Good morning all. Beautiful day out there. Only thing on my agenda today, other than walking, is laundry which is on now. Not sure when we'll get to switch over the closets. Won't happen today as I'm still drained from all I accomplished yesterday. I did sleep well, so there's that!
Pam so happy you go to take walks and your visit with DD was fun.
Sue are you planning another 'picnic' It was nice sitting in the screen room yesterday. So peaceful listening to wind chimes. We will do that again today.
Judy hope you and DH had a nice trip to the Cape and enjoying yourselves.
Need to complete my online tasks then have coffee and plan my day.

Good morning!
I slept well and have had one cup of coffee. I'm off to attend video Mass and then head to my church parking lot to see what Fr. Brent has for us today. I'll BBL.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Sunday!! We have another beautiful sunny day on tap with temps already in the mid-60's and a predicted high in the 70's. Yesterday we had a reported 77 degrees!! It was wonderful!! I have switched the storms/screens on both the back and front door and have been opening the door wall in the afternoons.
My hair, though cut short, was long in the back. The last time I had it cut (some 7 weeks ago) I thought she cut it awfully short (which worked out to my advantage). But she left the back even longer than usual. Well, in the ensuing time my very thick and heavy hair grew and grew plus the back is curly (the rest is not). It was finally making me absolutely crazy!! After my shower last night, DH agreed to cut my hair. He later admitted he was terrified - mostly that he would do something wrong and upset me. Because of the funky curl pattern and it not being symmetrical, it presents its own challenges. He cut off about an inch and a half, then evened it up- and all in all he did a fantastic job!! I am so much happier as it feels and looks so much better. Necessity is truly the mother of (all good things).
Today I have started laundry, dusted the house and am in the midst of vacuuming it. Then it will be time to bring up the clean clothes - and by mid day I plan to be finished. Then I'll be back to my book.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Yeah to your super DH that trimmed your hair. After showering and drying my mop of hair I practiced patience and used the curling iron. It's acceptable.
We also havw a nice day on tap. Still haven't walked yet. Just lolly gagging . It's going to be a laid back Sunday spent primarily in the screen room.

Just got back from a very short hood walk. Miss LuLa was too hot in the sun. Can't say as I blame her LOL...I was just as happy to be home where I can sit and relax.

I had a nice Sunday. A nice parking lot sermon + rosary + hopes of Masses beginning again in some form at the end of the month. I came home and made a nice brunch of scrambled eggs, toast and bacon with some grapes for dessert. DH harvested most of the beets, so I put 4 packages of beet greens in the freezer. The beets will keep in the fridge for a long time and we didn't need anymore in the freezer. He saved some for us and brought some to my DB and his DMIL, a favorite of DH's. She is a fantastic Italian cook and brought DH her homemade lasagna when he had his amputation. He tries to keep her supplied with fresh vegetables, which she loves. She also taught me to make stuffed bell peppers and is an all around great lady and matriarch of her large extended family.
I had a nice long phone call with DD3 this afternoon. She was bringing meals to her DH's grandmother, because DD worries about her eating out all the time. She doesn't cook at all, but will reheat prepared meals. She is beloved by DD3 and all of our family. DD3 was relishing the 35-40 minute round trip without kids, lol. It was nice to chat with her without being interrupted numerous times by my DGKs, bless their hearts!
You have to wonder what the little kids think of all this CV stuff. DD3 said they had received some masks and the kids tried them on and played with them a bit. But yesterday, when DD finally relented to their pleas for McDonald's happy meals, little Leah freaked out when DD put on her mask and interacted with the McDonald's employee in a mask at the drive-thru. She kept saying, "Can you take it off, now? Take it off!!!" It breaks my heart.
DH and I had a little patio time and then I got my walk in the cane field along the shady tree line while he watched the news. It was in the low 80's today, so I worked up a sweat. Afterwards, DH and I hauled the remnants of the Katrina-era baker's rack to the front for the bi-monthly pickup of large garbage items. I also put away my big Easter bunny cutout that has been at the front of the house. I did not get to play in the dirt today, but there's always tomorrow!
Since God Friended Me is no more, we will watch Raiders of the Lost Ark tonight on Sunday Night at the Movies. Beanie Weenies and fresh beet greens are on the dinner menu.

Popping in again before BCS. I had a very laid back day. Did end up taking 3 shorter walks and was surprised when I checked and made my Garmin goal. It was hot here and neither LuLa or I enjoy the heat Our last walk was annoying with the black flies buzzing around. I won't stop and talk to anyone I just say 'black fly' and keep moving LOL. Oh well......beats getting eaten alive Out of the mouth of babes. You are right. I never thought how kids deal with all the CV stuff seeing as I am not a parent. It must be very difficult on so many levels. Hope you do get to play in the 'dirt' tomorrow. Carl did a little yard work and I just stayed put and did laundry. Your story of Italian cooking and baked lasagna brought me back to my mom and gramma. Seemed like there was always something Italian on the stove or in the oven. Hope y'all sleep well and have pleasant dreams.
