Good Morning - will look for ways to feel Satisfied this Saturday. Yesterday I tracked carefully so felt Satisfied with that! Did not find a way to 'feel fit' as I was just plain worn out from another long week and our weather was horrible with steady sleet and wet snow...today it doesn't look like the snow stuck but man, it sure was coming down! And All Day Long Ready to turn the corner to more Spring like temps and weather. Woke in middle of night with horrible stomach/lower GI pains...the kind that make ya catch your breath! I thought for sure I was going to have a bout of d- (TMI) so waited and waited in the bathroom but then got the chills so headed back to bed. Nope, pains returned so ran back to the bathroom. Nothing. But man I could not relax with those pains. Finally after 2 hours they decreased but it was strange and I feel very worn out today. Sticking close to the 1st floor bathroom today 'just in case' .What the heck? Need to read over the last few days' posts - was not able to pay attention to what everyone shared -

Good morning Christine ~ SATISFIED SATURDAY... I need to make the best of what I have in front of me! I will drive Zoë home later - so I can pick up dinner on my way home. Applebee's is having a Meal for 4 deal of some sort... DH saw it and of course didn't send me the link... [HEAVY SIGH]...
Zoë didn't want to settle down last night - so we were up until after 9! LOL I know, it's not THAT late... but she is still sleeping - not me! SO our 4" of snow turned out to be barely a ground cover! I am OK with it... but now it is just a drizzly/sleet like mess out there... temps about 34 - supposed to stop "snowing" and should warm up nicely... we'll see!
So I told you about the window guy coming Wednesday... to swap out the slider, with a bow window. Well I also went on line to get a quote for installing solar panels on our roof! I am trying not to get too excited... not knowing at ALL what it might cost... BUT, we have been wanting to do it for a long time, so the only way we'll know the cost is to have them come look! Can't hurt to hear them, right?? LOL I do "believe" that we will need to replace the old slate roof... but we have been told - that if we replace the roof at the same time we install solar - the WHOLE project will be eligible for the Tax Credit the State/Federal (?) offer... Since the roof needs (more) repairs, it just makes sense to get the whole picture before we DO anything! When Ken went on lone to one of the solar places (not local) they had a google image of our house, and showed we could get up to 25 panels on our roof! That's more than Matt & Patti have, and they made out well with saving on the electric bill! Again - trying not to get ahead of myself!
Today I will get some things done around here... and possibly get the spare room project (painting) started. Decided before we move anything more IN there - I want the painting done... so today will be a good day to get started... so tomorrow I can start the actual painting! NEED SOMETHING TO OCCUPY MY MIND! Need to go through my painting tote of tools, to see what Ken might have to bring home from the store tonight!
After I get the spare room tackled I will move on to the upstairs bathroom! Guess I can't wait for "SPRING" to get these things done!

Good morning!
Going to get in my long run in a bit....when I "add up the weeks", this will be the 7th weekend that I have done this long run alone....kind of getting a tired of it and hoping that, with the 6 ft distancing, it might change at some point. The governor has announced his committee of leaders who will work on our plan for re-opening businesses. One of them is Tom Steyer (he was one of the presidential candidates early on?)..anyway, I am interested to hear the plans as we have got to do something about the economy soon...something creative that doesn't endanger people. So, last Zoom ended at 4:15 yesterday. I think that I am going to look at my calendar and block out "work" time so that I don't have these crazy, long Zoom days. NO work gets done and it is just not good to be on the Zoom calls for so many hours. That being said, I AM looking forward to our call tonight! Still planning on 4:00 pm PST, 6:00 central, 7:00 pm EST. I will email you all shortly with the link. By the way, 4:00 is late enough for a glass of wine, right? I was thinking of having one!
Carole: So glad that the 4" of snow wasn't a reality! What a great idea to see about the solar panels. We did about 12 years ago (when we replaced our roof) and it was SUPER expensive. It's much more affordable now though. I had never heard of a bow window (but googled it)--- O love those windows! We have "bay windows" at the end of our kitchen---kind of like three windows that form a "bow" -- and I really like the view that it allows us to see. I love the idea of painting...not doing it here, but would love to sometime. We need to "re-do" our extra bathroom first. We keep talking about it, but haven't done it. I probably should restart that conversation. So glad that you can still see Zoe! I am really missing seeing DS26 and my mom...it's been 5 weeks since I saw my mom and 7 since I saw DS26. Count me in as one who thinks that you need to "discuss" the internet issues costing you time. I think that the argument here is that it is WORK time when you can't do anything else but keep trying to log on----they need to find something different for you to do during those times if they have to. I would pursue that! Oh, I remember that you really liked Karen! I am glad that you are going to give this guy a chance. You never know! I would think that having the person with no pre-conceived ideas is a good thing, maybe? Hope that you have a good day...as a matter of a fact, I think you will as you are one who enjoys the home projects (at least it seems that way to me!).

