FITNESS FRIDAY... I need to start today thinking FITNESS (NOT TGIF)FRIDAY to hit the weekend on a healthier note!! I think this mess of weather is supposed to CLEAR today... so why not make the most of better weather? I hit 4k steps yesterday.... only 4 out of 10 "dots" but when I went upstairs last night I decided to ride my bike for 20 minutes! It didn't help me sleep... but that's another issue for another day!
Today is FRIDAY... Made it through another long week... with no light at the end of this tunnel - so I'll take the weekends to enjoy my time AWAY from my "desk"! SO IF the weather clears I will venture outside more during the day... a little walk around the house each hour...IF I feel the BUZZ on my wrist. I tell ya' sometimes I truly do not even feel it! Either it is not working correctly or I have just gotten used to pushing through it... but today I will be more AWARE of the time!!
The solar folks are supposed to call me today - so that may interfere with my plan... we'll see if I can get 7 out of 10 dots today!
OK Coffee is ready... let me see how caught up I can get before time to get ready for work!

Gabrielle: Today is your day to venture out early right? No "work-work" for today? OH I hope you find plants for your beds and you get in and out of the greenhouse quickly!
UGH No my internet has been awful most of the week! Rainy days are the WORST... not sure why... Verizon called Tuesday and CANCELLED my line guy that was coming. He redirected us to go off a different router to see if it would make a difference... I swear it did for that one day - now back to crappy service! Yesterday was (I think) the worst it has ever been. Not always our HOME Internet... most of the time it was just the remote desktop connection. I think EVERY TIME it was when I had one certain program running - I have an email into IT about it... but so far no response!
Yikes - lots of issues with coyotes out there huh?? Oh YAY - now hairdressers are doing "curbside to go" too??
Jenny: Oh Dear... I Agree they should be looking at folks who haven't been with the company as long as others! Fingers crossed you do NOT get laid off! I am surprised they may have to do that! I mean around here your kind of "construction" companies are not shut down! UGH If I was WWOW and that close to retirement - I'd WALK if I could! Especially with the "extra" Unemployment everyone is talking about!
I found out my BIL is "one of those" people.... sorry - being "judgmental" here... but HE asked to be laid off... because he was having back trouble - so his boss laid him off. So now he is "Collecting" and getting the "extra" $600.00 per week - making more than he made while working - add to that he is covering a shift or 2-3-4 for the SAME boss - working "under the table"! Just burns my butt - to watch him take advantage of the situation - and I know he;s not the only one! THIS is why I am not in agreement with an across the board "Extra" payment for Unemployment... there could have been a way to be more "fair" about it. OK MY Rant - OVER! LOL Oh no - I knew exactly what you meant... made sense to me! {{{hugs}}}
Sue: WOO HOO for having time to get procedures updated... I keep thinking I'll have time to do my mandatory training... but I get so frustrated with the internet - I don't want to be in the middle of a "class" and have it go out on me!
Yes, LOL It seems every time I wander outside I move another thing... or small pile... found 3 random cinder blocks the other day so got them moved to the big stack... I don't know, I have listed cinder blocks, bricks, rocks and slate - several times FOR FREE and no one actually comes to get them! They all say they want them - but then don't show up... or change their minds... I hit it just right (timing) for the brick lady... BTW She did NOT come back for the last pile! But... that's OK... we now have a small pile - and I will probably just lay them out neatly by the building... and see if we need them somewhere as time goes by!
Yes... custom made windows take time to make! It's OK... this 6 weeks, now 5, will go by fairly quickly... and it appears I will be here when they come to do the work! I want to be here when they are doing it... just to SEE... Hmmm, No Window World is a nation wide company - but individually owned and operated... ours is a family owned and operated business - going on 65 years in our area. The guy that came here to sell it to me - sent his nephew to do the measuring... Oh Sue - I think by now you know you won't be furloughed... they have pretty much given you their word - they will FIND work for you... no need to stress over that!
Oh yes, we too are supposed to have great weather this weekend... well Saturday may start off icky but by Sunday afternoon we are supposed to see 70 degrees! FINGERS CROSSED IT HAPPENS!

Hmmm, I think Wednesday was the day we had wicked nice weather - so Tracy and I spent my 1 hour lunch outside in the hot tub... I don't think I got here all day yesterday?
