Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend at least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
What a crazy weather day we had yesterday. Started out gray. The sun did make an appearance several times during the day. So did the snow. While it didnāt snow enough to stick it sometimes looked like a blizzard and a minute later it was done. The whole day was like that. Sun, snow, gray, lather, rinse, repeat š. And today itās not snowing by my house but a few miles north itās snowing pretty hard. So strange. High winds expected today. Yucky day today and probably tomorrow, but Friday looks promising.
It was nice to hear some NFL news yesterday with Gronkowski getting traded to Tampa to play with Brady again. I was texting with DB and another friend. It was just nice to NOT be talking about the virus.
Well I finally took down my little Christmas tree. I guess it was time. Packed it in the box and will move that box upstairs today.
Virtual WW workshop today. I look forward to them. Scale is staying pretty much the same. A little up one week, back down the next. With all of the snacking I find myself doing Iām going to be happy to stay the same throughout this stay at home time.
Laundry, vacuuming, general pickup today.
Ruth - did you end up going to Costco yesterday? You are doing well with sorting out those clothes. Keep up the good work.
Dottie - Iām sure youāre looking forward to going home. Yep, youāll have things to keep you busy but thatās not a bad thing.
Coffee is calling. See ya later

Joyce, it sounds like yesterday was really crazy, weather wise. Hope you get some nice weather on Friday. Since we are inside so much Bill and I have been doing much more snacking than we usually do. We donāt have a scale here so it will be interesting to see how much I gained while we are down here. Usually I stay the same or a pound or two in either direction. Bill has been following the Tampa Bay/Brady/Gronk info also.
Waving to Ruth. Are you working in your basement today on the clothes? Hope you are getting some interest from buyers.
Yesterday afternoon I went thru all my clothes here. Since closet/storage space is very limited I havenāt kept a lot of things. Also I basically have one season of clothes here. I have some āchurchā clothes, about 3 outfits and 2 pair of jeans and a few long sleeve tops. Otherwise it is summer/light weight clothes. I did set aside a few tops and capris to donate when we get back here. We donāt hang anything in the guest room closet although there are 3 car seats, 1 booster seat and several boxes of toys in the closet but other than that the closet and dresser drawers in the guest room are empty and ready for guests. I spent some time this morning packing. I had intended to bring home some of my nicer capris and tops for the cruise but since that isnāt happening I will probably have room in my suitcase. I did buy some clothes for the kids and even with that in my suitcase I think there will still be some room.

Good afternoon ladies. Joy, your weather sounds like ours last week. We had that stuff they call āgrappleā too. Today we are to get to 68 and Iām loving the sunshine! Hope you get some of this later in the week there!
Dottie, do you have car seats both in Florida and at home? I think we have 5 different car seats right now. 2 for Mara and boosters for both Harper & Sawyer (Sawyerās is still a 5 pt harness one). And I think we have one of the flat boosters also. Do you have 2 summer wardrobes also? Are you going to be working for your old employer after all the restrictions are gone?
We did get to Costco yesterday about 11:30. It was fairly crowded but we got right in. Iād say over 1/2 had masks on. Their big board out front said they had tp in stock; but it was the huge commercial type rolls. Tons and tons of paper towels tho. We stopped at Target on our way by and I ran in to see if they by chance had TP and yeast (younger DD is looking for yeast and thereās none to be found). They had about a dozen or more big packages of Charmin; and probably 50 packages of Cottonelle and a couple other brands. I picked up one package of Charmin since they had it. I put together a gift bag for DF Ritaās birthday (boxes of Kleenex, a pkg of nice napkins, 2 big rolls of paper towels, half dozen rolls of Charmin, and 3 boxes of flavored coffee pods for her Keurig coffeemaker) and after dropping off things we had for DSās family, we stopped and dropped off Ritaās gift bag. She didnāt get it until about 8:30 last night, even tho I dropped it off at 3:30. They āsaidā they called her right away to let her know it was there, but she said no one called her. So when she called down to see if she had a package, they brought it up to her but not for more than an hour or so later. I had texted her to see if sheād gotten it, because it was just sitting on a table inside the front door of her senior building. And with desired paper products, I didnāt want things to disappear out of it. She was thrilled and called me right away. She said especially the Charmin, she said, āitās the good stuff!!!ā! She said a few times her daughters have had to get her just whatever was available and itās like sandpaper!! So I was glad I had gotten stuff she needed and will use.
I have not gotten back downstairs to work. My get up and go is missing! I am going out for a walk when I get off here and then hope to get down there right after! And Iāve had no interest in anything that is listed. I have kid clothes, adult clothes, a pencil for an iPad Pro, rollerblades and ice skates (adult for both), plus helmets, and the wrist/elbow/knee pads to go with, a purse. I have other things to list too, some kid toys, a vacuum, and other odds and ends that we need to pull out. Just not sure why thereās no interest, but right now there isnāt. Hopefully there will be soon. The sites are selling stuff.
Joy, I sat in on more first Zoom WW workshop this morning. I didnāt have my camera or my microphone on because I wanted to see what a meeting was like. But it was my favorite leader and interesting, so I am going to try to catch a couple meetings a week, hopefully his Sunday morning ones and then one of the 2 on Wednesday. I need that inspiration and motivation.
Ok, going to go and get outside. Will check in tonight later on. Have a good day all.

Ruth - glad you enjoyed the Zoom meeting. One of our members is logging into 2 or 3 meetings a week, in several states. Sheās been on a meeting in Alaska, California ... she says she searches for meetings by city and just joins in. I might try another meeting somewhere, sounds like fun.
We had a bit of sadness today. One our members lost her sister to the virus and decided she needed to get back to something normal.
See ya tomorrow