Christine: Oh, I am sorry about waking up and feeling that way...that is awful. I guess that this is a situation where it is actually good to be home, huh? I have to say that, prior to the whole COVID thing taking off, there were so many virus' floating around--there was also a stomach flu....hoping that you have just one quirky digestive thing going on that clears up soon. Good job tracking! I have been TERRIBLE and need to get back into it. Glad that I will have my WW meeting this week. I barely had lunch breaks this week so didn't make one during the week. Hope that it gets nicer weather-wise for you. Yep, our call will be at 7:00 pm...hoping that the 6:00 pm time works for Shelly to make it. See you soon:)
Sue: Half day Fridays sounds like a great way to get in some of the days off! So glad that it worked out for you. I have no idea what is going on in stores around here---haven't been in one for weeks. Maybe they are doing what you described? Not sure. I do know that, although not required, they still strongly suggest masks. My fasting bloodwork says nothing but water--no tea or coffee. It was okay, I survived. It just gets old (this is the 4th one since August). Hoping that, with my telemed appt on Wednesday, I can put an end to it for a while. I was reviewing the 8 days I wore that glucose monitor and it said that my blood sugar was "normal range" 98% of the time....so, not sure why I am spending hundreds of dollars on blood work and appointments to talk about it at the same time as my thyroid hormone level conversations. I will demand some explanations this time..and from the doctor not the PA. My insurance won't even cover my thyroid med anymore because they want me to "commit" to buying a year supply at once but my doctor changes my prescription every 3 months or so and I refuse to buy a year's worth and throw away 9 months of it. I guess that I have a few things to talk to her about, don't I? Hope that you have a good day today! So, you have a mask already?

Jo: How are you feeling today? So sorry about the fever and chills! Hope that it has really resolved itself. It's so great that you have the blood pressure cuff, etc. at home! We bought my mom an Apple Watch for Christmas as her cardiologist said that the one thing it works really well for is afib. At least once he has reviewed her Apple Watch records to see what her heart is doing...so glad that she has it and can operate it. Hope that your day is a good one!
Jenny: Wow, sorry about the new salesperson being so challenging. Hope that things were better yesterday, maybe? It is not raining here but is 46 degrees and gloomy....waiting for our sunshine to come (and then I'll probably complain about the heat, LOL). Hope that you have some sunshine there. DS20 is getting very anxious about emptying his apartment in Eugene...I keep telling him to wait till May to talk about it.....
Hello to Shelly, Lisa, Nadine, and all who follow. Still dark (due to clouds) but I need to get my run in before people are out there all over the place. And, since I am alone and it has remote parts, need to be sure that it is light. See you all later!

Morning all....been up for almost 3 hours now...fell asleep just after 8:00pm last night and woke at 6:38 and could not make myself go back to sleep so I got up....enjoying a bit of quiet time and now made a leftover waffle for breakfast and decided to catch up a bit!
Thanks for starting us off Christine...aside from a couple ZOOM calls today and picking up the Corolla...nothing really planned. News on the Corolla is not good....would take too much to replace the tank and with the age of the car and the likelihood of some rust on the bolts and stuff that holds the tank the job would be too expensive. The guy at the garage was great....not sure I mentioned but our old garage guy retired so had to find someone new and Tim recommended this place. Anyway they put it up and looked underneath and looked under the hood extensively and called Jason before doing anything more. The guy said that since the car is a 1999 and just shy of 200k miles he would not put the $$ into fixing it. He charge less then $30 for looking at it so we will go pick it up...Jason will run the full tank of gas out of it and then we will advertise it on FB Marketplace "as is" and hopefully get something for it! Sad thing is it has 4 new tires on it that don't even have 5k miles on them yet....even if we recupe the price of the tires it will be fine! Might have to wait until the "stay at home" is lifted in order to sign over the title but it can sit for a while.
We decided that we will just be a 2 car family now and make do with the van and CR-V....will miss the ease of inspections and garage visits w/o the extra vehicle but we can manage as most people are not lucky enough to have the extra car. Won't save us much in insurance but will save the registration each year...kind of bummed I had renewed that for 2 years last year to save the $5 or whatever it was and just did that in 2019 so lost the savings anyway....as usual, nothing ever has perfect timing for the Mouls!!
Christine...sorry for the stomach issues...hopefully it was a one time thing. It's weird but that happens to Jason every now and then too....usually in the middle of the night and he hasn't figured it out....it usually passes by morning and he's fine!
Hi Carole...I see you and Nancy got snow today!! Glad you didn't get the 4" they predicted...we are just foggy rainy but the rain is to be done right around now and then partly cloudy/sunny for the rest of the day! Sorry Zoe didn't settle down last night but at least she is sleeping in this morning.... Hope the Applebee's deal is a good one. Closest Applebee's to us is close to an hour so we don't get there often but do enjoy it when we do go....sometimes we go when we are in NC....dad & Pat used to take all of us there on Saturday night for supper.....
Carole...David & Katie put solar panels on their house a couple years ago it was SUPER expensive but they had a good deal that saved them some $$$ plus got a great tax credit last year on their 2018 tax return....they said it would be 5-7 years until they recoup the cost but they don't plan to move anytime soon so they took the leap! Hope it's something practical and affordable for you!!
YAY for the painting project in the spare room...yes, good idea to get the painting done before it fills up and you have to move stuff out in order to paint!!
OK....time to get my last cup of coffee for the morning and get ready for my call...will be back later....after the call we will likely go get the car....that is if Jason is up yet!! He's still asleep now! Not sure what time he came to bed but I woke up and wandered to be at 11:15 and he was still up....
Waves to all...see you in a bit....

