Hi, Denise. It’s a cool, rainy day here in West Central Ohio. It started raining when I was at Kroger.
Iggy is down for lunch and driving me crazy. BBL.

Liz, so happy to hear from you and know you are hanging in there and that Gary is still doing okay as well. It is hard to contain the masses of humanity in your area and I think Cuomo has done a great job. I pray for your health of mind and body.
Linda, that was a good article on Gov. Dewine. He has been a great leader throughout the pandemic. You were a cleaning dervish yesterday. Did you continue the yard work this morning? I guess all the lifting and cutting has tightened the muscles and made your clothes looser.
Becky, I hope your pastor waits another week to open the church. Is there room enough to sit farther apart? Kroger didn’t have any disinfectant wipes today. I read that some of the chemicals used in them come from China and are in short supply. How are the foot and calf doing?
Kathy, I am glad the deliveries went well. I was all stuffed up with allergies on Tuesday and wanted to go to Kroger but I couldn’t breathe with the mask on, so I waited until today. Kroger had a fantastic deal on ground pork and Iggy loves quesadillas with pork so I got some. There were no zucchini or okra but the carrots were back. I am not surprised about the same people coming back every day for TP.
Karen, did you do your temperature check before Osteo today or didn’t you go? Are you feeling any better? I caught upon 9-1-1 last night when I had trouble sleeping.like you I was not crazy about the Eddie episode, but the next one was back on form. Today is about 10° cooler than Tuesday with scattered showers. Yesterday we had wind and downpours and I had a bad headache all day. This morning it was much better.
Enjoy the rest of the day.

Chele, thanks for the start. They had an article in the local paper on preparations for hurricane season and the problems they're going to have with shelters and social distancing. I don't see how people will stock up like usual either since the inventory is low in the stores. I don't even want to think about it! It's a rainy day here too, but will still probably get above 80. Will you make veggie quesadillas for yourself? I'm sure Iggy will enjoy the pork ones. Some things in Florida will reopen on Monday, but it looks like a fairly sensible approach. Restaurants, museums, libraries and retail stores can open, but at 25% capacity. Elective surgeries can restart. Gyms, hair salons, bars, theme parks and vacation rentals remain closed. South Florida is exempt from this and remains under the original stay at home order. The new order will be in effect for 2 weeks for the rest of Florida and then they'll assess what to do next.
Karen, hope you're fully recovered and feeling back to normal.
Waving to all. Have a good Thursday.

We get some things open with masks Monday with appointment, more things the following Monday and maybe restaurants May 12 with spacing and wait staff in masks washing hands each time they come to table.
This morning's yard adventure was Straightening out the falling down edging. Of course nailed my hand on the rose bush right where a raised aged vein is. Almost done, discovered a bottle tree was growing ...Invasive roots to China. That excited ants I did not know lived there who now have a Terro stake with upside down flower pot to keep Micki off it.
housework was change a bed, laundry, clean kitchen. I still have the kitchen and bath floors to go, but want to cool off. heading for 104 again but cloudy on and off.

