How do you managed snacks? Are they plan or do you wait until you feel hunger and have something to eat, or is there another trigger for eating a snack?

My snacks are planned throughout the day. Since I have snacks during the day I hardly ever get real hunger. Very rarely I will have an extra snack.

I don't usually eat snacks. If I do it is usually a fruit from the garden. In the past it was popcorn sometimes but we don't have much if any now so have not been having it. In summer I might have a smoothie or iced latte with crushed ice in what I call a frappaccino

I don’t usually snack unless I have wine. It goes back to the question about rules? I grew up not being permitted to snack between meals. It’s difficult to break that thought pattern. I treat after-dinner snacks like dessert, which is another thing we only had on special occasions.
With the last review I started planning for them and it’s made a big difference.

I don't really plan snacks, but I know what I will have - usually cheese. I weigh it out. The decision to snack or not to sanck usually depends on where I'm at with my calorie total for the day. If I'm aware that I'm wanting something for an emotional reason, I try to step back and not go for it.
