Good morning all....welcome to Monday Hope you gals slept well. I slept pretty good for which I'm grateful. It poured buckets last night and the wind picked up at times. Luckily we were able to hold onto our power. Always a good thing.
It's pretty dreary out there but no wind or rain yet...so I'll take it.
Already I accomplished a few of the household chores...wiped down surfaces and cleaned both bathrooms and kitchen. Also have the first load of laundry washing. I shall do a few more things later on.
Need to sit plan and track my day while having coffee.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Monday!! We woke to glorious sunshine with temps in the mid-40's today, predicted to go to low 60's. I will definitely take that!! In fact this week promises to be a bit warmer, even though there will be rain. I mean, what would Spring be without showers??
Change of plans for last night ….. We saw that there was a second hour of “God Friended Me” on, so we skipped “Chicago PD” and watched that instead. It apparently was the season finale, and I wondered if it was a finale (forever)?? But only time will tell.
Pam ~ Yay on your time for walking! I used to walk a 17 minute mile without even trying, but then I stopped walking for a few years, and now I have no idea what my ‘speed’ is. You are doing great!! Glad you got to hear your favorite priest yesterday.
Ann ~ Thanks for opening up the Cafe this morning!! “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” starred Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly and Esther Williams. There was, of course, a pool scene with her swimming. It was in color, whereas the second movie was black & white. Glad you slept well. You have really gotten a lot done this morning. I have had breakfast and started getting put together for the day.
Judy ~ Glad your DD checked and her stimulus check is on its way. Ours is due to be mailed Friday. I checked again this morning, and it still says Friday (hope that is true). Hope Daisy slept through the night for you. I am also grateful to be 'employed' as I am still getting paid by our school district. I do have some apprehension about what the status will be in September. I love my job and have come to rely on the income. But we'll have to see .....
I had plain FF yogurt with blackberries and Fiber One for breakfast, and have planned on Hamburger Pie for supper. I took out a pound of ground beef to thaw. I have been changing some light bulbs, which is always a chore for me, as I have older ones and newer ones and yet I like for them to 'match'. Oh well ......
BBL. Make a great day!!

Will have to look into that movie. I thought it was an oldie but goodie. Nice when plans change and are just as enjoyable. I'm envious of your sunshine. Ours is the liquid variety.
Going to Hannafords now. Hope the rain is keeping people away.
Later.

Good morning all - Happy rainy Monday. Another week and off we go, or should I say "in we stay"! I slept well last night after another episode of The Wire. Binging makes it hard to stop watching but we are doing an episode or two a night - that's it. We want to get to bed earlier. D&D both slept well and I am convinced the long walk helped them. They didn't wake me until 6:45. DH left for Boston at 6 and he is very quiet leaving the room every day. I never wake up! I made stuffed peppers last night and we enjoyed two halves each. I am going to make the Mexican vegetable soup today with the other few peppers, zucchini and other ingredients. That will be a good lunch for me. We'll have the stuffed peppers for dinner since our Hello Fresh order does not arrive until after 7 PM during this COVID time. Usually that provides dinners for Tuesday, Wed and Thurs. unless we delay a night. The meals stay fresh for several days. I had an Oikos Cherry yogurt and strawberries for breakfast. The berries were the size of plums and very good!
I like that you switched us to a daily thread, too. It will help me keep track of what day it is! LOL
I am weighing daily and down .2 today. I'll take any decrease!
Have a great day all. I will check back soon.

Back again. Scored all we needed on our list but for Clorox wipes and Lysol spray. No biggie. We shall make do. Still drizzling out and cold. Should it stop, we'll walk. All is wiped down and put away. Now it's time for a well deserved cup of coffee. Yeah to your weight loss, Judy. I had a maintain for which I was also grateful for. Our episode binge sounds perfect Also happy that D&D are sleeping in! I don't hear that coffee perking...must be ready to pour Waving to Pam and will CBL Glad y'all like the daily thread.