I'm back - had a light breakfast of whole wheat toast w/pb. Added some fresh blueberries/strawberries to see if this helps. I don't want to have a banana as that will really stop me up! lol Cramping is still happening but not nearly as severe through the night. Carole - my Nook has the option to switch the background 'light' - when reading in the SUN I put it way up, but when reading at night time I choose a Black background which is far less bright light and won't wake Gary. I love this option as pretty much EVERY night I do wake up and reading helps relax my mind. I don't play video games like CandyCrush at night but just read a little and usually within 30 minutes I'm ready to fall back asleep. Sue - Hooray for making it through another full week at work! I think it stinks you 'have to' use your hard earned Vacation hours to help out everyone else at this time but I do understand. Just stinks. My Vacation time was supposed to be used in May for Disney. Well, that will get cancelled and switched to JUNE but I have all my Vacation to use yet and we either 'use it or lose it' by June 30. So maybe in May I'll start designating some Mondays to NO WORK days and use vacation. In my situation to NOT have to be working from home a day here or there will actually be NICE. Loved that Hannah shared how much fun the Boys had outside in their snow. I know...but here, it's just a messy pain. My daffodils and tulips did not do well weighed down with heavy wet snow - most of their stems broke or bent them down to the ground Yesterday was another frustrating virtual meeting with Queen Bee. I'm so over it all! She is so needy and demanding and well, incompetent but UGH - she again just talks over me and will not make a decision until she TALKS to the Prince over every single idea or solution. He DOESN'T know!! He can't make a decision! lol At one point I clearly told her, "This is for YOU to decide!" with a smile on my face as I just can't believe her... The window guy came yesterday - I chatted with him in the driveway and me on our porch. He mentioned the 'rollers' on the sliding doors are probably shot and too old to find replacement parts AND find some one who knows how to do that. I totally agreed and hope I can get DH on board buying new doors. Okay - need to move out of this room so Carly can do her Daily Burn - lol

I'm back....still haven't gone for the car...Jason wanted to do his shoulder exercises before we left so it could dry off a bit and then he can maybe head down to the lot for a bit!!
Also, after my ZOOM chat I finished up the Local Taxes....thankfully we owe nothing on those, we don't usually. Taxes are done for another year....we have to pay into Federal and State so I have those auto debits set for 7/15....figure push it off for a bit...just in case!! They will come out of the "car payment" account that has a little buffer to cover them.
Gabrielle...do you mind running alone or is it just "getting old" because it's been so long since you ran with your group??? Why has it be 7 weeks...around here this is only the end of Week #5 of quarantine...but I guess that would make 6 Saturdays, right?? Well 4:15 is better than 5:15 or 6:30 like the days before....looking forward to our Zoom call tonight!!! Will be fun to see some familiar faces. I vote for keeping up the Zoom calls from time to time even after the quarantine has been lifted!!
Kris is calling...BRB

