MOVE IT MONDAY ... Supposed to be another nice day here - so I will use it to MY advantage! MY Move it Monday will include several trips around the house OUTSIDE today!
I have a couple of things for Ken to work on out there - So I will wander out every hour or so and check on him! LOL First he has to go to Greenfield... need a few things from Home Depot - then he can tackle the great outdoor projects!
I also hope to hear from the solar people today... to set a time for them to come talk... outdoors... just to get some ideas of what they can do and what it will cost! When you gals (Gigi and Sue) say "very expensive"... what are you talking? Like $50k? More? Less?? SOOOO darned curious!!
I may have to help Deb out with Debbie's ACH today, as Deb will be pretty busy with Aleta's work! Gotta say - that with starting tomorrow, Aleta being the only one out... I will NOT have as much to do for everyone! YAY! It will be nicer to work from home doing just my work!
Now let me grab coffee and catch up on yesterday ♥

Morning Carole and all to come....not quite as sunny today as yesterday but should still be near 60 but clouds rolling in and rains coming late today into tomorrow....a couple of days in the upper 50's and then we see a LONG stretch of 60's and I can't wait...could this finally be the turn to spring all the time and not just a tease!
Need to get my day started and pack a lunch...much is portioned so it won't take too long but my hair is still in a towel so I can't hang here too long!! LOL!!

Sue: I agree - scanning photos can be SOOO time consuming! I'd have to set up my laptop on the desk with the scanner... otherwise it would be back and forth from one room to another! LOL Someday... Tracy used to have a little portable scanner... may need to look into another one of those for when I am ready to do that job! Especially when I get the photos all back in one "scrap book area" then I could just set up up there and scan away!
Have you had any more word from Kris or Jim?? Hopefully you got a call into DM too.
The guest room will be our "usual Gray"... LOL I am pretty much painting every room the same gray color as they get re-done. Someone else said they did that in their house, and at first I thought it was odd... but when I saw it it was beautiful! Each room is light gray walls, white trim but then of course it's the accessories that make the room! If nothing else it will make it easier to sell! I think that with all the crazy colors of rooms we have had over the years- a simple gray will make it nicer in pictures... just my thoughts. Anyway - the guest room will be the light gray (changing from Tonka Yellow LOL) with a navy blue comforter (which we already have) and I will get new dark blue curtains. I have some nice "ocean" type paintings (store bought) to hang on the walls, as well as some of the ones Tracy & I have done, that will fit that color scheme... I got 1 1/2 walls done. Not as much as I planned - but in my quest to KISS I let it go at that! LOL Today is Tracy's day off - so she will work in there today - to get more stuff moved OUT... she may even paint the next 1/2 of that wall? We'll see...
Gabrielle: YAY Fir walking to get your paper... do they leave it way down on the road? Like by the produce barn/shed? That's a nice morning walk if that's where you have to go!
Please do tell us about the challenge... I get a lot of emails, that I never even open... especially the past few weeks - WW has been almost the last thing on my mind!
To be honest, I think the gyms thing is mostly because a large group of people WANT to go to the gym! They probably feel like they are not as susceptible to the virus? Maybe? I know for gym folks it's a lot like ME wanting the nail salons and hair salons open! LOL Actually here (Greenfield the town I work in) even after the Governor put out the 10 and under gatherings only... one gym continued to be open! They stayed open because the CLIENTS were fighting them on closing! They even remained open when he said Non-Essentials must close... it was Greenfield Mayor that finally shut them down!
Sue: With our electric bill now at about $300.00 per month ANY savings will be noticed here! LOL I know when Matt started with them, he actually built up a credit during the winter, and it balanced out for the summer - same thing... because he has oil heat the winter bills didn't change much but the AC cost was cut to -0- in the summer! Our electric bill had been pretty constant this past year... then all of a sudden it jumped - a lot!
Trust me I know... accountants are not part of the business' that had to close... and Kevin (DMIL Accountant) works out of his house in Northboro all the time! NOT just during this pandemic! Makes.No.Sense.!
Well I have to say - I "felt it" as I was painting yesterday... same twinge down my same leg... so I did take it easy... and that's why I kept it to just the 1 1/2 walls... didn't push myself to do more!
All of our windows have screens that slide up or down... so we can open the top or the bottom! I wish they had full screens - but that ling ago I was just happy to get replacement windows, I didn't know THEN what I would want NOW!
Gabrielle: Yes, insurance will cover these visits... not sure what they do about a co-pay for a phone/web appointment!
Thank you - yes... I know I need to go easier on myself - some of the time... other times I need to not "wallow"... I am starting to re-think a few things around here - kind of bracing for working from home through May. Our June Relay has been cancelled I mean I get it... by the time this may/may not be "lifted" there will be no time to plan the event! SO we will have our own little "relay" night here... on the patio... and our local committee is planning a luminaria ceremony (virtual) - so we will participate! we'll do our evening cookout - light our luminaria, on and around our patio or front wall... Tracy is going to (try) setting up her laptop with a projector and a screen so we can view the ceremony... it will be a tougher than Hell kind of night - but one I owe Matthew if we can pull it off! He was so excited this year - to be walking in the "survivor lap" with one of our other team members... and since that has changed now - I will invite Heather to come up and join our "ceremony" here... she is about Matt's age - and she beat her cancer! Anyway... sorry... got off track!
Jenny: LOL That Audrey is doing tap in her room! But yes... good for her, more than just the exercise... it's good for her to connect with others!
OK I think I just put Portland on my bucket list!
OK Gotta run... trying to set some type of a schedule here for myself... and I am running late! HA! GO FIGURE RIGHT??
I need to shower and get dressed... to be at work by 8... it is now almost 7:15... but hey - I have no commute! LOL
Be back later ♥hugs♥

