Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Another dark, dreary, rainy, windy day. I don’t remember having so many windy days in the Spring. Neighbors garbage tote ended up in the street. Expecting snow showers later today.
I’m glad I made the taco pasta, I really enjoyed it. Will probably have again today, froze 3 servings for later use.
Ruth - I like that WW recipe for the lemon chicken an broccoli. One of these days I’ll buy some broccoli and make that again.
Since it’s miserable outside, I’ll head back to the basement today. I’ll play some music to help the time go by.
Nothing much else going on.

Good morning my friends. I looked at the clock and thought it said 8:45 (no glasses on). So I got up. Couldn’t figure out why the coffee hadn’t started. Looked at the kitchen clock with my glasses on and it was 6:45!!! But I was up, so I stayed up. Enjoying the quiet and my Keurig cup of coffee. Sun was shining, but it’s only 29 out. Only going to 46, but if there’s no wind, we’ll get a walk in around lunch time. May try to go to Costco (masks in place) because there are some quantity things we need. And I think Stan needs an outing. And I plan to get back to the basement also. I left kind of a mess down there when I was sorting 4’s & 5’s out yesterday. I want to get those at least finished sorting and start to photograph. So many pieces of things where I have a top and not the bottom, or vice versa. Not sure what happened to those other things. Will go thru everything before I photograph. And I really want to start on the one upstairs bedroom. But I just don’t know where to start. I’m thinking about FaceTiming it with older DD and getting her to help me that way. She’s so good at cutting thru the mess and helping me decide what is worth donating and what should just be tossed. I’ll have to ask her if she’s willing to spend some time with me doing that.
Joy, sorry to hear you have the crummy weather we’ve had recently! I’m so ready for summer and warm mornings and lots of sunshine and the ability to get out and walk whenever I want to.
Dottie, are you counting down the days until you head home? You are flying? Bet you are anxious to just be there!!!
Ok, one more cup of coffee and then I’m going to get moving, get dressed, and get something done. Have a good day all. I’ll check in later!

Joyce, thanks for the recipe. I’ll try that when we get home. Snow showers at almost the end of April, hope it warms up for you soon. It has been real windy down here also. I hope that we have some decent weather when we get home. I know our yard is going to need a lot of work but as long as it isn’t too hot I don’t mind getting out and doing a yard clean up, good exercise.
Ruth, it is windy all over, here also. Did you get your walk in before the rain? We are having a bench in our shower. Our old one did have a bench, didn’t use it much, but when I did I really liked having it there. It sounds like you had a busy afternoon, how did your recipe turn out?
I was a little late starting my walk so Bill and I walked separately because the tile guy was due in shortly after I left. Bill did take his walk once I got home. Hot and humid, but a few degrees cooler than it has been, also quite breezy. For some reason my right knee is really bothering me. I think it could be from too much sitting because I’m stiff once I get up, ugh!! I’m trying to use up a lot of our food so I’m going to cook up a few chicken breasts today to make chicken salad. Usually I use rotisserie chicken for my chicken salad but don’t want to see these go to waste.

Ruth, you posted while I was typing. That is a good idea to have older DD help you with the clutterbusting. Always nice to have someone else to help with the decisions. I'm looking forward to heading home because there are things I want and hope to do once we get there. Of course we both have some medical appointments once we are home to go to.
