Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good late afternoon all. Hope Joy just got busy and all is ok!
There’s not a lot going on here. DH is currently sleeping in his recliner. I’m trying to get up some energy to go downstairs and work. I have not done so in a couple days. I should get the 18 & 24 mo clothing listed and then start moving stuff out of the family room and onto shelves. And I really want to get the upstairs bedrooms cleaned out. I need to make myself a schedule where I do an hour upstairs; an hour downstairs; an hour knitting; an hour reading, or something similar. Maybe then I could get something constructive done and not spend so much time on Facebook!!!
Going to go do a few things and will check back here later on. MAYBE I’ll have something constructive done to report!!
More later!

Ugh! I thought I posted when I created the thread.
Not being busy today. I’m taking the day off from basement CBing. I have sheets in the wash, will follow with towels. I changed the shower curtain in my bathroom, have been meaning to do that for a while.
Ruth - I like the idea of making a schedule. I have more of a project list, a daily schedule would help me see progress.
Easter is going to be so different this year. I usually see DB and DSIL on Saturday when we get our baskets blessed. The only traditional items I’ll have this year will be eggs and wine. Sunday would usually be Pajama Day, but that could be any day this week. I’m actually planning on having a nice dinner on Sunday, pork chops, mashed potatoes, some veggies, wine (always wine).
I’m finding that the days alone at home are getting easier. I still get up early, walk when weather is nice, and am finding a new routine. I think putting together a schedule will even make the days better. I do miss eating out, but I’m enjoying cooking. I bought a lot of extras with my last instacart order so I can try new recipes. I’m starting to think ahead for my next order that I’ll probably put together in a week or so.
Enough for now - bbl

Joyce, you are doing an amazing job with all of your projects. Sorry that you won’t be with DB and DSIL to get your baskets blessed for Easter. I know that is something you would do every year together.
Ruth, I set a time limit and do 30 min. on a project and then 30 min. on something I enjoy, reading, puzzle, etc. I find that an hour is too long for me for projects at this time. Hope you get the 18 month to 24 month clothing listed. I still do a “to do” list most days.
Not much new here either. The tile guy finished up almost everything is the guest bathroom around noon. He has to come back Monday to do another little bit of grouting around the decorative tile we had put in and he will then do another cleaning. Then the plumber has to come back and finish one thing in the guest bathroom and start on the master bathroom. He puts in new shut off valves and in the guest bathroom changed the drain. After the plumber comes in everything should be finished in 10 days, hope the plumber shows up early next week.
