Weekly goals: tracking my food, weighing and measuring, attending my WW virtual meeting, exercising, meditating, keeping up with my online support groups. I know my goals are the same from week to week but all the activities support me maintaining my weight. Me-time: exercising, meditating, computer time, and puzzles.

WEEKLY GOALS: accurate tracking not just writing words down without the points + continuing with the 60 minute per day walking
ME TIME: While walking I choose to read a book NOT for review purposes...books piled up in my Nook that I really want to read ALSO perhaps a soak in the tub with the book I am reading...
OTHER: My sister signed up for WW after friends, husband and wife, have dropped 20 pounds. She is doing the blue program so I have been looking into it and wondering which program I would do. I am leaning toward purple since it has so many vegan/vegetarian options and I think Blue is more for an omnivore. The next trick would be to find out food points for foods not zero points and determining how many points one gets per day...and a few other things.

Me time: I finally reached my WW goal, )although I still have a ways to get to my personal goal) so now I can attend the Virtual meetings. cathygeha , I read that there is rioting in Lebanon now. The article said it was over the devaluation of the money and the rising food prices. There were demonstrations against the government before Covid-19 shutdowns and the new government being put in place. Those were about the corrupt government and poor economy. The lockdown made everyone stay home and stopped the demonstrations and as the economy worsened the banks started not giving money to the people and now will not give dollars to those with dollars in the bank. People can take their dollars out of the banks at an exchange rate that is not in keeping with the money exchange and true value of the dollar in the real market.
When I moved to Lebanon in 1978 the dollar was worth 3 lira
Something happened to devalue the money and many lost all of their savings if in lira...can't remember the year but at some point it was finally stabilized at 1,500 lira per dollar
For years the dollar has been worth 1,500 Lebanese lira.
The Lebanese Central Bank (and banks) have been saying a dollar is worth 1,500 Lebanese lira
BUT The money exchange has been buying dollars for increasing numbers of lira and a number were arrested for not following the guidelines set by the government. It did get up to 4,000 lira per dollar but not sure what it was today.
Anyway...there are demonstrations and riots and breaking of banks and such.
The other problem is that businesses have to buy goods in dollars and sell in lira. The cost of everything is increasing and what people are being paid in lira per month is not buying as much as it used to due to the value of the lira against the dollar
It is a mess!