Thanks for the start, Chele. I just saw a preview of next week's 9-1-1 and it looks like Abby is back. Did Iggy go back to the office so he got off your last nerve? Nice that you have a governor who is on top of things. I'm not sure our guy is. Definitely hard to breathe through a mask with a stuffy nose. Do you have an emergency plan at your house? We kind of do, thanks in part to the wildfires in 2016. We had rain today as well, which was a bit of a surprise. It was also windy and a bit cooler than I had expected and we spent 90% of our time outside at the plant sale, so I was glad I had a jacket in the car. I had a sinus headache part of yesterday as well, but wasn't bad enough to take anything. I'm glad yours eased up this morning. Mine was also gone. I hope the carnivore will enjoy his quesadillas. I used to love them when I was a cheese eater. No Osteo til next week, which worked out perfectly for the plant sale. Linda, the only olive trees I have ever seen are the Italian ones and they tend to get loaded with fruit and I wonder how long they will live with all the pressure on their branches. Is that why most people there use a fruit stop, so the trees last longer? Doing your yard work early is a great idea, especially with how warm it gets there already. Congrats on the NSV with the looser clothes. I'll bet you are building muscle and that's why your wt hasn't changed. I hope you avoided ant bites with the surprise find. What is a "bottle tree"? I googled it and the only photos I got have wine bottles on them. I hate invasives! We have several locus trees near the blueberries and elderberries and you get rid of them and they come back. It's been an annual problem since we moved here. I wished they had delayed our gym openings, Becky, but they open tomorrow. I'm trying to figure out whether I want to go back to AF or try out a Workout Anytime that is actually a little closer and they have some different machines that I might like. I'll do a trial couple of sessions first, which is easy because it's Silver Sneakers. Continuing to do your church services online is a smart move. I talked to a couple of friends today, one 7th Day Adventist and the other Methodist, and both are delaying in-person services until June. I agree that your generic Chlorox wipes are probably just as good. We can't get them so I put bleach and water in a spray bottle and I'm using a rag with that. How many counties in TX have less than 5 confirmed cases, unless they haven't been doing testing? How was PT today? Kathy, it really is exhausting to clean all those groceries. I made a "quick" stop at our WM Neighborhood (almost $90 and didn't buy much ) after 4 hours at the plant sale and I am exhausted. It seems like they should be getting the grocery delivery process down to a science. I was lucky enough to score a pack of TP and got Arya 2 lbs of organic ground beef. WM has a limit of "2 packages per species" so I guess if I took Arya with me, we could have gotten 4 because she's a different species ?? I have only heard you mention going to a theme park once or twice in all the years we have been on the thread together. When you live in a tourist trap, it really is different. I wonder if Disney will pre-sell passes so they can stick to the 50% rule. I can't see them turning people away if more than capacity show up. And there is no way to put 6 ft between yourself and others on most of the rides. I hadn't thought about the extra issues that could arise during hurricanes so far as the covid regs. I did hear something about South FL opening ahead of North FL. Did I hear that it doesn't apply to Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties? GSMNP is opening in phases starting next weekend. How has the week been, Liz? What is your focus now that cases and deaths are starting to decrease (FINALLY!)? How are things at Gary's place? Denise, with being an essential worker and having to go out, is traffic pretty sane in your area? We had lots of volunteers at the plant sale and got all the orders filled. First wave of pick up is going on right now. I stayed til about 1:15 and that was enough because I was on my feet the entire time. GF was there and we haven't seen each other for months (only email) so we got caught up, so I didn't mind staying the extra time. The plant inspector (we are a licensed nursery) passed everything. It's amazing how we are pulling this off with such challenging circumstances. We have a good group. In addition to WM, I stopped at Walgreens and was able to get the hair elastics I need to make more masks. Both places it was about 50/50 on mask wearing, but I was one of the few people wearing gloves. WM had clearly marked arrows and "do not enter" decals on aisle floors but some people apparently weren't looking down and it was a problem. I did manage to find my favorite Amy's gluten free vegan mac & cheeze, so I will be having that for dinner. We had enough people volunteer for tomorrow, so I'll have a day at home. I have several new tomato and pepper plants, plus a Green Knight Eggplant that I need to start hardening off so I can plant them next week. I also plan to try to see if I can revive some of the tomato plants that aren't doing very well. I think I'll see if I can use a little 13-13-13 fertilizer to see if that will help.

Karen, so glad to hear the plant sale is going well. I think they had good leadership. Disney already turns people away when they reach capacity, so I don't see an issue with them doing that at a lower capacity. I would guess people just go to one of their other parks if they show up and they aren't letting more people in. South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties) isn't opening yet, so the new order just applies to the rest of the state. I had one bag of groceries that was dry stuff and was going to leave it in the garage for awhile, but I decided to make sure there wasn't anything else in it. You might know, there was an Amy's burrito in the bottom of the bag! Good thing I checked. I'll have to try that mac & cheese sometime. I like some of Amy's entrees, but usually get the lighter ones.