Sue: I am hoping this afternoon to open my slider - and let the warm air inside!
Christine: LOL I GET YOU! I know if I were working - at work - I'd get out to enjoy the weather as it comes... being home and NOT being able to be out there is driving me nuts! I also feel like if I am home... I should be doing other things - not work-work... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, doesn't matter - no matter what I am not going to be "happy" these days!
OH dear... wouldn't want to pay TWO people to mow my lawn! This may just be THE YEAR we hire Jeff to just do it weekly... Ken is truly dragging these days - with so many changes at the store... he is late getting home EVERY night now... I know it's the early stages of "taking ownership" but it just feels like too much some days!
OMG YES... I NEED to get Back.On.Track.! I did fairly well yesterday - not enough water, but ate better... Wednesday I did great on water, but eating was not so good... WHY can't I just DO IT?? My weight too can go up and down each and every day!
Yup... here too... the Verizon guy assured me we were getting more bandwidth after he switched up to the central office - nope FIOS not available here... go figure! Ken is still working with "Wired West" a town owned broadband service... supposed to be moving along - but Good Lord, it is moving at a snail's pace!! At this point IF anyone wanted to buy our house - once they find out they cannot get Verizon installed for themselves - they would back out! There is a "waiting list" for new customers out here... the only way they could GET ANY Internet would be if I also "sold" them my service... which I would never do... as it would have to remain in our names... and we'd be "responsible" for the bill! Not many folks will want to buy a house with no internet at all! Still frustrated here!
Oh Man... I thought maybe DL had simmered down and was easing into retirement!! No go huh?? I just don't get how he (the Prince) can allow DL to use his email and his name like that!! Good Lord... that man needs to grow up! He must be worried he'll lose HIS job! OY VEY! YAY for you being able to provide the "list" for the mailings! LOL Two... what a list!!
Gabrielle: I will "try" to get outside and MOVE each day... Oh dear... I do hope your Gov backs off and gives you - the teachers AND the students the usual summer break!
LOL Well yesterday I skipped the shower... did get dressed, but have to say it may have contributed to my "feelings" yesterday! Oh dear, me too... I hope that the kids will come up - maybe for a cook out OUTSIDE - if I promise no hugs or kisses? Can I possibly promise that??? But if I keep it at "just us", we'd only be a group of 6... I don't know, I just think this has to end soon!
PLANNING... that's the key... I need to make a plan... maybe tonight I can work on what we will eat at least for the weekend!
Jo: Hey - YAY to being busy?? LOL Good luck - hope you get a nice weekend! Do you have another family Zoom planned??
Jenny: WOO HOO for the good news! NO LAYOFF!!
Sue: Have to LOL that golf courses and campgrounds are opening! Here the Drive-In is opening but will likely hire on "car-hops" so they won't open the concession stand to "public"! That is also where a few HS graduations will be held, with everyone staying in their cars - until the graduating senior is called...
Aww, feel bad for Colton - add to the fact he is stuck at home... half the time he is STUCK with Amanda!
Yup... being HERE but not BEING here, is tough! I want to be out there doing things, but I am "at work"... just gotta find a balance!
OK Well, still not caught up here yet, but gotta get the day started!
Will CBL as I can ♥hugs♥

Good Morning - HAPPY it's FRIDAY and yes, will jump on my bike today. Promise to myself, to join in Fitness Friday.
Did a flyby - ugh, I really shouldn't as it messes with my head - up a few oz. which I know is a 'blip' but still...and feeling REALLY upset with my body. Not only the weight, but get this, I seriously hurt my foot/ankle again~ on Monday, Gary and I were walking with ColbyGirl - she went one way, I went another, and TWING there went my left foot. Are you serious??? I said "OW!" which I NEVER NEVER do - OMG - and since Monday it hurts worse even when elevated. Beyond frustrated. AND I've been wearing good support sneakers every day, all day, with my ortho supports inside. I've got to stop this merry-go-round! So, will NOT walk and give the foot/ankle a rest, but instead will get back on my Bike before Linds moves back home.