Good Morning ~ the SUN is shining bright outside which was not predicted - nice surprise there - but ugh, our temps went right back down to 30s and 40s - just like it has been ALL MONTH long - getting that feeling from the movie, it's "Ground Hog's Day" here LOL I'll need to rearrange a few appointments I made - the landscape company was due to come tomorrow at 10:00 but 2 parents wanted to talk/meet about reports I wrote at SAME time? Hmmm, need to balance this out. I really don't want to reschedule the landscape guy as he's tough to get an appointment with - Our weather forecast has changed - it was supposed to be 50s all week and now it's no where near that - WTH?!?! I thought about going outside in the sun yesterday to putter around the yard/ weed a little but the air was still cold and DH decided he needed 'help' sorting out his closet. Ugh. Not what I wanted to do but then, even on a rainy day I wouldn't want to do it - so I caved, and sat in our room while he tore his closet apart and separated "What brought him joy" and what didn't LOL LOL LOL We ended up with 2 large bags (leaf/lawn bags) of donations - one large bag of throw away stained, yellowed t-shirts, and a much nicer organized closet. I'm thinking now of seeing if we can get some cubes or dividers set up for him to keep his t-shirts organized. He sorted out a pile of 'nice to wear out' and 'only for sleep/around the house' ...I laughed and said it's not fair we have to see him wearing old around the house t-shirts! LOL Anyways, Lindsey joined in the fun of helping him and we laughed a lot! BTW, Linds is still here. I talked her into staying ONE more day! Today is her week#2 WI (or is it 3?) so my fingers are crossed she has a loss because she has been carefully tracking her Green Plan.

We watched a few more episodes of Netflix's The Crown. I need those closed captions on in order to catch what they say - but THANK YOU Gabrielle for mentioning your Boys ALWAYS watch movies with that option - drives DH nuts but wow, I love being able to read what the actors are saying as I really do miss a lot even with my hearing aids on! Sue - let us know what's up with DM and that letter from her doctor! That is awful, IF it really did happen. I know, right? Consider the source then let's wait to hear the other side of this story. My life with my DM Good luck at work today with the wearing of the masks! Linds and I ran into a local grocery store last night to pick up just a few items and EVERY ONE had on masks including employees. Might as well get started on it now and not wait until Midnight. I'm also closely monitoring the Florida 're-opening' as OMG I can't believe that Governor is bowing to the rednecks who deny COVID-19 exists and Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville are ALL hotspots!! This is insane...and yes, we all know the President wants his golf courses re-opened and his Florida home! - Carole - OMG I don't like that the psychologist said that about Karen only being a 'social worker'. In PA our Licensed Clinical Social Workers are far far above other therapists because of their training and expertise. "Psychologists" (which is what I fall under) are not always licensed for therapy and usually work under the LCSW!! And that is the direction I'm pushing Linds - to be an LCSW eventually - we laugh because once she reaches that stage, I will work UNDER her! Glad you stopped painting before the leg/back pain started - it must be that motion your back does NOT like! It worries me too on this end as I love to paint but the pains afterwards don't like me. WAVES to everyone - I really need to get ready for work! I do dress every day in a nice blouse/sweater, do my hair, and wear jeans as my Work Attire - helps me stay focused - gotta go!!

