Today when the "funk" hits from being isolated, trapped in the house..."walk it off"....if the weather is nice....walk in the yard, take some deep breaths and regroup!!
Will catch up after work...need to pick Jason up at the garage...he is dropping off the Corolla off because there is a gas link when the tank is full so wants to get it fixed before something happens.

Good Morning - reminding myself and others to DRINK more WATER!
WI was ugly as predicted. 'nuff said there. Trying trying trying to at least follow the Basics each day. Yes, Starting Over with each meal in baby steps, yada yada, right? LOL
The sun is out. Temps are in the 30s here and yes, calling for snow. Had a few flurries yesterday that stuck around and now later today we will get more. BUT yesterday around 3:30 DH and I did go for a good walk. Will try again today but maybe during my 'lunch' as they are calling for snow around 4:00 today brrr. No matter. It promises to be a cold one.
DD21 Linds lost 4#s her first WW week including Easter Sunday. I hope she can do better with her Plan than I've been doing. Not sure why I'm not using her as my motivator - just not feeling it.
I found my 2nd wind yesterday after working and made homemade meatballs and my sauce. Mostly because it's low points and a good choice when I use whole wheat penne pasta. I pre-made my salad for 'lunch' and will do it again today. More water is the focus for me at least. Not too worried about that ugly WI as I know the Easter meal and left overs are still hanging on lol
Work went okay yesterday. I set up again in the DR with my large monitor, large cup of ice water, and tried to focus on the Teachers meetings. Wow, the plan for Google Classroom did not go well yesterday. Parents were emailing saying they never received their password or the kids didn't remember their google account!! Oops, the IT Guys were in the meetings and just sat quietly. They said, ' well, we couldn't predict everything!' ummm, this was bad though. So all agreed this week will be considered a trial run as they try to figure out how to offer instruction online.

Gabrielle - thank you for sharing that post from your one webinar - we need to be okay that this is such a sad time with many disappointments but that we WILL be okay afterwards. Just different. I ended up making a 2-page, bullet presentation of all the projects I had been involved or spear headed since March 13. Sent it off to the Prince and focused strongly on the one last project he assigned which was our school's procedure for the ESL program. Sent that to him also. Now I have a clean slate and will focus on evaluations for May. IF he allows that - I'll know today at our 3:00 meeting lol I did not have to leave the house to hand out packets to families. Apparently Queen Bee led that project - let's face it, she's struggling and at a loss without her posse. Late yesterday we received an angry email from the K mother (the one we were planning to take to Due Process) saying she felt an IEP was ridiculous since SHE has to do everything now. Umm, really? I just handed it off to Queen Bee since she campaigned for this! It did make me smile that she immediately emailed me with 'what to do?'. Interesting about your dept. and their reply, "Why would you think that?" Yep, I'm the same. I always take notes and am usually surprised that others do NOT and no one remembers who is doing what. Sigh. Good for you having an agenda with a purpose to the meeting. Every single day I sit through meetings with no agenda, Teachers' kids popping on to visit, and everyone chatting - I think it's nice they need to reconnect but honestly, for me it's 4 hours every day sitting through it. lol I sound like a Grinch, I know.
Jenny - how was your work day yesterday? I can't believe the great weather you guys have been getting - Hooray!! Each day I've been looking to PLAN meals and yes, use up our freezer space. I'll freeze the meatballs/sauce for another meal later, but still have enough for 'left overs' this week - today I am popping a roast in the crock pot. Linds is still home. Debating when to go back and not in a hurry due to the Stay at Home - she found out one of the roommates is returning but with her Boyfriend in tow. Whoa. Who wants to live with that?!?

