Okay, I'm back....and it is still 52 degrees!! Now I am really beginning to wonder about our weather forecasters---overcast, only a quick shot of sun earlier today. Oh well....no cushions are out yet, but hoping that tomorrow will be better. Seeing little Miss Zoe coloring eggs on FB cheered me up!
Carole; So glad to hear that Mary is doing SO well after her surgery! It sounds like she will be one of the people who says, "I can't believe I didn't do it sooner."--I have heard a lot of those! Love seeing your pictures with Tracy and Zoe coloring eggs and your beautiful pies...nice! I'll bet that your house smells wonderful.
Sue: Your painting from last night was beautiful! And it sounds like it was a hit. With Zoom next time, even better. So sorry about how this year brings back some of the sad memories too-My father died in 2001 and I still have the occasional twinge of a memory (barbeque parties always bring it on). I guess that it is nice to have memories..to remember those good times. Your stand for the diffuser looks like a great solution. I find that now I am buying the things to organize that I have thought about getting but put off. I am saving money on fuel right now and it will more than cover for the few purchases---I am sure that you will find that your purchase is a great thing to have. Love that you bought the kits for the boys--a great option for them. Hope that the day warmed up a bit for you.
Hello to Jenny, Shelly, Jo, Nadine, and all who follow. I didn't tell you about my birthday present from DH? Hmmm...well, it was a complete surprise. He told me, "I had this idea for something really special that I wanted to buy you for your 60th birthday (I was turning 56 in July 2019). Then I decided, why wait? So I bought it for you now." AND, you are not going to believe this, he bought me a 1958 Corvette!!! Can you believe it? It needed a lot of work so he's been plugging away on it on the weekends. Thank goodness he is so mechanical. With this pandemic, he has been working on it even more....we hope to be able to drive it around this summer/late spring. I am still kind of in shock and denial about it---I never would have guessed he would buy something like this. I'll post a picture of it when it is done. I haven't even told my mom as I want to drive up to her house, surprise her, and take her for a drive. So shhh... Okay, have a good day...I am going to try to do my nails! My "spa" day. LOL