Good morning!
Got my TM run done early to deal with my action-packed morning. Hoping for a slower afternoon....still zooming until 3:30, but hope to actually WORK after that. So I drove the cupcakes down to DS26's apt yesterday and left them at the gate--he stepped out and we waved from afar---and then did the same at my mom's. Then we Zoomed last night. My mom kept asking why the rest of my siblings were not on the Zoom....I don't know. I felt weird that we were all doing this cupcake thing and they didn't have them. Plus, the only one of them I've even heard from is my brother who wanted me to listen to him (he is struggling right now...still heading divorce and they live in the same house--uggh). Anyway, I will think about arranging another family call soon...I've been the only one to do it so far. So, 26 years ago today we were in the hospital with our first son! He was about 2 hours old and was 3 weeks early so we hadn't finalized a name yet
Carole: I love the look of light gray with contrasting white---so clean and calm. I find that I really prefer neutral tones (and now I have a huge wall painted a brick reddish color at the end of the living room....LOL. We did that about 9 years ago and it's a big, light room so it works (for now). A color person told me once that, no matter what color we paint the walls, keep the trim color the same through the whole house so that is what we have done. I have some rooms though that have been the same for 30 years---not nearly as adventurous as you! It would be fun to mix it up though. Hugs to you as you prepare for/think about the relay. Yes, it will be tough and I admire your desire to do it for Matthew. I hope that you sun stays... I hope that ours does too. It is supposed to warm up so-fingers crossed here. I am trying to remember how much the solar bid was. We were replacing the roof too so it was included in that. I remember figuring that it would take about 24 years to recover the cost (calculating what we would save on electricity). I think that it is a lot more affordable now. Yes, do go outside today for your "laps" and keep Ken in line, LOL. Hope that you have a good day...oh, the WW Challenge is different habits to address each week. I have to look at it today and will let you know.

Christine: Yay for Linds staying for another day! LOL, it really was funny reading your description of cleaning out DH's closet. I love your "what brings you joy" description...love that Kondo approach! I did fold my tshirts her way when I organized my drawers (which, by the way, are still very organized Yep, just last night DS20 said, "Why don't you guys have subtitles on?" when we were watching Ozark! I need to look into The Crown when I am finished with this one--you are the third person to mention it. So, can't the family meet about an hour later or something? I hate to see you reschedule the landscaper I hope you have some sun...last week our weather forecast was SO poor--off by about 15 degrees (we were in the 40's most of the week). Not sure what is up with that. Oh, you had asked about DS26's GF....she is working from home for the law office. They have been SO busy--lots of special ed cases going to mediation now (uggh). Hope that you have a good day!
Jenny: That oil for hot flashes is called Progessence. I am going to ask my endo about it at my "virtual appointment" on Wednesday. Hope that your rain lets ups and you have a good week! I am going to look up that marathon in Portland--it would be a fun trip and beautiful (I am sure).
Sue: I hope that your day goes well and that the whole mask, temperature thing goes okay--that is starting today, right?
Lisa: How are you doing? Listening to some good music today?
Hello to Jo, Shelly, Nadine, and all who follow. Time to shower and get this day going --- quite a few meetings this morning. My goal is to take the next two Fridays off...I am going to have about 3 weeks that I need to take in June if I don't find a way to take some days (and 3 weeks in June will not happen). Have a good day!

Sue: We too are a little less sunny today -still warm, but doesn't feel AS warm since there is less sun!
Jo: Hope you got to work on time!
Christine: Yikes... too bad you can't reschedule the parents! Good luck to Linds on her WI! LOL Helping Gary.... I was the one who hoed out Ken's closet... left a pile on the bed and told him it had to be dealt with! LOL
Thank YOU for the idea... I too got up and showered - did my hair... got dressed... jeans, flip flops, blouse and sweater (instead of TSHirt and Sweatshirt)... this is one of the changes I have to make around here! IF I am to do this for another month - possibly, no one knows... anyway... I know I cannot continue being so "off" for the next 5-6 weeks! UGH! So, my "new" routine will be to get up and get ready for the day... I am also stopping coffee once I clock in! I have realized by drinking more coffee than usual, I am not getting my water for the day! So starting today - 8:00 AM was my last cup of coffee... and I moved to my tea!
Gabrielle: Oh my goodness... another long day of calls! Then you get to start your workday? At 3:30??? Happy HAPPY Birthday to Ty!! Congrats to YOU ♥ I agree... no point having a huge ZOOM family call, when they would not usually be at Tyler's BD celebration... another day... this was for you and Tyler {{{hugs}}} DM should just be grateful SHE was included! LOL
Oh dear... when the kids were old enough to care - we let them choose the color for their rooms... Tracy once had WHITE walls, with Black & Red Trim/accessories!! Matt had a nice green with solar system border... Tim had gray! With Nascar border/accessories... our room right now is a nice shade of Lime Green... beachy... but soon (?) That will be gray as well! Hmm, never heard of the same trim throughout the house - but it makes sense! Then you don't have what I have some "natural" wood that butts up to while... someday soon - our trim will all be WHITE... as most rooms will be pretty much gray!
I need to get into my WW emails and stuff more... maybe that will be my goal for this week?
Oh Yes... grab those Fridays OFF... but will you UNPLUG from the office???
Well I guess lunch is over... ttyl ♥hugs♥

