Good morning, Audrey - June - Cathy - Ann - Susi - Bee - LaDonna - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family...
{{{Susi}}}
💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞 <miss my monkeys> 💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞.
We are going to head out to the grocery store this morning, comprehensive list in hand and masks at the ready. Toots believes that the impending holy days will cause a surge in shopping later in the week - a rise in shopper volume and a decline in attitude. He may be right. I'll let you know how things go.
Yesterday's garden work = this morning's sleep-in. Works for us.
I've had my coffee... ☕☕☕... and breakfast...
🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱

Susi Big,big hug. "Feeling" that Tony would love the idea of protecting you and Carol. Hope that you have many happy memories-- some that you have thought of for years-- brings i,es to your face. Also hope that I can see the moon. Super moons are always so memorizing to me.
Ann Good to know when you need a break, and then to give it to yourself. Yay! You are on a roll! Laudry is only one ex large load, since I did oneextra large load yesterday. Love having a commercial size washer.

Mj Good luck w/ your shopping expedition. I think that Toots is right about the holiday shopping and likely deterioration of behavior.
Our county just opened a drive up testing center. It opened yesterday to first responders. GLad to hear that it is in place even though test kits are limited.
Ann 💞 Yes, you do.

June I was craving Mexican and did taco bowls last night. They were quite tasty. I'm hoping we do get a little rain as forecasted to calm the pollen.
((((SUSI)))) how special those masks will be:)
Ann, I'm going to do something easy as well for the family. Hot dogs and suddenly pasta salad. I don't know if I'll eat that we'll see. If I do it will be measured and counted!
MJ, you and Toots be careful out there.
Lucy and I got outside this morning and I let Laken sleep in. I pulled weeds out of the rock/firepit area and raked around the back patio. Lucy had a big time jumping on the rake, eating sticks, chasing bees, etc. LOL She is a hot mess. The area sure does look better but I sure do need some flowers. I may see if Lowes has curb side pick up available.

Cathy, I hope you can solve the dripping water issue. We once had water above the bathroom break the ceiling! It was a mess. You have great food choices today. June, I am glad R could solve the waterproofing problems. Bee, enjoy your fun day. Susi, what a great way to keep Tony's memory alive. How did you use socks for a mask? LaDonna, we have had the shelter in place order since mid March and CA is not expected to peak until sometime in May. Continue with your OP days. Ann, great dinner tonight. Bob wanted to get pork chops from the grocery store and he doesn't realize we have them in the freezer. I need to find them for him. MJ, I agree with the shopping getting worse at the end of the week.
I need to drop things off at the mailbox store and deposit checks at the ATM but first I will mop the kitchen floor. The days are monotonous at times.
Tomorrow is Theo's 6th birthday. We will Face Time. I hope we can all see the super moon.

Good luck shopping MJ. I hope Toots is wrong about the extra crowds but I just don't need enough yet to justify. Yes he would have June. He was as protective of Carol as he was of me. Enjoy laundry Happy early birthday to Theo, Audrey. Hope you find those pork chops. Here's the video I used. My socks were too short, but the tube portion of Tony's worked perfectly. They are washable and you just have to replace the paper towels or use coffee filters www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMYII7ccTbM

(((Susi))) great video. Thanks for that. I am sure that Tony is pleased to still being a good protector. LOL Audrey. Carl is the same way. I can't tell you how many times he buys hamburg when we have a cows worth already frozen!!!!! With Theo a happy 6th bday. LaDonna your supper sound delish. I love hotdogs. Last time we had them I really splurged and had it with stouffers mac and cheese Pointy but oh so good. I can picture little miss Lucy frolicking in the yard Cool that they have a drive up testing place nearby, June. Nothing like being prepared. Not sure where the closest one to us is. I decided to make some meat sauce. Went into the freezer and found some already cooked sausage and hamburg (that Carl didn't see) and added it to the instant pot with tomatoes, onions garlic and spices. I also added a splash of wine. It's a throw as I go type of deal lol...but I'm sure it will be tasty. Once it's done I'll separate it and keep some out for us for another meal at another time and freeze the rest. These days are getting very long. I'd go for another walk, but the street sweepers are in our community doing the roads and there is a lot of dust flying around. Now way will I walk in that!

LaDonna
Bet your yard looks much nicer.
I can just picture you trying to work and the pup thinking that you, your tools, and your activity all= PUPPY PLAY TIME! Would have loved to have had a picture of that. Puppies just have so much energy to burn. Hopefully that you can find a local nursery or a Lowe's that will do curbside. Last year my sister planted the wildflowers eed packet that dad got fromon eof many charities he supported. They were so lovely. And K,who has mom's gift for arranging, made beautiful flower arrangements for mom. I was tempted to pickup some seeds to plant.
Audrey Looking for something inthe chest freezer is soooooo much fun. NOT! Sometimes I make a list of what's there. But lately I have decided that R can make the first attempt at looking for an item. Easier on me.
Hope that you find the pork chops quickly. Ann We have been trying to use up some of the frozen, precooked foods. So I thawed a package of meatballs w/ rigatonas. I just need to make a little more spaghetti tonight & a salad.

Audrey Good luck with your teleconference.
June Glad R was able to fix the program and that you found everything on your list.
Cathy Yes food can happen.I hope the water leak is an easy and not a costly fix.
Ann Glad you slept well. I have been sleeping okay but I haven't felt refreshed when I wake up.
Susi It's good you can get out and ride your bike.
Bee I hope your curve is flattening a bit.Our governor said ours is bending yet Texas has a horrible rating re social distancing and care so I don't know how that is possible.Enjoy your fun day.
Susi I hope so too.

So far our neighbors two doors down have taken down and shredded a tree and the next door neighbor's lawn service was blowing things around. <sniffle><sniffle> <sneeze><sneeze>. But I want to go dig in the dirt a bit. Decisions, decisions.
The grocery run was interesting. There were a lot of empty shelves in many aisles but I don't know if that's lack of stock or lack of workers. We are missing a couple of things from our list and paid more than usual for other substitutions. In any case, we're all set for the coming week <fingers crossed that the romaine will last>.
I watched the moon rise last night - it was positioned just perfectly in the window by my computer - fascinating to watch its progress. Tonight's view will depend on how densely and how soon the rainclouds come in.

LaDonna I'm glad you slept well also and here's to another OP day.Our governor never did really order a real stay in place order but he finally came out and said except for essential services. He is closing all the state parks and historical sites at 5:00 today.
June I'm glad Ohio is doing well in flattening to curve.Ours isn't supposed to peak until the end of the month but if people wouldn't hang out as much as they do it would be a lot better.I hope you were able to walk and glad you have healthy choices.
(((Susi))) I know Tony would be happy the way you used his socks.
MJ I hope you are able to get everything you need.I think Friday will be busier at the store.Glad you were able to sleep in.
June Nice to have a commercial size washer.
Ann I hope you enjoyed your hood walk.

June Good for your county opening up a drive up testing center. My county opened up one a couple of weeks ago for first responders only also.
LaDonna Taco bowls sound good.Your dinner tonight always sounds good.We rarely have hot dogs.We will have hamburgers and I don't normally use bread but Kenneth does.We will split our last LO pork chop and sweet potato tonight.Lucy decided to have a good play time with you out there.
Audrey Happy early Birthday to Theo.
Ann I don't have that problem with Kenneth since I normally buy the meat.Your dinner sounds good too.
I walked to our mailbox this morning just to say I walked on the road.PT guy has been having me walk just to the road anyway.Sun finally came out and there's a nice breeze even though it's 87.I walked back to the mailbox to check the mail.