Sue - I prefer your title, WALK MORE indeed today. My usual 8,000-10,000 steps per day are now barely 5,000 including my daily walks. Last night Lindsey got me hooked on the Neflix series, "The Crown". OMG - we put the closed caption option on and really enjoyed it! After 2 episodes we sat and looked up the history of the Royal family. We are going to use this as our incentive to workout first, THEN watch an episode as a reward! How is it going with the phones? Sounds like it's a handful but yes, being thankful you have a regular job is a good outlook. Gary's PA Unemployment is ridiculous - and VERY slow - we remain hopeful PA can get their act together. They are telling folks to be patient if you filed after March 29 but Gary filed March 20!!! And no word other than a tiny amount compared to the promised Determination. We did receive our stimulus check - direct deposit came through - but geesh, who wants to spend when nothing can get paid without a pay check?? It's so odd...and everyone keeps posting promises to work with you during this unprecedented time, but really? Because interest will still accrue and well, ya get the picture. I really do not want to put our financial budget and plan on hold over this whole thing.
Carole - your one coworker who is out and about shopping? What stores in MA are even open to go shopping? We have grocery stores, convenient stores, Wal-Mart and Lowes/hardware. That's it. I would love to go shopping for fun but really? I don't even feel safe running through a grocery store with my mask! Yikes. Shaking my head here. It sounds like our Governors will be working together to reopen gradually with a purpose and a plan. PA, NY, NJ at least are working together - makes sense but we may need OHIO included as they are closer to us then NJ is - again, the PA focus is really in Philadelphia area FAR from us. We may be on our own in this corner of the state. Hey, each time a cardinal flits by I take comfort. I was once told, "Every time you see red, know that is your brother" and yes, during some really stressful awful times I would suddenly see a cardinal. Which are RARE in this part of my town!

Good morning - WATER Wednesday... I got back to my water routine yesterday! Never did get to tracking... but maybe today? Tracy & my sister will do their weekly grocery trip... need to work on the list! I have to say that coming home from work and making dinner was difficult... but this BEING home and cooking dinner is So.Much.Worse.! I don't know why... but after "work" I just want to go to my room! I just don't care! I know I HAVE to get out of this funk I am in... but I just don't know what to do or how to begin anymore... Hoping the better weather these next few days will help? Then WHAM Sounds like we are getting hit with "wintry mix" over the weekend! Of course... when I have the TIME to DO things, the weather goes back to crap! UGH! Sorry I seem to be so full of doom and gloom around here... I need to get a grip!
Let me see if I can catch up, before my day "starts" over there...

Lisa - waving HELLO - hoping that Greg can hang on to his position. Let us know how that is going...did you get this snow too? Good job sorting through those tubs - I know, it's gotta be hard just getting started and sometimes we make a mess in order to clean a mess! Right? lol But when else will you have this kind of time to focus and get it done. Plus with the thought of warmer weather coming the last place you'll want to be is indoors! Our yard is slowly coming back to life - must have been a rough winter on the back yard - first time it's been so slow to grow grass - or is it the darn snow we keep getting? - Tell your DD Kim to hang in there! UGH to customers complaints at a this time! Ya gotta smile and wish them , "Have a magical day" like they do at Disney Jo - good for you Girls getting the house sold! It's really important to do that - will the sale help with your Mum's place she is now? I know when they sold my Grandfather's house all the proceeds went directly to his care which barely lasted a few years. He was 99 years old and quickly running out of funds! My DM 'retired' in order to bring him to live with her - but he passed right before Christmas so there she was without a job and no 'purpose' for a while there - trust me, she went back to work again just to keep herself busy! And drove me nuts with complaint after complaint about 'having to go to work' ...she didn't have to go but she liked playing the victim. Okay, gotta get going and make something of this day. Starting a little later than usual since my Work day got extended to late afternoon meetings. I'm such a wimp.

Sue: YAY for getting the broken soap pump worked out... and yes... I do love my Thieve's cleaner... I usually mix one packet with 30 oz of water - it cleans great - smells great... Our April "showers" will be wintry mix... I know, it's only April but OMG I am so ready for a full week of decent weather here!
Oh dear... how sad for that family - OMG I would never put on a party like that! YIKES! Our Easter was under the limit of 10 guidelines for our state! I am grateful our Gov has not done the whole no mingling what-so-ever! I would still have Zoë each Saturday - as Patti has to work!
YES - that IS my plan in retirement... getting my photos done - organized - albums made... so much to do!
The nurse called me yesterday to set up a "virtual appointment" with my Doctor... she wants to SEE ME before prescribing... so today at 1:30, I guess I am doing a doctor's appointment! Not at all sure how that will go... so may not work the rest of the day... we'll see. Then if she prescribes something I have to figure out when/where I can pick it up!
Yes the larger monitor is helping... still wish I had 2, but beggars can't be choosers!