Evening all....first day of masks all day was TERRIBLE!!! I came home and made another version to try tomorrow as the 4 I tried today were either too hot, didn't fit right, you name it, it was miserable...going to be a long several weeks or however long this lasts!! Ate some dinner, now time to catch up a little...
Gabrielle...I like to watch Pioneer Woman too...she does make lots of heavy dishes but I guess when you cook for a bunch of ranch hands that like their "meat and potatoes" you don't have much choice!! I do like when she does meals on the lighter side....Do tell how the "low carb" recipes sounds...might need to look some up if they sound yummy!! Yes Gabrielle...it's impossible to test everyone at this point...I still think it's too early to open things quiet yet here in PA...things are just now flattening but still have some really high days with new cases and deaths....hasn't even been a week that they have seen a flattening but until that flattening starts to decline things should stay as is!! Do I like it, heck no but do I want to go back to where we were a couple weeks ago?? Absolutely not!! The open needs to be very gradual and easily controlled and while parents want summer camps and kids sports to get ramped up....that is one of the LAST things we need at this point!
Gabrielle...might try to call DM in a little bit when I think she is done her dinner.....it's only 5:30pm there now!! Kris didn't call and I have not gotten any word from Jim or Annie...kind of annoying!! Yes, Kris will tell DM just what she wants to hear and she knows the other 3 of us don't fall for her "poor me" games....Kris is just like DM and they both continue to enable the other to be dysfunctional and self-destructive! Yes, if you are on synthroid, the pills are very small and difficult to cut. I do have a pill cutter that I used years go when I had a very small pill w/o a score mark...hopefully the doctor will settle on a dose and you can get the insurance to cover it for you.... REALLY??? She didn't want to discuss "other hormones"...she's the perfect one to talk to because she is aware of your thyroid issues and can hopefully get something that can work well for all hormones!! Will be eager to hear what she says when you bring it up again on Wednesday!
Jenny...glad the beans didn't cause any issues for you!! Sorry you over did it with the homemade tortillas!! But I'm sure it was yummy!! ☺ When the cukes are in here I bring them every day for either part of my lunch of an afternoon snack!! Love them! LOL, can only imagine the sound of the plywood board and tap class! But she's getting exercise, right?? Yes....Toyotas are very reliable and long lasting cars...you take care of them and they last forever!! Today the phone rang off the hook again!! I was glad to get a break for a couple hours to help with hand work....came back to 4 voice messages....I just forwarded them onto the right department and that was easier and not as distracting as sitting there trying to do work and having to answer the phones!
Carole...thanks for starting us off...what started here as a gloomy day turned out beautiful...came out of work to bright sunshine and 60+ degrees....drove home with my car window open...was heavenly!! LOL...are you going to be Ken's "foreman" for his outside work!! Hope he stays on task! Honestly, I forget what David said they paid for their solar panels...I know it was a sizable amount....guess it depends on how much roof is getting covered....even though they have a 2 story house, there is bonus room over the garage so the roof is similar to a ranch-style! YAY for having a few days of only doing your work this week! Hope it stays that way!
What kind of portable scanner do you have...might be something to look into, definitely more practical and portable as the photo albums are all in the spare room! Yes, I have heard that doing all the walls in your house the same neutral color is a good selling point. WOW....light gray from Tonka Yellow....that's a big change! We too had some interesting bedroom colors over the years when the girls got to pick.... The gray/navy combo sounds pretty and the ocean accents will be perfect!
No...never did call DM last night...Hannah called to FaceTime and Shea was home so we chatted for 1 1/2 hours or more, then it was too late to call!
OK...going to try and chat with DM...hope to get back here later....