I am also back from shopping. I just felt the need to get out of the house, AND I knew Meijer restocked over the weekend. I wanted some more ground beef and found some packages on sale so grabbed two! I also replaced my braided pretzels and some Diet Coke. I wanted new light bulbs for my kitchen over the sink, and I found exactly what I wanted in LED and the Meijer brand (so more affordable). Now it looks the way I like.
I plan to make Hamburger Pie for supper, which will yield two servings for another meal. Yay!!
I have put everything away, and drank a Premier Protein drink for my lunch. DH has gone to do a job today, so he will be gone for a while. I sliced up strawberries and sweetened them for tomorrow night's supper (with waffles).
I got the box of wind chimes out (again) and will rehang them today. I had to take them down when we had the horrific wind storm, and I'm glad I did. We have temps right around 60 with sunshine and no wind, so I am thinking of a walk in my future, then reading on the patio??
Will check in later.

Glad you scored big time Sue. I love my wind chimes and they are talking to me gig time today. Still drizzling then raining out so doubt I'll get a hood walk in today.
Forgot to mention went to Walgreens beside Hannaford and picked up Sally Hanson gel polish and gel top coat. Most definitely not a professional job lol but it fits the bill and will keep them protected which is what I'm after. The color is called totem-ly yours 🌝.
I found meatballs and a container of Mariana sauce in the freezer. That is now in my small instant pot to enjoy with a salad for supper. May even use extra points for garlic bread.
Going to plug myself into relaxing music now while Carl and LuLa are napping.

Forgot to mention THE BILL came today. Haven't heard from Marilyn or Hometown so for now I'm keeping myself optimistic. Counting my blessings that I was able to pick up the mail, open it up and comprehend it.

Hello to all!
It's a beautiful, sunny spring day with temps in the mid-70's and a bit of a breeze. It will be perfect for a nice walk later. Laundry is in full swing and I have puttered around cleaning up clutter. Windows and doors are open and a nice breeze is blowing through. I have some homemade chicken noodle soup simmering and it will be my lunch today and tomorrow. Dinner tonight is smoked beef pieces in au jus over baked potatoes, with fresh beet greens as a side.
I am happy to report I stayed OP yesterday and did not do any night snacking other than my one piece of chocolate and a cup of Sleepy Time tea. I slept very well even though I had to make a bathroom trip at some point. So far today, I feel very motivated.
I am gearing up for a trip to Walmart tomorrow. I plan to go after senior hour, which I am told has way too many people. Since they are allowing only a limited number of people inside, I will have to wait in line. There are some things, like flour, that we seem unable to get with online orders. I want to see for myself whether it is available on a shelf or not. For some reason, some items are marked "in store purchase only" which leads me to believe the item is stocked, but for whatever reason not available for curbside pick up. Makes no sense to me!
The other big thing I need to do is drop off the car for a much-needed oil change. DH can pick me up so I don't have to wait.

Yeah to remaining OP Pam. I agree makes no sense to me either. I hope you find all that you need. I was reading where some states were opening industrial size packages of flour and resealing them in regular size packages. That makes sense.
Supper is done, kitchen is cleaned and I'd go for a walk but it's still raining out. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Enjoy your beautiful weather.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Tuesday!! We have beautiful sunshine this morning with temps in the low 50's. I will definitely get out for a walk as it is supposed to rain later on. I walked once yesterday - twice around the complex - and then felt tired. Maybe it was all the walking I did in Meijer shopping??
I didn't sleep well at all last night and neither did DH. I kept having the strangest dream and would purposely wake myself up to get away from it - then go back to sleep only to go right back to it. Must have been something going on because he had the same dilemma. Hopefully tonight will be better?
We changed our menu for last night and enjoyed the Strawberry Waffles with Turkey Sausage for supper. When I looked at the strawberries, some of them were getting a bit mushy, so we ate them up instead of wasting them. Now I'll make the Hamburger Pie for tonight's supper.
DH has cooked breakfast and we were well-fed, now he is off to do a job and I will go start my day.
BBL. Make a great day!!