Back again....well, Kris called to let me know the rheumatologist sent her a letter because she didn't answer her phone when they called....DM doesn't answer her phone unless she knows who is calling. So instead of the doctor contacting Jim to have her call they sent a letter that said something to the effect of "we want to get and MRI of your abdomen to rule out malignancy"! Really??? Why would they put that in a letter and send it to an 80 year old woman??? I can see sending a letter that said we have found some discrepancies in your lab-work, please call the office so we can discuss it but really....putting that in a letter.
Apparently Jim was stopping yesterday afternoon so DM was going to show him the letter and hopefully he got a hold of someone at the office.....Kris is going to call DM later to see what happened yesterday. I was going to call today but I will wait until after I hear back from Kris. According to Kris when DM told her she said "it's OK, I'm ready to go anyway".....Kris continues to paint a "doom and gloom" picture of the situation and anytime I hear from Jim & Annie it's how well DM is doing. Yes, I'm sure now that she is stuck in her apartment due to the COVID-19 it is hard for her but I would really love to know the TRUE situation. DM always paints a positive picture when I talk to her so either she is lying or Kris is painting a picture that fits her agenda!
Gabrielle....yes, 4:00pm is late enough for you to join us for a glass of wine!! You can pretend you are on EST!! Yes, I will enjoy the short day on Fridays for the next couple weeks...hoping that by then I won't need to take anymore days but if it's a matter of keeping my job...I'll do what I have to do!! Starting tomorrow at midnight, I think masks will be required in PA when outside of your own house so I need to be ready. The ones I got from the co-worker are very hot so I may make something a little lighter...I do have a sewing machine and can adjust more for my head....these fit a little awkward but will work for now.....will see how the first couple days go before I start to cut up old T-shirts or bandanas.
Gabrielle....glad you survived w/o coffee for your bloodwork!! Yes, it would get old having it done so often...I do it twice a year because it's covered under our wellness at work but otherwise would only be once a year!! Yes, it's time for some answers and hopefully saving a little $$$ with less labwork and doctor visits. I can't believe your insurance company could require a 1 year prescription of a medication in order to cover it....that's crazy. Question....even though your doctor changes your dose every 3 months is it still the same med??? Could you prescribe a dosage and a pill strength that you could order for a year and then double it or cut it in half and just tweak the number of pills you take each day??? That might be a way to get around the 1 year requirement for the insurance company!
Hi Christine...glad the cramping is subsiding...no, bananas are probably not a good option for today!! It's funny...reading, depending on what I am reading does NOT relax me....if I get my nose in a good book I just keep reading and reading.... Yes, I think a few "no work Mondays" is a good idea! Heck, you are going to lose the days if you don't!! Sorry your meetings with Queen Bee continue to be stressful and unproductive in many ways! Glad the door guy confirmed that the sliders were old and it would not be likely to be able to fix them....Hope Gary gets on board with the new door!!
OK....time for some lunch and then will take Jason to get the car...we will be taking the van to stop at Penn Township to drop off recycling on the way....recycling is just down the street from the garage so it's perfect timing.
See you all at 7:00pm....can't wait!

