me later in the week. Until then, I shall only do what's absolutely necessary. My body mind and spirit need a break Sounds like you have a busy day planned. Waving to all....... LaDonna I'll be thinking of you as we string along another OP day Enjoy your chores