Good morning!
Early meeting today--at 7:30am, and the last meeting is 4:30-6:00pm. Fun times! I do have a little break in there from 3:30-4:30 where I will move away from the screen. Kind of an important meeting that I am running from 1:00-2:00 so hoping it goes well "virtually". It is looking like it will be sunny and cold...yay for sun! The rain is coming again this weekend. I feel for all of you dreading the weather--it's been like for us for most of this lockdown time (until a couple of days ago) and I was ready for sun--we all are. Had a grilled hamburger for dinner last night (lean beef and sandwich thin for the bun) and it tasted good...felt like summer (well, not exactly, but close!)
Christine: Thank you to you and Sue for starting us off today. So sorry about the scale, but glad that you know the "why". The weeks then I don't know why are the ones that are especially frustrating. Maybe you need to cut yourself some slack and just track and not be so worried about planning right now. Be kind to yourself because of all of the pretty chaotic things that are going on? Yep, those youngsters lose the weight SO much easier...don't compare! Yum, your meatballs sounded so good! A nice, warm meal and some to spare. That is terrible about how long it is taking for Gary. Our Supt told us that this week was going to be an emotional one for a lot of families because it is timed in such a way that those who lost jobs are now experiencing the week without their regular paycheck....need to remember that one as I am sure it is hard---I feel for you. I hope that the online car sales idea works (I think that we have bought our last few cars all online...only went to the dealership to sign and pick it up). Hope that you can get outside for that walk at lunchtime....

Sue: So glad to hear that the Thieves is working for you--and that you got your order issues worked out. I am sure that the phone answering is so challenging but get that you need to keep quiet about it (which makes it even harder). That is SO sad about the bday party for the 90 year old!!!! So, so sad! I am terrified for the older folks who live in assisted care facilities....if I could, I would even consider moving my elderly relative home right now in some of the states where COVID is so bad....they need to be SO careful. Hope that you have a good day with less phone calls.
Carole: So glad that the larger monitor is working! I was SO happy when I moved to mine. The screen time required is bad enough without the monitor being tiny. So glad that you have your appt today! I have a "telemed" appt with my endocrinologist next week and have to go in for fasting bloodwork tomorrow morning at 6:00 am--uggh. Anyway, I will be at the lab in line with all of the older people at 6:00 am. Hope that you get some response in your appt today.
Okay, gotta go and be ready to hit the ground running. Have a good day - hello to all who follow.

Good Morning everyone
On Monday I got my car washed and my tomato plants planted along with my zucchini planted. I will get a cucumber plant this coming weekend and get it in the ground. Today is kind of cloudy but warm should be in the 70's all week long. I also got my patio furniture set up and realize my umbrella is broken so I will one up this weekend. Easter went really great, I didn't have to rush around planning dinner for a lot of people, I kind of just did casually made dinner and relaxed a little. My sister on the other hand had a break down and was crying on the phone because we couldn't be together for a holiday. I think this is the first time we have ever not been together on a holiday, but she understands why we can't be together. I felt sorry for her.
Did you all get your stimulus checks today? I looked and we got ours so that made me happy, now I have to wait to till things start opening up to spend it. I defiantly will not spend it at the grocery store. I need a new lawn mower ours's is on the way out. I think I would like to look into an electric mower and not have to deal with the gas part of a mower. We will see.
Ok here come the troops gotta run for now
Gabrielle I kind of like the weekend for the zoom calls, after work I have to make dinner and get busy with that but what ever everyone else want's is fine with me