So far I am "satisfied" with what I have gotten done for today... fly by this morning wasn't pretty - but it's not like I haven't seen this number before! UGH! Yes Christine - I think we both need a heavy dose of SUNSHINE and WARM TEMPS to get us back on track!! Seriously - nicer weather DOES make it easier to want to do this! Yikes! Ouch... hoping the stomach issue is resolved by now!
Gabrielle: WOW! Seven weeks??? I too will be interested in how the state of MA plans to "re-open"! I saw that one of the first things the President wants reopened is GYMS! ?!?? Seriously??? Yikes... I mean we all know I am NOT a gym person anyway - but I just don't see those as the best places to start! Id rather see hair/nail salons! Not to mention regular shopping malls... even with "distancing"... I just see the gyms as a "breeding ground"... but then again - it's normally "healthy" people at the gym! I just feel it has to start somewhere... soon... I feel that more susceptible people should know they need to limit where they go and what they do... but that's JMHO.
I agree the Zoom calls need to cease for you! Geeze how does anyone expect to get any work done - if y'all are on the phone all day long???
I am eager to hear just HOW "expensive" solar may be... if we have to we can go with the companies that lease them to you - my boys both did it that way and saw benefit right away... if nothing else - the solar will/should add value to the house - for when we sell! We can recoup our cost there I'm sure!
Oh and I am very anxious to get this darned slider swapped out... I want a window... that can open in nice weather without it raining/splashing INTO the dining room! Hoping it will seem to add space to the dining room... and allow for a desk to be "under" the window, instead of blocking the slider! We'll see... if it's too much $$$ we will just swap it for a regular casement or slider window... Oh I wanted a "bay" window, but think it would stick out too far, and the way the snow comes off the roof above it would be an issue... we'll see what the guy has to say/offer!! Lifetime windows too - and a company that should NOT be going out of business if we need them replaced! Our current windows are - were also lifetime warrantied... but... ow the company is out of business, so so much for that warranty!
We had to "discuss" having Zoë today... apparently Tyler ( the guy that lives with Patti & Zoë) has been driving his GF to work and home... her car broke down... anyway, while they are in the car they do masks and gloves... she works at a local Nursing Home... so he has been "distancing" as best he can... not staying over her place, all that - BUT... he has been giving her rides! Anyway... SHE was sent home last Wednesday with a fever... so then Kathy was concerned if he has brought anything home - and if Zoë might carry it here... Ken - Tracy & I discussed it... and since Ken works in the public anyway... and one of Tracy's co-workers called out this week with fever and cough... that WTH let her come! LOL If Patti isn't that worried, with Tyler living with them... and even if one of us gets sick - how the heck would we know who passed what to whom?? Lief is a crap-shoot some days! Anyway - Yes I was glad to have her last night and today... she is such a little love bug ♥
Yes, if I continue to have internet issues here - I will be emailing HR... maybe even the president to ask when I can come back so I can get my work done and get paid! LOL Thank you...
Yes, I asked about Karen - but she's retired... when I mentioned to htis new guy "John" that I saw Karen - his response was "she's a social worker - not a psychologist"... ummm, OK... well... that's who my doctor recommended!! So I felt a bit "berated" there! Anyway... yes I will give him this week... "face-to-face" VIA DOXY Meeting... Eh - we'll see how it goes!
HA! You know me so well! LOL I am happy with the stuff I got prepped upstairs... nothing major... but in the morning it will be easy to get STARTED... first to pain 1/2 the ceiling... then 2 walls... prime and paint. Then we can move furniture around so another day I will be ready to tackle another wall... then we can hang the TV, and get ready to move some stuff INTO the room... so Tracy has more room in her room to take more OUT of the spare room! LOL It is sort of like a game of dominoes... must move one piece before the others...

Hi! Looking forward to seeing everyone later. I signed for an app walk fit. It gives you a walking workout everyday. Day 1 was just 7 minutes but I got my heart rate up and kept walking after. Than I was scanning those pictures. Emilie is helping and Steven will be over later to help.
Gigi, thanks for setting up this zoom call. Is it that you are running alone that you are growing tired of this run? I thought of you while walking in my driveway. It's a pretty steep hill.
Sue, sorry to hear about your car. I loved my Camery. It will sell quickly on fb market place. Yeah to getting the taxes done. The is a strange let for the Dr to send to your Mum. Hope you get the scoop.
Christine, ouch sorry for that pain last night. Hope its better today. Sounds like a yucky day there. Rolling my eyes at the queen bee
Carole, I love those windows! Sounds like such a great idea to to fix your roof and get solar panels. Sorry Zoe didnt want to sleep last night.

Evening all. It was good to visit all of you. DGK’s ended up not coming over after all. Lexi changed her mind so brother did too. Oh well this way I can sleep in. I didn’t get to last Sunday on my first day off in over a month. Now things are going better I will try to go back to every other Sunday off.
Oh I found the name of the base my DBIL graduated from. It was called Fort Dix!!! Not sure why I couldn’t think of it earlier.
Christine thanks for starting us. Sorry you didn’t feel good in the night. Glad your better now.
Carole glad you didn’t get the big snow predicted. Although it’s just a dusting it can still be a mess. But it will dry up faster than a big snow Oh I hope the solar panels aren’t to costly. Yes won’t hurt to at least get a quote. Oh I need to do some deep cleaning but not going to happen by me anytime soon.
Gabrielle so sorry this thing is causing you to have to run alone. I know running alone can be a little trying and frustrating. Oh I forgot to mention earlier that mask are not required here where I live but some of the big cities are requiring them. I have one but only wear when I feel the customer would be more at ease. We do have sneeze guards now at every register.
Sorry you are having to have more blood work done. Hope you get some answers. Keep us posted.
Sue sorry about the car problems. Oh man I have never heard of 2 year registration. I wonder if all states off that. Hope you at least recoup the money from the tires and maybe a little more. I haven’t even figured my taxes. I sure hope we don’t have to pay. Never have but nervous about this year.
Oh no!!! The dr should never send a letter like that. At least just say they need to call the office and set up an appointment to explain the situation.
Jo was good to see you today!!! I hope I can continue to join in the future.
Ok gotta go for now. Talk to you all soon
