Good price on the eggs June. I'm trying to keep it to 1 store if I can. Ann - Hope you can get back to normal soon. I'm sure current conditions are slowing down insurance action. Hope you hear soon and in your favor. LaDonna - Glad you had an active day. Can you download an app to your phone to count your steps? I use Fit. Of course you need to have your phone on you for it to work. Bee - KOKO! Becky - Hope you can get what you need. Good luck with PT Your chili sounds good Audrey. Enjoy that and your walks. Sorry you didn't get to see the moon. It should be almost as good tonight if it's clear there. I got about 3/4 of the main garden weeded yesterday. If it dries up enough, I'll finish today and work on the herb garden. I'll be working from home for a few hours. I'll do a weighted dance workout this morning and take a shorter bike ride with my sister this afternoon. I really need to organize my freezer. Cheryl is being released on Friday. When I do my shopping, I will pick up a few items for her that I will drop off. I'm glad her caregiver is picking her up. I would have if needed but glad I don't need to take the risk.

Good Morning all,
Slept well. After coffee I'm going to run some errands. One will include going by our church and drawing on the pavement with sidewalk chalk some Easter eggs, Bible verses, and positive messages. Some of the members have hung plastic eggs in the trees and hung drawings on windows and doors. The community is invited to drive thru and let their children look for eggs from the safety of their cars. Not sure yet what I'll take out for dinner. Need to think on it a little. Personals a little later - Wishing all a wonderful, healthy, OP day.

Susi very happy that Cheryl is being released and that her caregiver is picking her up. Enjoy the bike ride with your sister dance workout and hope the weather hold out so you can do more gardening. Our insurance company has been in touch with us via phone and text...we just haven't heard their final decision yet. LaDonna what a wonderful ting to do at your church I'm sure that lots of people will so appreciate seeing the drawings and reading the inspirational verse. My day is all planned and tracked. Yesterday I stuck to my guns and once again the scale went in the downward direction. Will work at making that happen again. Coffee time

Good morning, all!
Already on Page 2 and it's only 8:15 AM - WOWZERS!!!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family...
💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞 <miss my monkeys> 💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞.
Our grocery run yesterday worked out OK. Lots of empty shelves in different aisles; I'm not sure whether it's a supply chain problem or that the store does not have the stock clerk staff right now. We paid more for certain substitutions and will roll over other totally-missing items onto a "future" list. And Toots was right - folks were a bit tetchy. I'm glad that we're done for at least another week, if not longer.
We got to see the moon rise last night, and then again through a break in the clouds just before we headed for bed. It was worth looking for!
We now have cloth masks that my WW-GF in RI sent us. Toots also found an open box of N95's in the basement from Son#2's Jeep-body-work days (they pre-date MissMilla, who will turn 13 on May 6). While they are basement-musty, they are not dirty. So we were able to start airing them out and share one with MissMouse.
Toots tells me that we had wild storms around 3 AM. I guess that yesterday's yard work was a great sleep-enhancer - I didn't hear a thing!
Not sure what's on today's Ought To Consider Doing This list. NJ now has until at least 5/9 on the State of Emergency so there's no great rush. And those CinderElla/Fella chores seem to spawn no matter what, LOL.
Coffee... ☕☕☕... <here's to health>... <here's to US>...
🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱

I might need a nap or to go to bed earlier tonight. I stayed up watching chopped till 4am and then questioned my sanity. I used to watch like that when we had cable and realized I do better without TV stations to watch. I also was amazed at the number of commercials there were!
The leak is still doing its thing. The tape is holding and the pockets of liquid have to be lifted to funnel down into the drain but at least the floor is dry.
The last time we went to the grocery store I could not find coffee filters. I don't use them for coffee but we do filter our boiled drinking water through them. I tweaked to the fact that they were probably gone for...masks or to be used inside of masks.
I did step outside to see the moon last night but there were clouds...I did eventually see it through the clouds for a bit...and it is cloudy tonight, too
AUDREY: Sounds like your keeping to your schedule and planning activities and food for every day. The real fix for the plumbing won't happen for awhile so hope the "fix" we have will last till then. I wonder how they project the peak for an area for the virus? How did they choose May for California?
JUNE: Hope the waterproofer mistake is fixed.
ANN: Glad the people that came to your house were wearing masks.
SUSI: I have a feeling that eventually the water tank will completely empty that is not in use but still up above the bathroom. Then the water will stop. When the situation is better and people are safe to be in the house I see that tank being removed from the space and the water connections capped off since the solar is the go-to water source for hot water. Thank you for the link to the sock mask
BEE: How does opening the spillway impact the people downriver? I hope you found pockets of sunshine to enjoy!
LADONNA: I wonder what impact the stay at home order will have on your state...and your daily life. I love Mexican food - your dinner sounds delicious! I can just see Lucy chasing bees, dancing with the rake and being your "helper" while you gardened.
JUNE: I did put off to the next day the drip problem. The containers to catch the drips were okay but the plastic bag temporary fix is better. You should have seen my husband as he rushed out after reading the email I sent to him about the leak...told him he could eat breakfast first but he had to see the problem anyway. Good to hear the curve is flattening in Ohio.
SUSI: How did you turn socks into masks?
MJ: Hope the shopping trip went well, you found what you needed, everyone kept distance as they should and disinfection when you got home went well, too. Interesting about your grocery store visit.
BECKY: Hooray for walking outside and going as far as the road! How did it feel?
PAM: Waving hi from afar!
The cat is wanting something to eat SO I should say bye for now and give her some food.