Oh dear - I thought I sent this a long time ago!!
WALK IT OFF - OK I will try... I am already on edge, not looking forward to trying to do a video chat with the doctor! Ken will most likely be home for lunch at the time, and Tracy is off tonight - so not sleeping during the day... will take it to my room - but still feel awkward with others around during my Dr visit!
Sue: Glad you can get the gas tank fixed before it gets too bad!
Christine: Yes, DRINK MORE WATER... I will fill my bottle and keep it on my "desk" today... will also have my usual tea I suppose?
UGH Yeah, fly bys this week have not been "pretty"... We are at 43 now, and sun is shining... so heading outside a few times during the day is definitely on tap for me! Yes, try to get that walk in before the snows come (again)... WHEN can we finally be rid of that word in our lives??
WOO HOO for Linds! Is she "on line" member? I'm sorry, I forget if there is a place to head to workshops around you? I know, no workshops now anyway, but... maybe if you are both going, when you can, it might help you both?
I am getting more produce today, gotta keep trying right??
Hmmm, homemade meatballs and sauce?? How do you make your sauce??
Would you please, share the "easy" recipe??
Oh dear... well at least your IT guys were available... hoping they get things underway this week, so next week is smooth sailing for you all!
LOL You are so NOT a "grinch"... I am so glad I am NOT on multiple people's meetings these days...t hat would be far worse for me (I think) then being here alone... at least here alone I don't have to deal with people!

Hi everyone! It is cool but sunny her today. We have a freeze warning for last night and again tonight. But the windows are open so it nice to get some fresh air. I tracked my food for 2 days now. Let hope i can keep this going. I'm up for a Zoom call. Just let me know when! It would be so cool to talk to all of you live and in person.
Christine and Sue thanks for starting us!
Sue, are you a member of Young Living? I just signed up! How cool! how long have you been member/distributor? I literally just got my kit. I haven't had time to dig into the website and all the info. I heard that Thieves is really good. Sounds like quite a deal. Always in the market for a good cleaner. Is it just for windows? I hope the phones slow down for you. That would be very distracting. I'm sure Jason misses his gardening helpers. This social distancing while necessary is hard at times. I like working from home. I'm a home body though. It's my safe place. I agree that people will go crazy if they are given the chance to go out. The news here was saying they are thinking of allowing "personal appearance" businesses to open back up with appointments only. I need to get my hair cut like everyone else but I think that is a little unnecessary. That was a big party for her to throw for her mother. So sorry for the family.
Christine,Lindsey lost 4 lbs! in her 1st week! that is great! I don't think I've ever lost 4lbs at one time with WW. I have been slacking on my water drinking since being home. I drink more unsweetened ice tea than water. You are still getting snow? wow I'm complaining about the freeze warning, snow would be worse. The sun is out though. That is sad that Presque Isle is flooded. We had flooding here too. We just had bad thunder storms. Chattenooga, about 1.5 hours south, got the worst of it. Good fo r you getting your second wind, I never did. My head just wasn't in it. Hope your IT guys figure out Google classroom. they didn't offer any advise during that call? Glad you got to stay home instead of handing out packets. How did they keep the 6 ft apart rule? The mother thought the IEP was ridiculous? That would be hard on Lindsey to go back to her college apartment with a roommate and boyfriend. My steps were up yesterday since I had the afternoon off. We went and stocked up at Sam's club. there were cops inside the store. People were wearing masks and maintaining the 6 ft apart. My Mum has an irrevocable (sp) trust that the proceeds from the house will go into.
Carole, wintery mix? yuck. you should over that by now. At least I think you should. Apparently mother nature doesn't agree. It's cold here too , much colder than usual. Steve had a virtual health appointment with his cardiologist. He was teh 1st patient for them to try it out on. I had to take his blood pressure and everything. but it went well. hope yours went well too. I had a really big monitor (small tv) and a normal sized 2nd monitor. I think the big one is messing with my eyes because I'm having a hard time reading small stuff.
Gabrielle, hope you can get away from your screen for a while today. hamburgers sound good. I love those sandwich thins! I usually eat mine with lettuce. I have tried to make the lettuce a "bun" but it is such a mess. How are your sons doing through all of this?
Jenny, you have been busy planting. I told Steve, somehow I will plant a garden this year. Even if it is in pots. Every year I tell him I want one, he has to till up a section of the yard. I would plant all of those you mentioned. 70s is the perfect weather. We got our stimulus check yesterday. Yes more money always makes me happy!
better get dinner started. have a good night