Oh, I did pick out a few desks - waiting for Linds to chime in her opinion as it's for HER room eventually - otherwise I'm moving forward to having it shipped here and will re-arrange her bedroom to fit it. DH just asked last night if I heard from Linds? I don't dare interrupt her panic mode in getting those darn papers written! LOL
Treated myself to a nice glass of wine and a long fun chat with Cheryl yesterday. No time limit, no Have To Do, as we already planned out Take Out for dinner - I ordered a steak salad, no fries, no dressing, no cheese - used my 1 point Reduced Fat Ranch dressing instead. Yummm - and boy, did I ever need that time to just sit and laugh. It was so good!
Naturally after dinner both Gary and Carly had a list of things they needed me for! Really, people? Can't a girl catch a break? DH needed (no, WANTED) his hair cut, and Carly needed help applying for another Student Loan to cover her summer classes. None was very hard or THAT time consuming, but the point is they never ever let me be. LOL
Carly was put in quite a position by her University. She was supposed to live in Pgh all summer and finish her Orientation & Mobility certificate (teach Visually Impaired to walk with a cane and navigate their community). That was cancelled. She had her funds set aside for this portion - but since they cancelled they scheduled her for 3 online courses (not 1) with the tuition due NOW. Geesh - I didn't want her to take a loan but she can't work much AND do 3 classes (the amount of school work and research is ridiculous) The good news is University of PITT obtained a grant for Grad students. Each one was given $1,000 direct deposit. It helps - since their Summer tuition classes are very expensive.

Should really call today's title FOGGY FRIDAY as our weather is awful today. Temps in the 40s, cold, damp, fog, and just overcast all day. No thoughts of planting anything outdoors just yet with this going on. Oh, my Weather.com site works better. This morning I was determined to figure out why it froze - they have added COVID-19 update/alerts tab. For some reason this messed with my browser? so I just let it sit. And sit. And sit. Finally the ads loaded, and ta-daa! Navigation worked again - it just needs extra time to load all the ads?? I must be far more impatient than this site can handle lol Full day of work today - gotta do my hair and look nice. All Staff Meeting today at 9:00 followed by Queen Bee's meeting (why? Oh, because SHE is so important! lol) Followed by reaching out to parents of students not submitting assignments through Google Classroom per teachers directions and constant attempts to help them do this - our school finally posted a message board with YouTube videos how to submit assignments and request for our IT Support if needed. I'll direct parents to this if needed. Enjoy your FRIDAY everyone!

Took earlier lunch today - 67 out there, but with sun in and out - it doesn't feel very "warm"!
So far 6 for 6 on my dots! YAY! Nothing "grand" but moving every hour - even if it's walking laps around the kitchen island, while waiting for my tea water!! I am also (already) at 68 oz of water... Tracked my breakfast... now to track my salad with tuna for lunch! Feeling better about today... is it the shower and change of clothes?? The past few days I only did T-Shirts and sweatshirts... today I am back to a blouse and cardigan! Or is it knowing the sun was going to shine?? Who knows, but whatever it is I'll take it!!
More internet issues today... was on the phone with IT for a while, apparently nothing they can do!! I am pretty close to sending screen shots to my home email again! LOL NEED to have a print out - if that program is going to shut off on me every time I am in there!!
Back to Thursday to finish catching up!
Christine~ Thanks for starting us yesterday... guess I should have stopped by - I needed the THINK FIRST memo! OH well no worries about what's already behind me! Oh and I did WI today - not "pretty" but hey I did it! Not like I haven't seen this number in the past few weeks either! It will come back down...
Sue: Saw your FB post of lasagna... wish I lived closer to more places to choose from! Except, MAN A dinner for 8? We'd never eat it all before it went bad... and we love lasagna!! Anyway... enjoy it
Christine - I wonder too if some folks around here (Matthew included) that were SO sick in December and January - actually had a "mild" case of Covid? I remember being in Boston and them doing more tests to make sure he was well enough for his chemo!
Oh Christine... work-work is well, tiresome! I have told Ken & Tracy that even though I didn't enjoy the commute... I guess I needed that 30 minutes after work - before dealing with home/dinner/stuff... this getting up from the desk to move directly to making dinner is OVER! I told Tracy yesterday I'd be upstairs watching mindless TV for about an hour... LOL SHE started dinner! I guess she was worried I'd forget??
