Thinking Mistake #8: Justification
You link two unrelated concepts (to justify your eating).
"I deserve to eat this because I'm so stressed out."
"It's okay to eat this because it's free."
How do you handle this?

If I've been thinking about eating something for awhile (days) I often finally break down and have it even though it is extra eating not planned.

My justifications are usually:
* I don't see this often where I live so should eat and enjoy it when I do see it * It wouldn't be here if it wasn't meant for me to eat it (kind of like a sign from the universe meant for me)

When Iām feeling bored: Well, this will make me feel better so....... Or, I have room in my budget so..... Or , Iām gonna eat it anyway so why not eat it right now and get it over with?

Yes, mine is I have the calories to spare. I think this is OK as long as I'm maintaining.