Kathy, I didn't realize Disney closely enforced the limits, even at full capacity. That's a good thing and should help when they have to lower the limits. Did I misunderstand the news segment and it's the north and not the south reopening? I imagine you won't be changing your routine for a while until you see if cases are increasing. Is DM also staying put? GF told me today about a person she cleans for who is 84 and has diabetes and a couple of other issues and her DH has heart problems. But they are convinced that the virus doesn't really exist and it's a worldwide conspiracy to keep Trump from getting re-elected. So they are not wearing masks, ignoring social distancing, and are back doing as many things as they possibly can. I hope they don't pay dearly for their behavior. Good thing you checked the bag so you didn't have to discard the burrito. The Amy's mac I get is the gluten free one with the "cheeze" instead of cheese. Nutritional profile could be better (20gr fat, 7gr protein, and only 3gr fiber), but it's great comfort food and definitely not one of their lighter ones. When I plan that in for the day, I make sure I up the protein and fiber in other ways.

Karen, yes, you must have misunderstood the news segment or maybe they said it wrong. All of Florida is reopening on a limited basis except for those 3 counties in South Florida. So, north, central, southwest and the parts of South Florida that aren't in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties will open some things at 25% capacity on Monday. The 3 counties are where the majority of Florida's cases are, so it makes sense not to reopen them yet. Of course, there's nothing preventing people from there coming up here. That's crazy on the 84 year old, but there are a lot of people that think this is a hoax or overblown. We will all probably stay put for the next 2 weeks and see how it goes. Sometimes you just gotta have mac & cheese. Or cheeze!

moonriver, Iggy is my husband. We have been married for 39 years. It finally stopped raining here, but it is chilly. Karen, Iggy is not back in the office. He is still hanging around home. I have to chase him back upstairs to work. I am glad the plant sale went well. Yes, we have emergency plans. Kathy, we are definitely not going to be able to stock up like we usually do for tornado season. I hope our area does not get hit like it did last Memorial Day. People still have not fully recovered from that. Ido make veggie quesadillas for me. I use the electric panini grill so I don’t have to flip them.

Chele Thanks for the start. Our pastor is starting up this Sunday. He did send out a very nice call today to all members saying if you don't feel comfortable coming back yet to please stay at home and nobody will think any different of you. They still record the service but it won't be ready till late afternoon which is okay since we have another preacher we also stream his services. There will only be room for 35-45 people so we just won't go this week.I'm not even sure I could sit for an hour with my knee straight anyway. My foot still hurts but I was able to walk 1 mile with the regular PT guy today. He will be here on Tuesday,I have my 8 week post op appointment with the surgeon on Wednesday and the head PT will come out Thursday to release me from home health. They can no longer justify me as being home bound since I am able to go to the grocery store and walking every day.I do hope I can get on with outbound therapy soon because I really need a challenge.
Karen Was this the MG plant sale? There are actually several counties in Texas who don't have any cases. One county that was set to open up tomorrow only had 1 case and they had had a city council meeting and one person tested positive and now they have 15 cases with a good number awaiting test results so they closed down city hall there.Today TX recorded the highest number of deaths and we are still partially opening up tomorrow.Go figure. We went to our Walmart superstore today and it was the busiest I have ever seen.It was mostly people buying non food items.Their meat didn't look good which is why I never buy meat there. They had 3 registers open which is unheard of there with long lines waiting to be checked out.Even self checkout registers had a small line.I'm glad we only go there when we need something HEB doesn't have.Yea on the TP. I have been having good luck finding it at HEB lately when I need some.I wish our WM had the one way aisles but then HEB doesn't either so I guess it doesn't matter that much.
Linda LOL on the drug deal.