Today I am taking FULL advantage of my time - and going outside every hour! OH yes... I had to revert back to my table... the bar wasn't working any more! It was OK for standing, but the stool just isn't good for sitting. Add to that it has a raised edge all around the outside - so my arms were achy - and oh - well - I don't know, I just needed to switch it up I guess. NOW When I sit at the table - in a nice comfy desk chair... my feet are in the sun! (when it shines)!
Aww, sorry DH and DD aren't good about sharing your space. While Ken & Tracy seem to "hover" they are quiet - esp. if I am on the phone! I was thinking about moving upstairs... into the spare room... but with it not painted yet - I don't want my desk to be an additional reason to NOT get it painted! The best part of working upstairs is I'd get extra steps if I was coming down for a snack! LOL
Oh I hope you can have a small celebration for Linds - soon! Hey not much word of Carly and Ben... everything going well there?? Have they not seen each other during this whole time??
Jenny: Hope your new smoker arrives soon - and you can smoke to your heart's content!
Gabrielle: Yes I saw the beaches last weekend... was sure wishing I was there too! Virus or no virus I think a day at the beach is what I need!! LOL Oh dear... sorry DH's run was postponed, but so glad they just moved the entrants - and he won't have to qualify or WIN again! Fingers crossed you can do WA in August! Any ideas on when DS will head to OR to get his stuff??? How's he doing with classes on line??
Sue: I also want Tracy's procedure place - a medical building - to reopen ASAP so we can get her in for her surgery! They too already know how to practice germ free work!
Shelly: No worries my friend... we know how hard you are working - and how many hours you are putting in these days! I am back to Zyrtec a lot if days now... to fend OFF the allergies that I know will show up if I am not pro-active about them!

Hi just wanted to pop in to say Hi. got off at 330. Better than nothing.
Christine, yes that would drive me nuts! having people talk loudly while you are on a video conference. My family and dogs drive me nuts sometimes as it is. Very distracting. I'm glad you are moving up to Lindsey's room
Gigi, thanks for the name. I have to go for my annual to the Gyn, on Tuesday and will ask her about it.
ok almost time for the Skype with my Mum
have a great afternoon!

Afternoon all...went to the bank, to the store, did curbside pickup at the state store to get some wine and home by 1:30pm or so...had a busy morning today...kind of wish I wasn't off this afternoon but what's done is done....
Listened to the opening of PA news this afternoon on the computer...Christine is in the lucky side of the state that gets to move to "yellow" phase....not super freedom but better than "stay at home" phase like me...our county is only at 54 so we are close, maybe in another week or two for us....first opening is the 8th and they said that more would likely be shifted to "yellow" on the 15th.... Still the yellow phase doesn't open salons, gyms, parks or anything like that....just some more businesses that can provide proper CDC social distancing protocol. Restaurants are still take out or delivery in yellow as well plus the 6' social distancing rule and masks is still in place. Will be anxious to see if you notice any difference Christine when you open up!
Shelly...glad you got to pop in! No apologies needed....we all know how chaotic stores still are at this point! Can't believe Clayton still doesn't have an appointment yet....has he not called or is he not getting a response from the doctor??? YES...I'm tired of the "worse case scenario" comments too Shelly!! Just give us facts and current stats and what needs to happen before we can re-open and get to business kind of back to "normal"....the doom and gloom needs to stop! Yes, as things open, there will be more cases but I know here in PA if it's too many then counties will be sent back to the previous phase.....
Thanks for starting us off today Carole...hope by now you are starting to see some peaks of sunshine...we have been pretty nice all day which is SO MUCH better than the "wash out" they predicted for today earlier in the week. We did get a ton of rain....about 2" here, not sure what they got down at the lot...Jason will check the rain gauge when he's there after work today! WTG getting on the bike for 20 minutes last night!! That's great!!
Nope Carole...it's sounding like MA is not going to open up and change things anytime soon...I heard the other day MA is in a spike of cases....not sure where in the state though! Taking of the nicer days while working from home will definitely help!! Yes, really try to focus on that buzz on your wrist. Since you know working from home is inevitable for you for probably weeks longer....make the best of it and make those loops around the house!! Hope the solar folks do finally call you back today!!!