Ann Thanks.I will only use the cart if there is no line outside the store.I need meat today so hopefully they will be restocked.I was able to see a little of the moon but the clouds covered the top part of it.
Audrey You are so good at getting your walks in.I couldn't do 3 walks a day with 2 good knees. We are having chili tonight and so far I only have 2 kinds of beans. If I can find kidney beans I may turn it into 3 bean chili. I have tried adding corn but for some reason my digestive system doesn't seem to be able to digest it very well.
Susi I'm glad you were able to see the moon. The ferals will be glad to see you.You were working hard yesterday.I hope it dries up so you can do the rest.I'm happy Cheryl will go home Friday and that she has a caretaker who will be driving you home.
Thanks June.I will only use the basket if there is no line.We never know until we drive in the parking lot.I also hope I will be able to find at least most of my list.

LaDonna What a nice and uplifting thing to do at church.
MJ We have found lots of empty shelves at our regular grocery store.Yea on the masks.
Cathy I am glad the floor is dry.I hope it holds.Walking outside feels much better than walking in the house. My PT has me walking just to the road when he comes but I decided to get on the road which isn't much farther twice yesterday. It's going to be hot this afternoon so I think he will have me do a short walk.
Have a good day everyone.

Ann Ha ha ha. . . The rain did not effect my sleep in any way. I listened to the booms & rain, then headed to bed. Was asleep in less than a minute. I was thinking, complete with an enthusiastic inner voice and an Oh yeah-- "Annie, get your gun! " Then I thought, "Ann brought out the big guns." Sorry, I probably should spar you all my inner conversations....
Susi Am glad that you do not have to pick up Cheryl. Whew! Great exercise plans! LaDonna The chalk on the walk is a great way to lift up spirits for church members & the community. Hope that lil ones like a Jayleigh enjoy the surprise. Oh the possibilities for dinner. . .

Mj Yep, yard work is a great sleep aid! Glad that you could find some of your list. Sorry that people were tetchy. Do you have any charcoal? If the mustiness is just an odor, then charcoal should absorb the smell. You might look up ways to sanitize an old mask. Maybe white vinegar, hot water, Lysol wouldwork??? Otherwise a I would be afraid of inhaling mold or bacteria. Becky So happy that you were able to work a little further outside. Yaaaaaay!

Okey dokey Back to the office. More grading to do. More curricular material to create. Spent too much time on an e-mail to a student. Upshot-- do the work, you pass. I built in many ways for you to save your grade even now. Save yourself. Helped a neighbor search for an escaped dog. Was a different type of a walk.

Cathy, NOLA is like a bowl, between 15-18' below sea level. They are diverting the river water into Lake Pontchartrain. Of course, doing that harms the crab business.
BUT it is easier than flooding a city.

Came back from walk #1 and enjoyed being out in the fresh air. Becky hope you can find some meat and that the market is not crowded. LOL June I LOVE those inner conversations I'm all ears for them, especially when they put a smile on my face. Glad you enjoyed a different type of walk. Ours was a good one as we went out early enough where nobody was out and about. Had then entire park to ourselves Bee hope you have a great day. Time for that second cup of coffee....I'm runnin' on empty

What a great thing your church is doing LaDonna. I'm sure that will help lift spirits. MJ - It was a wild storm. I got up around 2:30 and looked at the moon before it rolled in. Glad you found the N95 masks. It's a shame he had to close down all the state and county parks. People JUST WON'T LISTEN!! And the longer they don't the longer this will go on. Cathy - I love Chopped. Hopefully the tank will safely empty. Good luck with your shopping Becky. Hope you find the meat you want. Love inner conversations June. I go off in the craziest tangents! I hope you found the dog. I have perishables in the fridge to use up this week or repurpose to store. I use the shorter life items from my Misfits box first. I do need paper towels, bread, vinegar, oil, canned cat food for the ferals and hopefully filet mignon for Easter dinner. And bread and milk for Cheryl. My freezer is pretty full but needs to be reorganized. Maybe later today.