Sorry the internet issues continue Carole...that is so frustrating. I actually had to reboot my computer totally at work this morning because mine was acting stupid....I would look at the spinning hourglass for several minutes before things got going right.....did the reboot, went and sorted the mail....came back and it was fine!! Not sure what the issue was but glad it didn't last long!
Are you kidding me Carole...your BIL is "milking" the system for all that extra $$$ then working under the table too?? Sorry, in my book, that is just wrong!!! Honestly, I'm not sure why the whole extra $600 is even there.....I can see people getting what they are missing but why should those laid off get extra when those of working are not getting any bonus for keep at least part of the economy running.....both Jason and I are making less right now because no OT....we could use an extra $600!! OK, rant over!

Who knows Carole...maybe with everyone at home you might find the bricks, blocks, rocks etc will go if you list them....heck, people are off work and getting for free might be something they are interested in??? I'll have to check to see if there is a Window World around here...I honestly have never heard of them. Yes, I am confident most of the time that I'm safe at work but it's hard not to stress sometimes when I see the drop in work. I will do my best not to stress out!! LOL!! Yes, it is nice to finally getting some of my job notes updated....I'm hoping if nothing else by the time this corona virus chaos is winding down I will have most of them done!!
YAY for a hour in the hot tub on Wednesday....I'm sure it was hard to get out and get back to work!! LOL! I'm got a few windows open here now... and I came home and have officially turned all the heat off for the season...usually by mid-April at the latest the heat gets turned off but with the crazy April weather it was still on...I just decided...it's May and the heat is OFF!!!! With temps finally getting into the 60's and staying there for the 10 day forecast I think we are good now w/o heat!!
Sounds like getting Jeff to mow for you Carole would be a good thing this year especially with all the added stress and responsibilities of the new ownership of the store...at least for this year. I know Jason loves to mow and would only hire someone to mow if it was really really needed...to him it's "therapeutic"! LOL!
You know Carole...I think part of Colton's problem right now IS the fact half the time he is stuck with Amanda...she does not do anything WITH him....she buys him things to entertain himself but he has no real interaction with her....when at Sarah and Josh's they go for hikes or take the bikes to a big empty parking lot and set up obstacle courses, they play games...board games, they do puzzles, they have pizza/movie night as a family.....at her house, he is alone. Apparently all the boys live on electronics with little interaction as a "family"! Kind of sad to me!!
LOL...when I talk to people about the golf courses they say that they will be VERY empty....with only 1 person per cart and 15 minutes between tee times that is less than 20% of the usual golfers....according to the avid golfers at work it will be odd to have so few on the course! Not all campgrounds are open...only privately owned ones and one of the woman at work also works at a locally owned camp ground and they are only letting in a limited number of self reliant campers since they will be no hook ups for water or electric most will not go....plus you have to stay on your own camp site....not sure why you would drag all that crap out to sit in the woods by yourself??? Heck, you are alone at home and you don't have pay to stay home!

Christine...WTG committing to getting on the bike today!!! NOPE...maybe you ought not get on the scale...I have been trying to limit my trips to the scale....I have always been a daily weigher but since COVID-19 struck I have been trying not to and for some reason, while not really working "any plan" I'm going down....not sure if it's the fact I took the focus off the scale and just am focusing on good choices or what it might be but I'm not complaining....WI yesterday was still down 7#.....I am inching back to getting my "5" in the middle again....I am back down to what I weighed last June...while not proud of the fact I gained back even more weight I am proud that I'm maintaining for dropping at this point!
What a bummer about the foot/ankle...did you twist it??? Have you been icing it??? That might help it some.. The bike will definitely be a better alternative than walking ColbyGirl... will Gary take her by himself?? Glad you had a nice chat with Cheryl...was it virtual or "social distanced" Your salad sounds yummy!!! Sorry your nice time was then followed by a barrage of "need" from Gary and Carly!! Yes, I remember when Carly's summer class got cancelled and the professor was trying to do it on weekends in the fall. Question, are the 3 classes they replaced her original summer class/training or will she still have to do that at some point?? Well, that was nice of PITT to get the grant and help out the grad students....every little bit will help!
Sorry your weather Christine is so miserable...my side of the state is sunny, a little breeze, birds chirping....very nice day! It was 61° when I left work...fingers crossed spring soon finds you!! LOL, had to laugh that you had to do your hair to do your staff meeting....I say, your at home and have no one to impress, not even Queen Bee!! Heck, she's probably wearing pajama pants anyway!! LOL! Hopefully you can help the struggling students/parents to get their assignments submitted. I know that is people aren't "tech savvy" some of the technology can be frustrating and overwhelming.
WTG Carole....6 for 6 dots....keep up the good work....I did miss a dot last hour and my wrist just buzzed so I'm going to walk around the loop in the house to get at least 8 of 9 today!!
OK...I'm back....got my 8th dot of the day and was just shy of 8k steps I kept walking...even went out to the mailbox to check mail and then walked a couple loops in the driveway for fresh air!! Tomorrow I hope to be able to maybe walk at the adventure park if it is open for walkers...I know the playground is closed but maybe they let people on the walking loop!! We'll see???
Who knows Carole...maybe getting dressed in more "business casual" gives you a better outlook on the work day ahead??? Then again, the sun makes everything better no matter what you are wearing!! Sorry for the continued internet issues with NO HELP from IT.....gotta love that!! I say go for the screen shots...if they want you to get your work done, you need it!!
Oh Carole...no worries for the dinner for 8....we will eat it probably tonight and maybe one day over the weekend then both will pack a lunch for Monday. Jason will then put the rest in individual lunch containers in the freezer for lunches when we have no leftovers....no leftover days I make a can of tuna or a salad...he likes a "real lunch" as he calls them and lasagna freezes great!!! I honestly have made a pan of lasagna, eaten it one night and then Jason made lunches out of the rest for the freezer. Funny, Katie does the same thing with lasagna...it's a great "freezer meal"....pull it out of the freezer in the morning as your "ice pack" and by lunch it's ready to microwave and eat....just as yummy as fresh made!
Carole...I too wonder if possibly Sarah and Todd at work had a mild case of COVID-19 in December....both had the fever, cough, chest tightness and difficulty getting a good breath....both test negative for the "flu" and it ran it's course in a couple weeks?? Who knows, I have a feeling it was here in the US long before it it pandemic number of cases/deaths.....
Carole...I LOVE that you spoke your mind about needing that "time" after work to wind down before starting dinner...glad Tracy took the initiative and started for you!! I agree, take full advantage of the nice day and make those loops in the fresh air! Wearing masks all day, I have a new found LOVE for fresh air!!! Because I have mild asthma which is usually only a problem when I get a chest cold I am having issues with the masks...I have to pull them down to get some good deep breaths of fresh air and not the stale carbon dioxide air I breathe under my mask...if I wanted, I could not wear one and because of HIPAA they can't ask me why and they can't make me but I can't do that but if I'm getting tight on my chest or light headed, I pull it down and if people look at me funny I just tell them "it's fresh air or my inhaler" and they say nothing! Sounds like you might need to switch back in forth from the table to the bar depending on what aches!! At least you have options. Would be nice if the bank would let you bring your standing desk home since they made you work from home...I get that they purchased it but it's yours for work and you ARE working from home!
I agree with opening the procedure place for Tracy to get her surgery done....I know in PA are they are opening up elective surgeries now that the hospitals are able to keep up with the corona cases since we have plateaued a bit....In my opinion the things that should open are the ones that already have sterile/clean practices in place and not the ones that are just for pampering. Heck, we all need a haircut, we would all love a pedicure but is it a matter of health...NO!!! Allergy clinics and places like medical buildings for elective procedures are definitely more important.
Hi Jo...hope you had a fun chat with your mom!!!
OK...woke to an email this morning from Annie with the results of DM CAT Scan......here is the scoop!!
When Nanie was referred to Rheumatology, she found out that she did not actually have Rheumatoid Arthritis; however, the inflammation markers in her blood work were elevated as well as the white blood cell count. A quick follow-up a month later showed the inflammation had further increased and the WBC was still elevated. Additionally, she had some crackling deep in her lungs. Therefore, Rheumatology sent her for a CT Scan of the chest, abdomen and pelvis, which had to go through her PCP, otherwise it would not be covered. The blood work led them to look for any possible infections or cancers.
We received the results today from her primary care appointment: no infections or cancers (Praise the Lord!), but she has an aneurysm in the aorta in the chest, which is 4.17 cm. Per the PA at the PCP’s office, nothing is done with those until they are over 5 cm, so they sent the information to Rheumatology and her cardiologist. No need to do anything at present unless the cardiologist contacts us, otherwise, it’s just watch and wait, as you all probably well know. She has a follow-up with cardiology in October (because we just went to that appointment last week), and a follow-up with her PCP in August.
Her attitude is terrific. She said, “When the Lord calls, I shall answer the call.” She wasn’t much concerned at all about the aneurysm, considering the family history, and was much relieved there were no cancers.
As far as the lungs go, a chest x-ray and the chest CT showed normal results for an 80 year old who had pneumonia last year.
She said her father had two aneurysms, and, I already knew about Auntie Joanie having an aneurysm, but I’m not sure where it is. First Nanie said Joan’s was in the chest, then a few minutes later she said the abdomen, then about half an hour later said the chest. Anyone know which it is? I’m curious as Nanie said Joan’s has been present for the last 10 years.
I did check with my DC Lisa and Auntie Joanie had one that was over 5 cm and it was removed but she still has several that they are just watching....guess the "doom and gloom" picture Kris presented last week was just her way of making it seem like mom was miserable and just wanted to die!! I'm relieved and confident that with Jim and Annie she IS getting the care she actually needs and NOT what Kris thinks she needs!!
Time for some dinner and little relaxing....need to check the BJ's coupons before I go tomorrow!

Sue: Pretty jealous of your half days - I will admit!!
Christine: Yes SO glad it IS Friday! Oh dear... sorry about the foot! I get it - WTH is happening with our bodies??
YAY for a desk... and "girl time" with Cheryl... oh gosh... sorry DH & DD were tugging at you again! LOL Yes patience with web ads is NEVER ENDING! I swear that bogs down my sites all the time!!
Have you gotten on the bike yet??? GO FOR IT!!
Jo: YAY for a short work day today... I too signed off "early", not as early as you - but oh well... 4:20 is a good time for me! LOL
Sue: No "openings" scheduled here yet... good luck as you move through it - it's true you give an inch they take a mile! Oh I had a nice day! Sun was out for a while... after my post the sun came out - I walked a few laps around the house... got more water pumped off the pool cover... then WHAM... back came the rains & Thunder...
Nope- once again the guy never called. Seriously?? UGH!!
Yup... my BIL, the same one who's wife & daughter collect disability... both of whom has not "suffered" during this pandemic... disability payments didn't stop or drop off... but yes, they too got the Stimulus checks... I am beyond angry at him - them - the whole system right now... making it better to stay home and collect than go back to work!
Maybe I will see a difference this time... I know if I were looking for blocks, and bricks I'd take someone up on FREE ones!
UGH To us mowing is just another "job"! Well I ended the day with 8 out of 10 dots... lost 2 due to darned work calls!
I keep thinking of going to get my desk, but MAN it is HEAVY... not sure Tracy & I could do it - and Ken is not around on a Saturday... which would be the best day to go get it. (Less people in the office, etc.)
Oh Sue... while not the best news about your DM, it is better than it could be! Hope you get a chance to touch base with her this weekend... {{{hugs}}}
Well looks like Gabrielle must be enjoying her day OFF...
will be back tomorrow ♥hugs♥

Hi all.... first of the month means statement day so didn’t get much activity in. It was hot outside this afternoon and I tried to set out there to look up info on some SeneGence stuff to try and add ppl to my line of business. I would really love to get some ppl added and start making commission on them. So I was checking out ppls SeneGence pages and seeing what I could do. They are having free sign ups so I want to at least try and recruit.
Come in and fixed a late supper and now I need to be in bed. Gotta work as usual. DH says he is going to try and build me a porch. Wow.... I’ve been wanting one now for almost 12 years. We bought our solitaire in August 2008. Anyway he said it would be my bday present. He is not a carpenter but I’m sure it will be nice.
DS last I heard doesn’t have his stress test scheduled. I think it’s because he hasn’t been on them about getting orders sent out. Probably has fallen through the cracks. He needs to get on top it and get it done
Spanky is recouping from the coyote scare. He is one lucky don!!! No reason why he is still alive. Just grateful something scared them off.
Sorry guys I have to go bed in the morning for another day of work!!! See you all Soon
